Defiant and hilarious.

A courageous, intelligent man confronting the hypocrisies of human nature and attacking many conventions of the control grid.

And also pissed off, like any reasonably awake individual should be these days.

he was one of the greats....

most people mellow out as they get older - but carlin's comedy started off laid back but got angrier and more abrasive in his later years.

I find it difficult to speak about a talented human who is now no longer with us.

It was about a year or so ago that this forum introduced me to George Carling.

How did I miss him out for so long?

Why oh why did his message not reach me?

It's not often that I sit and laugh and smile at utoob.

This human being speaks. Inside his words, outside his words, he tells us what we want to know, what we already think we know.

Comedic talent - beyond a doubt.

George, you are and always will be a fabulous, funny, witty, fast thinking man.
