"Last Man Out", the new film about William Rodriguez, will have its UK premiere at the London Portobello Film Festival next Sunday.
The much-anticipated film, made by Jonathan Kerr-Smith during the European and UK tours last year, details William's experience on the day, when he helped rescue people trapped in the buildings and survived being buried alive, and also follows him as he campaigns for a new inquiry into 9/11 on behalf of the survivors, families, and first responders.
The film will be screened at 11am, Sunday 14th September at Westbourne Studios, 242 Acklam Road, London W10 5JJ.

I would use the word 'disappointed' but I will use 'unfortunate' instead. Why? Because out of all the talks that were organised for that tour, the majority of his presentation used in the film was from Warwick University.
To argue there needs to be a seamless transition between talks in the editing process minimises the effort we all put in to give William the opportunity to go to different parts of the country.
Not wishing to denigrate the effort put into making the film, it would be great to see some recognition there was more to the tour than was presented on film.
I am not usually critical but I've had my say. _________________ Currently working on a new website |
