Alternative News leaflet in Cardiff area

I am thinking about starting a weekly/fortnightly newsletter, in which i'll try to fit as much coherent and structured information as is possible on an A5 piece of paper.

I'm thinking 250 A4 sheets (i.e. 500 leaflets) being posted through letterboxes, perhaps directing people to this site (or a partner site) if the leaflet strikes a chord. I will also offer an e-mail address where if enough interest is shown I will offer weekly e-mails with the world's important, unreported news, or of course different takes on currently mass-covered stories.

Being a student cost could be an issue, but I estimate it would cost approximately:

£3 per ream
250 copies @ approx. 5p each = £12.50

Has anyone got any suggestions with this? This is the first kind of activism I've ever done, so any help would be much appreciated.
