Hi all...written a letter to my MP Greg Knight and sent this via http://www.writetothem.com on Monday 24 November 2008 - as yet no reply has been received, but it's still early days I guess.

It's not the model letter I know, but it is my letter, written in my words. Some of you may disagree with the content but I couldn't give a * really.
Very Happy

"Dear Greg Knight,
As a conscious and politically aware citizen I am writing to inform you
that I have very very serious doubts about the so-called 'democracy' we
live in. Please bear with me in this letter and allow me to elaborate
somewhat; firstly on September 11 1991, George Bush Senior addressed
Congress and the media that a New World Order is emerging where the Rule
of Law will take precedence in modern society and International
Relations. So what is this Rule of Law and why does it exist?

To many ordinary British people, American affairs do not have any
influence or interest to us, but living in a globalised world the
opposite is true. I have studied an MA International Relations degree
at St Andrews so I am well aware of which I speak. Exactly, ten years
and one day after the aforementioned Bush NWO speech, and one day after
"9/11" the U.S Commission on National Security in the 21st Century, Gary
Hart in his speech to the Council on Foreign Relations stated:
"There is a chance for the President of the United States to use this
disaster to carry out a...a phrase his father used only once, and hasn't
been used since and that is a New World Order". The NWO and the Project
for a New American Century(PNAC)are the reasons why Iraq was invaded
(WMD's or not)and it does not take Einstein to figure out how the pieces
of the puzzle go together.

PNAC,founded in 1997 is a Washington-based Neo-Con think-tank which
wrote in a White Paper September 2000(exactly one year before '9/11')the
following: "The process of transformation, even if it brings
revolutionary change is likely to be a long one, absent some
catastrophic and catalysing event like a New Pearl Harbour". Need I
elaborate further!

In March 2003 you strongly voted for a War in Iraq and ironically some
five years later strongly voted for an investigation into the Iraq
War(see http://www.theyworkforyou.com/mp/greg_knight/east_yorkshire).
What are the findings that cause you to believe that after the voting
for war you now want an investigation?

I believe that the so-called 'democracy' we live in is anything but.
Call it a conspiracy, but the corporate and banking elite (namely the
private coteries of the Bank of England and Fed Reserve)and the Military
Industrial Complex of advanced nations including ours, have all the
control. The motions (literally) in which yourself and your fellow MP's
go through are at the mercy of NWO control and all of the above because
they pay your wages. You are part of a system which already decides upon
big decisions before it's even voted on so please do not patronise my
intelligence by telling me that you voted for the Iraq War because you
had a fear that Weapons of Mass Destruction would threaten our peace. If
you have evidence to the contrary I would be more than willing to have
you share it with me. After all, I am a UK, tax-paying citizen, served
nine years(Regular Army)service and know what is going on the world. It
is the duty of all of good citizens of a nation to question their
political representatives. Likewise it is their duty to serve us, the
people in our interests and not the interests of the corporate and
banking elite.

I and many others in the world are now waking-up to the farce which we
call a 'democracy'. A democracy which allows people to starve, be
enslaved to the drug industry and become criminals because they're
unable to sustain their habit as they cannot afford it. This is all part
of the engineered society we live-in. It is designed to be so to
distract from the greater ills which now run our political, economic and
administrative system, something we no longer have any legitimate and
real voting power to change. The rule of law we therefore live under is
now that of the NWO(even PM Brown says so in his CBI speech) and as it
is not of our choosing I ask you as my political representative to
enlighten me further into what is really going on.

The curious events of 9/11, particularly the falling of the Twin Towers
at nearly free-fall speed(indicating demolition) and the smoking gun of
them all 'WTC 7', is what aroused my curiosity that things were not as
they should be and that we as "useless eaters" are totally powerless
subjects. It is partly the fault of our apathetic and arrogant desire
for consumerism and other menial distraction that has led to a coup of
the people. The coup of course happened years ago, and it sometimes
takes decades for plans to develop and take shape in society and
government. Keeping every level of government in check is what being a
citizen is about and quoting Lord Acton 1887: "Power tends to corrupt,
and absolute power corrupts absolutely. Great men are almost always bad
men".

The greater good still exists, but it is kept down by the might of the
monster which, lurking behind every economic and political
decision-making system reminds those at its mercy who its paymaster is
and what might happen if it does not conform. I understand that former
Head of MI6 Sir Richard Dearlove was largely responsible for the
intelligence decision where an illegal case for war in 2003 was made.
This was in contrast to the report made by the late Dr David Kelly the
same year.
With all of this in mind I write this letter in an appeal to you Mr
Knight to reply in kind with your comments on the content of my letter
and would be grateful to hear about the real reasons why you voted for
the Iraq War.

I look forward to hearing from you in due course.

Yours sincerely,

Hilary Jane XXXXXXXX (Miss)"

Good letter Marigold but i think you over estimate the intelligence and free thinking of many of our MPs. So many Mps who you might normally have a decent regard for just voted in favour of the Iraq war..

I wrote to Rev and MP Ian Paisely asking him if he thought the devil had managed to get one over on him because he voted for war based on a lie.
Unfortunately i got no reply. Better luck with yours

Well, thanks fish. It's been nearly two weeks since I've sent the letter and on Friday heard from his secretary who blamed everything on Tony Blair and the "Dodgy Dossier".
She writes:

"Dear Miss Kitching

Receipt is acknowledged of your recent Email on the subject of democracy and other issues. Mr Knight will be replying to you in detail, in due course.

However, because this is the beginning of the Parliamentary year and the State Opening of Parliament has only just taken place, Mr Knight's reply may take a little longer than would normally be the case.

You ask in your Email why Mr Knight initially voted for the Iraq war and then later voted for an investigation into it. There is nothing surprising or contradictory in this.

Upon the evidence placed before Parliament, Mr Knight, together with every other mainstream politician, voted for the Iraq war.

However, that decision was made, it then came to light that the then Prime Minister, Tony Blair, had 'sexed up' the document upon which Parliament based its decision. This document then became known as the 'dodgy dossier'.

In the light of this dubious practice by the then British Prime Minister, Mr Knight decided that a full investigation was called for because it looked as if Parliament had been mislead, deliberately or otherwise. I do not think anyone would think there is anything unusual in Mr Knight wanting an investigation to see what the true facts were.

As mentioned, he will be responding to you in detail, in due course.

Regards
Teresa Sothcott

My reply:

"Dear Teresa Sothcott

In reply to my email you write:
"You ask in your Email why Mr Knight initially voted for the Iraq war and then later voted for an investigation into it. There is nothing surprising or contradictory in this".
No of course there's nothing surprising or contradictory in this...it's just that the majority of this country's ministers who voted, were in fear of being castigated for NOT voting for the war. A vote FOR the war will help keep the party-line happy, improve their relations with fellow MP's, corporations, the New World Order and the House of Windsor. Look what happened to the Right Honourable George Galloway who condemned the war, he was ridiculed, ignored and banned from the House. Everything was done to initiate an invasion of Iraq and Afghanistan, which I might add was illegal, and no serious investigation was implemented before the war was voted on, because the machine which runs the real decision-making in "the parliamentary system" had already made its mind up.

The reason no serious investigation and conclusion (besides that of the late Dr David Kelly) was made is because thorough investigations take time and as a great deal of profiteering (e.g Haliburton-construction company with major contracts in the Middle-East-former CEO, Dick Cheney ) and exploitation of resources could be made timing was therefore of the essence. Hence, a hasty vote for the Iraq War was exactly what the aforementioned required. Further, It is ironic that with respect to WMD's it was Donald Rumsfeld who sold Saddam Hussein biological and chemical weapons in 1983 (see http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/world/article807098.ece ).

You also state:

"However, that decision was made, it then came to light that the then Prime Minister, Tony Blair, had 'sexed up' the document upon which Parliament based its decision. This document then became known as the 'dodgy dossier'.In the light of this dubious practice by the then British Prime Minister, Mr Knight decided that a full investigation was called for because it looked as if Parliament had been mislead, deliberately or otherwise. I do not think anyone would think there is anything unusual in Mr Knight wanting an investigation to see what the true facts were".

Tony Blair will obviously be the scapegoat for blame as he was the Prime Minister at the time. The Prime Minister was just a figurehad who was seen to be making the decisions. In light of this many are now waking-up to the fact that he, like many other major leaders, are just puppets acting on behalf of a tightly controlled agenda. There is little point in blaming Tony Blair for the "dodgy dossier" and making this appear to be a right versus left false paradigm when we know that whoever else was the Prime MInister during the build up to the Iraq Invasion would have done exactly the same...again on behalf of the agenda. If you wish to lay any blame take note that MI6 played a huge role in this affair and they like MI5, CIA, FBI, ISI and Mossad have a history of False-Flag Terrorism (see Op Northwoods, Op Gladio, Op Gulf of Tompkin, to name but a few) and covert operations fixing intelligence for the benefit of a secret agenda (see: http://www.anniemachon.com/annie_machon/Spies_Lies_and_Whistleblowers. html).

Surely, those in Parliament are not so naive as to allow themselves to be mislead by intelligence services who have a history of the above. Is there no one who dare question these practices which have led to the massacre of innocent Iraqi and Afghan civilians and the unecessary deaths of thousands of coalition Military? Why were the mainstream politicians all in agreement for a War before they have properly researched this themselves? Have they no conscience or is there some other authority they are in fear of facing-up to or demanding answers from? These questions are what yourself and those serving state and government should be asking, instead of towing the party line, and allowing career/job preservation as the order of the day. Tax-paying loyal citizens deserve answers(to many questions) and with this in mind I promise to pester those in authority until an honest answer and change for the better is made.

I look forward to hearing from you in due course."[/quote]
