Impartial and unbiased reporting? I think not.
Paragraph 1 mentions 3 Israeli soldiers 'reported' as having been killed.
Paragraph 5 mentions the 46 Lebanese civilians definitely killed.
So Sky News rates 3 Israeli soldiers who may be dead as more important than 46 Lebanese civilians who are actually dead.
It makes the blood boil. |

Paragraph 8 - hmmm I wonder why they had to add that little dig in?
I get the impression from most people that they just don't care about all those poor people being slaughtered for no good reason. If it was Israeli people being killed there would be outrage here...yes it does indeed make the blood boil. |

They skipped this report too.
It was a breaking sky flash (no Breaking News Strap at the bottom, just a verbal headline quote ) at about 5 minutes to 3pm.
Then they went to the weather and then nothing.
I remember mentioning it to my partner.
"Suspected collaborators arrested in Beirut"
http://today.reuters.co.uk/news/newsarticle.aspx?type=topNews&storyid= 2006-07-19T135504Z_01_L19328597_RTRUKOT_0_TEXT0.xml&WTmodLoc=NewsArt-R 3-RelatedNews-12
part of the article.
"The detentions were made mainly in the suburbs. Some of those held have already confessed to helping Israel and were found to have unspecified "equipment", the source said."
It just makes me laugh they`re quick enough to give you the sound bite, but will only follow up on what they deem is relevent for whatever reason or agenda....?

I caught a brief report on the news that Bush doesn't think a cease fire is 'appropriate' right now. I mean, WHAT?!? That man wants more innocent people to be killed. The only way it will stop is if BOTH sides stop, sadly I can't see that happening. Absolutely disgusting |
