Just watching SKY News and We Are Change are featured live at the moment.
We Are Change have been the most successful campaign group and have demonstrated that they have what it takes to make the headlines and get the message across.
Excellent.
It appears Smon and Rob have climbed up a crane and unfurled a banner demanding that the UK governement relent on it's refusal to allow the UK public a referendum.
Bravo 100% support. It is the LEAD story!
Hope SKY gives them an interview. _________________
What's the consensus here?...hooray for this , boo-hiss for the runway climate changers last week on the roof of parliament!.. Just like John (Gaunty)Gaunt on Talksport?
Its good activism - in your face about issues that matter, though i'm not in the climate change, blame-it-all-on-carbon faction.
Well done WAC. I'd like to see something similar with a Re-investigate 911 banner! _________________ It's not about terror, its about illusion. It's not about war, it's about you

Just got a text from them. If anyone is in touch with or has contacts with the broadcast media and wants to try get these guys on the news, can you call me 07986 616941 and I will forward you their mobile phone number. Thanks
Newspapers can interview them when they come down. The opportunity is the broadcast media today and tomorrow. I've emailed a few newsrooms, but if others want to email them and offer them an interview with the protestors. If they bite contact me and I can forward on the mobile number
We Are Change UK questions David Miliband, Ed Miliband and Hilary Benn on Labour's failure to honour their manifesto promise of a referendum on the European Constitution _________________ www.truthaction.org/forum www.wearechange.org.uk

Simon and Rob are both home and safe. Well done lads _________________ "We will have to repent in this generation not merely for the vitriolic words and actions of the bad people, but for the appalling silence of the good people.” Martin Luther King
well done Simon and Rob. Excellently well timed action to bring the issue closer to the headlines at this crucial point in the proceedings. Simple, powerful and effective campaigning.

As Marion Cottilard would say, 'Bravo! Simon et Rob' (or words to that effect!). _________________ 'And he (the devil) said to him: To thee will I give all this power, and the glory of them; for to me they are delivered, and to whom I will, I give them'. Luke IV 5-7.

WAC, any chance of covering this on Thursday? It is likely to get very nasty, with Colombia being the US pawn to foment US aggression against Venezuela (and it's vast heavy oil fields!).
The more publicity this gets, and the sooner, the better. Here is HoV's request for support; perhaps you could film interviews with the demonstrators? .....
Dear all, apologies for the second email in as many days but we wanted to let you know about these very important events this Thursday March 6. With the recent aggression by Colombia against its neighbours and the response by Venezuela and Ecuador in an attempt to secure their borders, it's especially important to remember the primary victims of the Colombian narco-state - the workers, peasants and left-wing activists who have been repressed and assassinated by the army and paramilitaries for many years. Please join us this Thursday for the Colombia day of action outside Parliament and Downing Street, best Bolivarian wishes, HOV London COLOMBIA DAY OF ACTION - Thursday March 6 Remember the victims of para-militarism, para-politics and the crimes of the Colombian narco-state SOLIDARITY EVENTS IN LONDON 11am Parliament Square (opposite Houses of Parliament): No More Military Aid To Colombia organised by Justice for Colombia, ICTUR, Unite supported by Latin American Workers Association and the Collective for the Humanitarian Accord 5.30pm - 7.30pm Vigil opposite Downing Street, Whitehall: organised by Colombia Solidarity Campaign, the Collective for the Humanitarian Accord, Latin American Workers Association and Movimiento Ecuador en el Reino Unido. _________________ 'And he (the devil) said to him: To thee will I give all this power, and the glory of them; for to me they are delivered, and to whom I will, I give them'.
