the 10th is not a problem - but I have to ask, how widely is the film showing advertised? I'm increasingly having to deal with lots of stick about my activities here, so have to be careful as what is associated with 'Desmond Tutu House' (especially in the year that my review is taking place in!) If this is simply an internal movie, advertised to supporters then there is no problem, if adverts are placed in the media or at the Uni (where the Chaplain is trying to have us shut down) then I would have to say no. I'm sorry about the complication, I hope that you understand the complexities a radical priest finds himself in! | This is simply the problem
The Reverend Chris has found himself arrested protesting the Trident missile base , beats the drum in marching Samba bands and opens his church to all dissident groups including ours _________________ http://www.exopolitics-leeds.co.uk/introduction |

Yes, I think you might be right that he finds showing a simple film in his church is more threatening than all that activism
He once told me that 9/11 truthism run alongside his Stop the War stuff in public display was 'bad karma' as a Christian would
You'v e laid the seed of mistrust, Tony, as well you should. Why should a little filmshow cause such consternation and threat. It's ridiculous compared to his other activities _________________ http://www.exopolitics-leeds.co.uk/introduction |
