I don't think so but I was at the front. Plenty of photos though. It was a good talk and an interesting Q&A.
About 150-ish turned up though it might have been a bit more than that.
Could we pursuade him to do a top ten UK universities tour? _________________ Currently working on a new website |

Definatley more than 150 as I got further than that with a head-count half way through the talk before losing count.
I thought it was an excellent lecture, thanks for making it to all those who came. _________________

I was there.
As I recollect Professor Griffin mentioned in his conclusion that the quality of the research and the researchers and the resulting avalanche of indisputable evidence has brought us to a particular moment in history when the universal recognition of that truth and its meanings needs spread with urgency its torch of reason through all the war torn regions of the world and all the armies and the taxpayers and the children must know
where we stand
now. |

It would be useful to make accurate maps
that express interlinking systems
in artful enjoyable and surprising ways,
distribute them widely in various forms.
(Let golden sand cushion
the mind's fall from the cliffs to the beaches of time,
blissful in the gaze of the beneficent sun.
Break the news gently.)
We are here. |

We weren't allowed to film as DRG has some sort of deal with a filmmaker in the US. If we had been allowed to we would have. _________________ "We will have to repent in this generation not merely for the vitriolic words and actions of the bad people, but for the appalling silence of the good people.” Martin Luther King |

If you hadn't of banned Gareth he would have made all this clear. Not quite sure why one of the hardest working 9/11 campaigners in the country has been banned for pointing out concerns regarding the behaviour of Webster Tarpley and Kevin Barrett. Do you not think we should be offering checks and balances to avoid disinformation? If you disagreed with what he said, simply counter his argument. No real wonder this forum has gone down the pan.
There is audio of the whole talk which Gareth will be posting around the net. He can't put it up here though _________________ "We will have to repent in this generation not merely for the vitriolic words and actions of the bad people, but for the appalling silence of the good people.” Martin Luther King |

April 14th, 2009 – London
Prof David Ray GriffinLONDON (Herald de Paris) – “It is difficult to get a man to understand something when his salary depends upon his not understanding it.” Quoting Upton Sinclair, professor David Ray Griffin addressed an attentive audience at the City University of London last Tuesday for almost three hours in the first of the ten appointments of his European tour entitled “9/11: Time for a Second Look,” a second and deeper look at the events that eight years ago cost almost 3,000 american citizens their lives, and that were used as the root cause to wage war to Afghanistan first and among the excuses for the invasion of Iraq.
Since 2003, hundreds between scholars, engineers, architects, political and religious leaders, lawyers, medical professionals, pilots, senior military and intelligence officers, firefighters, artists and media professionals from all over the world have joined him in his call for an unflinching investigation over the 9/11 attacks since, he maintains, the explanations provided by the Bush/Cheney administration are inconsistent and false.
Griffin pointed out that since 2001 the only investigations were carried out by agencies aligned with and employed by the Bush/Cheney administration, such as the NIST, and that their findings are in striking contrast with the results of independent researchers and experts, making an independent investigation essential to establish what really happened and who is behind 9/11 attacks.
Recently, independent researchers have brought to light the presence of active thermitic material, a powerful explosive, in samples of the dust from the World Trade Center. This, according to Griffin, will further support the theory stressing that the collapse of the Twin Towers was due to a pre-planned demolition.
This breakthrough in the research on 9/11 comes from the collaboration of physicist Steven Jones, chemist Kevin Ryan, Niels Harrit, chemistry professor at the University of Copenhagen and scientist Jeffrey Farrer, Director of the Transmition Electron Microscopy at Brigham Young University, where Jones was also a professor of Physics.
City UniversitySince 2003 Griffin has devoted his time to explore the evidence from all studies carried out on 9/11. After analyzing the reports issued by the Bush/Cheney administration, he found they substantially were in contradiction with one other. Although all of them assert that the collapse of buildings 1, 2 and 7 was due to a combination of structural damages and fire, they refer to quite different collapse theories. In particular, the destruction of Tower 7, that the official version blames on spontaneous structural collapses since it wasn’t hit by an airplane, is, according to the independent researchers of “Scholars for 9/11 Truth & Justice,” the clear result of a controlled demolition.
Aware of the many consequences in foreign policy and world affairs that the attacks of 2001 have had, professor Griffin stresses tirelessly the importance of the scientific authority of the facts and the evidence supporting the independent research. The allegation that Al-Qaeda’s leader, Osama bin Laden, is behind the attacks made him the most wanted man in the world for the last eight years and the excuse of the Afghanistan war in 2001 and the invasion of Iraq in 2003. “It’s at least bizarre,” says Griffin, “that in the FBI’s website, the 9/11 attacks are not even mentioned.” On the page devoted to bin Laden, in fact, the FBI only states that the man “is wanted in connection with the August 7,1998 bombings of the United States embassies in Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania and Nairobi, Kenya.”
To an amused crowd, Griffin addressed some of his doubts: “I find strange,” he says, “that the islamic terrorists who organized the attacks, planned the destruction of the Tower 7 perfectly perpendicular. I would presume terrorists want to destroy whatever they can, without really minding about surrounding buildings. And here I wonder if in case of a destruction of much bigger proportions the insurance companies would have wanted to carry out more in-depth investigations.”
Griffin does not make explicit accusations, but he does raise important questions and he does demand a proper inquiry, free from the cover-ups had so far and aimed at establishing once for all who is behind these murderous acts. Looking at the new US president, Griffin is optimistic, he notices the great changes that Obama is already making within his administration and he highly hopes that he will open a new file about this page of American history. _________________ www.lawyerscommitteefor9-11inquiry.org

Has Osama Bin Laden been dead for seven years - and are the U.S. and Britain covering it up to continue war on terror?
By Sue Reid

Daily Mail
This week, still more questions have been raised with the publication in America and Britain of a book called Osama Bin Laden: Dead or Alive?
Written by political analyst and philosopher Professor David Ray Griffin, former emeritus professor at California's Claremont School of Theology, it is provoking shock waves - for it goes into far more detail about his supposed death and suggests there has been a cover-up by the West.
The book claims that Bin Laden died of kidney failure, or a linked complaint, on December 13, 2001, while living in Afghanistan's Tora Bora mountains close to the border with Waziristan.
His burial took place within 24 hours, in line with Muslim religious rules, and in an unmarked grave, which is a Wahhabi custom.
The author insists that the many Bin Laden tapes made since that date have been concocted by the West to make the world believe Bin Laden is alive. The purpose? To stoke up waning support for the war on terror in Iraq and Afghanistan. _________________ Simon - http://www.patriotsquestion911.com/
