US Nuclear B-1 Bomber On Iran ‘Attack Run’ Shot Down

In a disturbing continuation of our April 2nd report, “Russia ‘Alarmed’
As US Readies April Nuclear Attack On Iran”, and wherein we reported on
the United States War Leaders plans to attack Iran, Russian Military
Analysts are today reporting that the US Air Force has ‘shot down’ one
of their own bombers reported to be on an ‘attack run’ towards Iran’s
Bushehr nuclear plant. [Pictured 3rd down on left]

According to these reports, an American B-1 Lancer supersonic strategic
nuclear bomber based out of the United States Ellsworth Air Force Base,
and which bills itself as, "The "backbone" of global engagement for the
21st century", attempted to ‘deviate’ from its assigned flight path over
the Persian Gulf Nation of Qatar by rapidly descending for what these
reports state is ‘typical’ for these types of aircraft when engaging in
combat.

When contacted by US Air Force officials stationed at Qatar’s Al Udeid
Air Base, these reports continue, this B-1 nuclear bomber ‘squawked’
what is called a ‘CIA Identification Code’, and not, what Russian
Military Analysts say, was the correct code for American fighter
aircraft over flying Middle Eastern Nations, whereupon it was ordered to
land or face an ‘immediate’ shoot down.

Russian Military intercepts of US Air Force communications, during this
incident, portray a chaotic scene where after refusing to change its
course, American Military Officials ordered a US F-16 Fighter Jet to
‘strafe’ the B-1 nuclear bomber, but then a US Naval Carrier, stationed
in the Persian Gulf, ‘ordered’ its fighter jets to attack those of the
US Air Force.

As US Air Force Commanders launched more of their fighter jets into the
air against their own Naval Forces, the B-1 nuclear bomber was reported
to have been hit by cannon fire from the F-16 fighter jet, after which
it changed its course for an ‘emergency’ landing at the Al Udeid Air
Base and which upon landing ‘exploded’. These reports state that no
further hostilities between the US Air Force and its Navy counterparts
during this incident occurred.

American propaganda media sources, though acknowledging the destruction
of this B-1 nuclear bomber, have failed, so far, to complete their
fabrication of this incident into the final coherent form they deem
suitable for their citizens, and as we can read as reported by the
Dakota Voice News Service, and as we can read:

"The Rapid City Journal is confirming that the B-1 bomber which was
involved in the incident in Qatar earlier today was from Ellsworth Air
Force Base here in Rapid City.

The crew made it to safety, and the article says that details are
uncertain as to whether the crew was from Ellsworth or from another
base. Sgt. Sandra Lucas of the Al-Udeid Air Base public affairs office
confirmed Friday afternoon that the incident involved an Ellsworth
plane. But she could not confirm whether any or all of the plane’s crew
members were from Ellsworth.

The Air Force says the bomber was taxiing after landing at Al-Udeid Air
Base in Qatar and caught fire. Few details are available, although the
Air Force says the aircraft was involved in a ground incident. All four
crew members aboard the plane safely evacuated, according to the Air
Force.

It was initially reported that the bomber crashed, but reports now say
that wasn't the case. One report said that some of the munitions aboard
exploded, but I've only seen that in one place, so don't know for sure
if it's accurate."

Russian Military Commanders further speculate, in these reports, that
the United States Defense Secretary, Robert Gates, and who last week
ordered a full inventory of all American nuclear weapons, was ‘no doubt’
the US Military Commander who issued the ‘shoot down’ order for this B-1
nuclear bomber as he has been reported long at odds with the American
Vice President, Richard Cheney, over the latter’s push for an immediate
nuclear strike against Iran.

However, though this latest attempt by dissident American Military
Commanders to stop their War Leaders from plunging the World into Total
War has, apparently, been successful, this may not be the case for long,
and as we can read as reported by the Rutland Herald News Service in
their article detailing the concerns of the former head of the UN
weapons inspection team, Scott Ritter, and which says:

"Scott Ritter, former head of weapons inspection in Iraq who protested
there were no weapons of mass destruction to justify an invasion,
believes the same is true for Iran.

But there is an 80 percent chance of war with Iran, he told about 200
people Wednesday at Middlebury College as part of a series of talks
facilitated by the Vermont Peace and Justice Center. The pattern of
preparations for such a conflict has been steadily developing and
involves Congress as well as the Bush-Cheney administration, he said.

People ask him if he feels vindicated by the absence of WMDs in Iraq, he
said, but "there isn't any vindication in being right about this one." A
war with Iran would hasten the ongoing decline of American standing in
the world, and afterward Russia and China would be ready to take
advantage of the resulting power vacuum, he said.

Among the war clouds Ritter cited were:

Preemptive strikes against the two groups most likely to erupt if the
United States invaded Iran, Hezbollah (unsuccessfully attacked by
Israel) and Moqtada al-Sadr's Mahdi Army (unsuccessfully attacked in
Basra by Iraq's central government).

Ritter predicted a similarly disappointing showing if the American
forces attacked Iran, a country 2-1/2 times as large and populous as
Iraq that is much more unified culturally and did not have its army
destroyed in a previous war with the United States.


Recent visits to Middle Eastern allies by high officials, ostensibly for
other purposes, but really to prepare them for the effects of such a
war.

The appearance of the "miracle laptop," as Ritter called it, a thousand
pages of technical documents supposedly from a stolen Iranian computer,
which dubiously had just the sort of information the administration
needed to support a hard-line stand on Iran.

Cheney's order to send a third aircraft carrier battle group close to

Admiral William Fallon, the first admiral to be head of Central Command,
said that level of naval forces was unnecessary and blocked the move.
Ritter said that was "a heroic thing."

Most unfortunately for the American people, and also the World, is that
the last chance for peace, and as Scott Ritter had also noted, is now
gone as Admiral William Fallon has fallen, and as we can read as
reported by Britain’s Times Online News Service in their article titled
"Admiral William Fallon quits over Iran policy", and which says:

"The top US military commander for Iraq and Afghanistan resigned last
night after weeks of behind-the-scenes disagreements with the White
House over the direction of American foreign policy. Admiral William
Fallon, the head of US Central Command, left his post a week after a
profile in Esquire magazine portrayed him as a dove opposed to
President’s Bush’s Iran policy. The article, entitled The Man Between
War and Peace, described Admiral Fallon as a lone voice against taking
military action to stop the Iranian nuclear programme."

With this ‘lone voice’ of reason of Admiral Fallon now gone from the
scene, the American people are now left only with their ‘lone wolf’ War
Leaders…may God have mercy on them.

Today the London Telegraph reported that “British officials gave warning yesterday that America’s commander in Iraq will declare that Iran is waging war against the US-backed Baghdad government. A strong statement from General David Petraeus about Iran’s intervention in Iraq could set the stage for a US attack on Iranian militiary facilities, according to a Whitehall assessment.”

The neocon lacky Petraeus has had his script written for him by Cheney, and Petraeus together with neocon warmonger Ryan Crocker, the US governor of the Green Zone in Baghdad, will present Congress next Tuesday and Wednesday with the lies, for which the road has been well paved by neocon propagandists such as Kimberly Kagan, that “the US must recognize that Iran is engaged in a full-up proxy war against it in Iraq.”

Don’t expect Congress to do anything except to egg on the attack. On April 3 the International Herald Tribune reported that senators and representatives have made millions of dollars from their investments in defense companies totaling $196 million. Rep. Ike Skelton, the Democrat chairman of the House Armed Services Committee, is already on board with the attack on Iran. The London Telegraph quotes Skelton: “Iran is the bull in the china shop. In all of this, they seem to have links to all of the Shi’ite groups, whether they be political or military.”

All Skelton knows is what the war criminal Bush regime tells him. If Iran really does have all these connections, then it behooves Washington to cease threatening Iran and to make nice with Iran in order to stabilize Iraq and extract the US from the nightmare.

Reporting from Tehran on April 4, Reuters quotes Mohsen Hakim, whose father, Abdul Aziz al-Hakim, leads the Supreme Islamic Iraqi Council, an ally of the Maliki US puppetgovernment in Iraq: “Tehran, by using its positive influence on the Iraqi nation, paved the way for the return of peace to Iraq and the new situation is the result of Iran’s efforts.”

Instead of thanking Iran and working with Iran diplomatically to restore stability to Iraq, the Bush regime intends to expand the nightmare with a military attack on Iran. Ryan Crocker was quick to dispute Hakim’s report that Iran had used its influence to end the fighting in Basra. Crocker alleged that Iran had started the fighting. The absurdity of Crocker’s claim is obvious as even the neocon US media reported that the fighting in Basra was started by the US and Maliki in an effort to clear out the Shi’ite al-Sadr militias. Most experts saw the attack on al-Sadr for what it was: an effort to remove a potential threat to the US supply line from Kuwait in the event of a US attack on Iran.

Crocker alleges that the rockets dropping on the Green Zone during the Basra fighting were made in 2007 in Iran. As should be obvious even to disengaged Americans, if Iran were to arm the Iraqi insurgency, the insurgents would have modern weapons to counter US helicopter gunships and heavy tanks. The insurgents have no such weapons. The neocon lie that Iran is the cause of the Iraqi insurgency is just another Bush regime lie like the lie that Saddam Hussein had weapons of mass destruction and connections to al Qaeda and the lie that the Taliban in Afghanistan attacked the US.

The Bush regime will tell any lie and orchestrate any event in order to “finish the job” in the Middle East.

“Finishing the job” means to destroy the ability of Iraq, Iran, and Syria to provide support for the Palestinians and for Hezbollah in southern Lebanon against Israeli aggression. With Iraq and Iran in turmoil, Syria might simply give up and become another American client state. With Iraq and Iran in turmoil, Israel can steal the rest of the West Bank along with the water resources in southern Lebanon. That is what “the war on terror” is really about.

The entire world knows this. Consequently, the US and Israel are essentially isolated. The US can only count on the support that it can bribe and pay for.

At the NATO-Russian summit in Bucharest, Romania, on April 4, Russian President Putin said: “No one can seriously think that Iran would dare attack the U.S. Instead of pushing Iran into a corner, it would be far more sensible to think together how to help Iran become more predictable and transparent.”

Of course it would, but that is not what the warmonger Bush regime wants.

Perhaps the British government has derailed the plot to attack Iran by leaking in advance to the London Telegraph the disinformation Cheney has prepared for Petraeus and Crocker to deliver to the complicit US Congress next Tuesday and Wednesday. On the other hand, the US puppet media is likely to bury the real story and to trumpet Petraeus claims that Iran has, in effect, already declared war on the US by sending weapons to kill US troops in Iraq.

By next Thursday we will know from how the Petraeus-Crocker dog and pony show plays in the US Congress and media whether the Bush Regime will commit yet another war crime by attacking Iran.

National Home Front Drill to be held on 8-10 April.

A drill-siren will be heard across the country as part of a national home-front exercise at 10:00 am, Tuesday, April 8, 2008.

The siren will be part of a national drill taking place involving all of the national emergency services, the IDF Home-Front Command, the Israel Police, Magen David Adom, Israel Fire Department, government offices and local authorities.
Immediately after the drill-siren, a special home-front broadcast will be shown on channel 33 during which explanatory videos will be broadcasted guiding the general public on safeguard areas as well as special explanatory videos for children.

For the first time in Israel, the Israel National Emergency Agency (NEA) will conduct a large-scale home-front drill design to examine the country's emergency preparedness during the state of emergency. The drill will take place between the 6th and the 10 of April, 2008.

The NEA was established in September 2007 in order to coordinate the work of all military and civilian bodies that are operational during a national state of emergency of natural disaster.

The nation-wide drill will simulate various emergency situations that can develop after a full scale war or natural disaster, and will include sounding a siren throughout the country, simulation of an attack by non-conventional rockets, receiving the injured in hospitals, dills in all educational institutes throughout Israel and forwarding warnings and instructions to the general public via mass media.
