Ahhh...

End of an era.

Despite the conflict - it was a good UK based info exchange for a while.

No idea where to go now for [national] UK based stuff - which given the fact I keep fairly up on things isn't too good. Maybe I should read a few more posts here.

Can whoever turned off the redirect to make nineeleven.co.uk no longer point to 911forum.org.uk please switch it back pronto

I had originally added the .htaccess rule on Saturday to redirect to 911forum.org.uk and I believe, that due to some confusion re. what Tony wanted to be done, it was changed back to non-redirection on Sunday.

This has now been corrected and as of ~10:30 this morning:

nineeleven.co.uk --> 911forum.org.uk

The website design, background, colour and layout has always been one of my favourites on t'intenet!

Hi Pikey -

Thanks fella - although it has been a collaborative effort involving a few people.

I think that I can safely stake a major claim to the setup and overall layout of the front-page as a coded template that sits on top of the phpBB system. Some changes were made a few months back that I did not do myself.

The most recent layout (as of today) has been improved a little with the repositioning of the media "bar" to the center, bottom part of the page. This reduces the page length and just looks tidier. The banners have also been improved with the addition of a black background which balances the region in which they sit (to the right.) Any stale links have also been updated.

Yes Jim I will echo Pikeys comments especially with all this techinical stuff of web design. I can just about manage to post a message on a forum such is the extent of my computer knowledge, so your skills and efforts along with the rest of the team are appreciated.
