Quote: | After arrest, questioning and interrogation by police officials, all eleven members of the crew involved in the stunt, including eight production members of The Chaser's War on Everything and three drivers, were charged with entering a restricted area without special justification under the APEC Meeting (Police Powers) Act 2007.[12] All eleven were granted bail, on the condition that they do not enter any of the APEC secured areas, and ordered to appear at the Downing Centre Local Court on 4 October 2007.[26] Subsequently, this hearing and all matters were successfully adjourned until 5 December 2007 – a request from ABC lawyers.[27] The case was once again adjourned until 16 January 2008, and police said that they were considering dropping the charges.[28] Despite this, police now claim to have received new information and the issue has again been adjourned until 12 March. The ABC lawyers for the eleven charged have said that if the hearing goes ahead all charged will plead not guilty. |

Why is everyone so pleased...?
This goes against every security-based counter argument to the official 9/11 story.
Now, whenever any of us say Al-Q could not get pass Norad, Pentagon systems, through airport security with box-cutters etc...all the debunkers have to do is remind us of this.
Sheesh... |

The difference being security at airports has been necessary for decades because of hijackings but security meant to prevent non-existant Al Qaida terrorists is a joke. Since these potential attacks are an invention of the authorites they can afford to be relaxed about security. _________________ "The conflict between corporations and activists is that of narcolepsy versus remembrance. But your totally missing the point.
It shows that even after millions are spent on security people in those positions enforcing that security make mistakes and let things through.
What you are implying is that the whole of the security detail involved in this prank are somehow all briefed by Bush and co not to really be arsed about security at all as they made the whole Al-Q thing up.
A conspiracy theory too far some would say. |
