You only need 2 programs (one of which will help with security even if you dont use torrents)
Client: http://utorrent.com/ (no installer, low memory use)
Peerguardian 2: http://phoenixlabs.org/ (ip range blocker...good addition to your firewall)

Sorry, dont want to fill this cool thread up with linkless posts but as an aside: If you want to get hold of sources of info to hand out, and dont have much money, bittorrent is the best way by far imo.
You can get full DVD source to burn, quickly, as well as keeping up to date with all radio shows, interviews etc etc.
From my view you are saving the bandwidth of sites that stream or let you download free, saving them money and spreading info all over the world!
Its a media revolution.

If you have a yellow light in the client you will need to open a port on your firewall, if you check the help section in utorrent its all explained.
edit: Cant believe i forgot to say this: Remember to seed to at least a 1:1 ratio. i.e. upload what you download. Takes a while but thats how it works. The more you give back the longer it stays alive.

Scar you are a serious hero. Immortal Rocks and is truly a prophet spitting as it is. The Arab League are also dishing out the source of the evil and its footprints since 1776, for any that buy the whole she bang. Seriously as important as Lennons Imagine, or the Bush version some of you used at a flyer hand out. I commend thee and will follow suit soon.
I also gather that MUSE latest album Blackholes is heavy on 9/11, ID cards and such issues but I dont have it yet. I played in bands alongside them when they started out, so to know they are speaking is out is very nice.
