Detective in charge of looking for Maddie says she will be home for xmas then report says he thinks 100% she is dead. Slip of the tongue or just poor journalism. ( in hindsight I didnt spot the double negative, however still confusing)
Quote: | Mr Marco admitted he had no proof Madeleine was not dead but said he had to believe '100 per cent' that she was because he only knew how to look for people who were still alive. |
What a christmas present that would be if she is back alive for xmas just the tonic for a sad old world. All that fuss over one little girl (and quite rightly) but ignoring the thousands killed by our Gov and US. in Iraq and Afghanistan. _________________ JO911B.

It says :"Mr Marco admitted he had no proof Madeleine was not dead but said he had to believe '100 per cent' that she was because he only knew how to look for people who were still alive."
It just a poor use of English language: he uses a double negative in the 1st part of the statement. No conspiracy there I reckon. |
