I am not too sure how successful this may be but worth a go
Quote: | We aim to provide 9/11 Truthers with an opportunity to respond to relevant press articles in support of proper investigation of what actually did happen on September 11, 2001. 9/11 is now an open secret in many quarters. It is now important to support journalists and others who, little by little, are willing to let this secret out.

From Ian (nabbed from email)
Quote: | The way it is intended to work is that people post information on mentions of 9/11 in the press, with response details. Then others, if they wish, respond, and send their responses to the Yahoo group, to encourage others. In this way, I hope that we can really build up the number of small mentions of 9/11 truth, and create a general awareness. So far we have been focused on arguing the point. Now that it is an open secret, we need to trigger further exposure in the press.

Thanks, Dave. We ran a Press Panel in the dim and distant past in another movement, and it worked brilliantly. That was the days before the Internet, when everything was done by post.
I've put a couple of posts in already.
I envisage that the interesting stories will still get onto this website, but that the Press Panel will deal with many that don't make it.
If anyone would like to put a button on their website for subscribing to the Press Panel, then there is code for doing that here:
Quote: | <form method="get" action="http://groups.yahoo.com/subscribe/PressPanel911">
<table cellspacing="0" cellpadding="2" border="0" bgcolor="#ffffcc">
<tr>
<td colspan="2" align="center">
<em>Subscribe to PressPanel911</em>
</td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td>
<input type="text" name="user" value="enter email address" size="20">
</td>
<td>
<input type="image" border="0" alt="Click here to join PressPanel911"
name="Click here to join PressPanel911"
src="http://us.i1.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/i/yg/img/i/us/ui/join.gif">
</td>
</tr>
<tr align="center">
<td colspan="2">
Powered by <a href="http://groups.yahoo.com/">groups.yahoo.com</a>
</td>
</tr>
</table>
</form> |

I registered, Ian, but I'm still waiting for a confirmatory e-mail so that I can validate the account.
Seems like some on that forum are only concerned with trivia. Plus ca change, ...

Would this provide a useful outlet for journalists to show their thoughts anonymously? They can also receive 9/11 related messages.
I personally think it is worth a go to contact local journalists. _________________ Currently working on a new website |
