Hello Tony,

I've looked at some of YYYYY's posts, and I agree with your assessment of his abilities. I certainly would like to see him become a moderator, but I'm not sure that I would be much use as one, because I don't feel that I have the kind of overall scope that YYYYY has, or his apparent tolerance.

Rather than more moderators, what I would like to see is a re-formulation, by the organizers, of the objectives of the movement; objectives which place more emphasis on the need to spread the word, rather than to conduct internal debates with those who share the same basic view—that the truth has not been told—but who often disagree about what should or should not constitute the main thrust as to why we feel this way.

I don’t know if you remember Ned Sherrin’s That Was the Week That Was (TW3); it was where David Frost and one or two others got their start. Bernard Levin was one of the team, and his section of the programme had him taking on a group of experts, on a particular subject, and acting mostly as a Devil’s Advocate. He almost always came out on top, because he seemed to have the ability to make the group argue amongst themselves, mostly about trivial things, rather than sticking to the main points of the topic.

What this movement needs to do, more than anything else, is to set up targets, and concentrate on reaching them and getting them to listen to the overall logic of what we have to say, not to involve them in an analysis of the dust, for example, but to persuade them that the collapses of all three buildings could not have been caused just by two aeroplanes hitting two of them. These targets should be individual journalists, MPs, civil servants, etc.

Talking amongst ourselves doesn't seem to be cutting it.
