As I'm sure you have noticed yourself Stephen, these knife-arches are also frequently set in place at train stations.
Incremental steps as always ey? |

If youve got kids carrying knives into school (and judging by knife crimes thats probably the case) what other method would you use to detect?
Unless we adopt the US "right to bear arms" that allows us all to carry knives and guns. _________________ JO911B.

Yes I've noticed them with drug dog sniffers! So if you were to walk into the train station and happened to be sitting near someone who was smoking pot on a bus (which does happen!) you are amedetly a surpsected drug dealer and are subjected to that threatment from the Police.
some one posted a short video of these knife arches been set up on the streets in Liverpool on a saturday night. Ive also hered people say they set them up at peak train hour when people are trying to come home from work and there going through peoples dirting washing etc... Just stuff Ive herd?

There's always been a problem with disaffected young people. There were teddy boy gangs back in the 50's going around with knifes. And now young people are being demonised a lot. I feel sorry for children now, growing up in are paranoid society. I can see it on the streets a lot of older people looking down on them because they have had there emotions manipulated by the main stream media.

That is of course a very sensible, logical way of seeing things.
Thing is, almost every kid I knew at school had a pen-knife. I remember buying a Rambo-style survival knife at school for a fiver once. There were no police-state arches then and I don't remember a single stabbing occuring. Not once.
What's changed?
Big question. No easy answer.
Knife crime is like 'terrorism'. It 'happens' but are the stats worth all the whittling away of liberties?
I suppose you have to hope that with the arches in place, kids don't just get wise and stab other kids elsewhere rather than at school.
They probably will. Then of course we will have to have the arches everywhere... |

Another thing Ive noticed a lot is the amount of signs with under 18,21 & 25 in shops saying IF YOU LOOK UNDER 21 or even under 25! etc.. and some of these are shops dont even sell alcohol and Ive seen it at the football ground and pub bar staff with bages saying I challenge you! If your under 21!. All these signs have RED circles around them with a RED line crossing the age out!
How about
NO NEW WORLD ORDER
