I recently finished a documentary I've been working on for the last seven months, called 'Wake Up Call'.

A brilliant piece of work what I've seen of this, not a dull moment, well scripted. Let's really pull some stops out on this one.
I'm going to suggest two lines of action....
1. Identify the commissioning editors who should show this on mainstream TV
2. get their phone numbers and identify events where we can get access to them.

Good idea. It should be easy enough to find names and phone numbers for these editors. Their identity is not kept secret.
Getting them to look at this material might be difficult though.

So you think we should try to get permission from all of the original documentary makers to get this on TV? Or we should approach the appropriate people that could get this approved for TV? Or both?

No way - you don't need permission for excerpts so long as they're not too long (legal grey area) and that you credit the original sources at the end
Check out the copyright law on 'fair use'.

That's re-assuring to know. I was a little bit worried that I may have breached copyright laws. Are you certain about this?

I'd suggest a formal approach to the main three channel broadcasters in the UK - keeping a close record of names and all their promises/excuses obviously. Icke's language is a problem for me but maybe not for them.
When he says 'provable' he needs to back it up much more with the facts if you're overturning a widely believed 'myth'.
Do you really think the film is professional enough to be put on TV? The video quality is lacking in some areas, and I'm hardly an expert editor...

Now I've had a chance to watch through this it's a shame there is such a massive reliance on David Icke.
Don't filmmakers understand how his totally unorthadox view of history, what with the Atlanteans, Annunaki, etc etc. taints all he says?
One or two Icke clips is okay but such a ot of Icke. Well, you're putting all your eggs ion one basket, which is viewed by most academics and TV people as a basket case.

I'm pleased to say that the newly improved and remastered edition of Wake Up Call is now available on high quality, dual layer DVD. All the rough edges have been re-edited and overall the film is looking much crisper and more professional - All of the scene and part transitions have been redone, the amateurish typewriter font has been replaced, errors have been corrected and the ending message/credits have been enlarged/ammended. The DVD also features a professional quality DVD menu which can be seen in the preview video below. And I personally loved the clip right at the end with the lions (watch the DVD to find out what I am talking about here). I've seen that clip before on the Internet and realised the relevance of it, but he has also picked up on it and included it - just sheer magic.
