9/11 meet ups

I stumbled upon this http://9-11.meetup.com/ which allows you to register and see people who are looking for 911 meetups in your area. Seems like a great resource. I've registered and there are 7 people within 50 miles of me 1 in leeds itself.

An interesting facility. Is it a business venture and does it have the interests of the 911 truth campaign at heart?

I used meetups in the early days (2 years ago) and didn't find it that helpful, but it may have more users now

It is a commercial set up and it allows people to meet and discuss all sorts of stuff from collecting ear wax through to 9/11. So it has no vested interest to be sympathetic or unsympathetic. You could as easily set up 9/11truthdebunkers meetups

There were whispers in the states from people who make a habit of being paranoid that it was a cunning scam by the PTB to gather names and emails, but I work on the principle that the PTB can track all our online activities anyway so nothing there really

Experience tells us the best way to establish a new local group is to arrange a film screening and then leaflet and advertise it amongst potentially sympathetic groups like mad and make an announcement at the end of the film about wishing to start local campaign group and take it from there

Something similar on this site would be great. We've now got over 600 members and steadily increasing all the time. Surely it's possible for at least half of those people to be involved in a reasonably local meeting.

Re the theory hat the PTB could gather emails and names through stuff like meetup.com. I know so many people who are cowed into not acting against this because they are afraid of the authorities.

We should be fearless in fighting for the truth - the PTB induce our fear / insecurity / defeatism as a deliberate tactic to make us defeat ourselves.
