Scanning of ports!

Do any other members receive messages from their anti virus and firewall programs stating that the program has banned someone from scanning their ports? It only happens when I am surfing the various 911 sites and printing items off for my 911 film and discussion night in my pub. It would be easier if whoever it is would knock at my door and ask me what, why, and when I am looking at and I would gladly explain the reason to them!! Or are they not that brave? Big Brother, my a**e.

Having your ports scanned is quite a regular occurence, spambots will check your messenger etc ports, & you'll even find your ISP will do it to you too (to check you're not running a server etc). Nowt to worry about & summinck you can ignore as long as you have your firewall set up correctly.
