A photo op of a low level flying Air Force One 747 and F1 fighter jet scares the **** out of New Yorkers and the authorities knew it would but kept it secret. Buildings evacuated and panic spread. Wonder how long it took the F1 to get there--damn sight quicker than on 9/11. Maybe its an psyop against the Govt!!! saying we know! Could be more to this than meets the eye. Some reports say it was Air Force One others say it was Air Force Ones back up

Monday's military photo-op involving a low-flying airliner over New York City was:
Just a misunderstanding. I'm relieved to find out it wasn't a terrorist attack.
A huge mistake. The military should have cleared it with NYC officials first.
Obama calls Air Force One flyover 'mistake'
Mayor: Military photo-op was plane stupid
Federal officials knew a flyover in lower Manhattan could spark chaos and panic in the streets below - but they did it anyway.
A memo clearly marked "FOR OFFICIAL USE ONLY," shows the Federal Aviation Administration was aware that sending a Boeing 747 and F-16 fighter jet over New York City at a low altitude raised "the possibility of public concern."
Yet, the agency demanded the information be shared on a "need to know" basis and the public and media be kept in the dark.
It was a move branded "sheer stupidity" by Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) yesterday.
"To say that it should not be made public knowing that it might scare people, it's just confounding," he said.
"It's what gives Washington and government a bad name."
Police Commissioner Raymond Kelly told WCBS-TV it showed "insensitivity to the psychic wounds" the city has suffered since 9/11.
Adding further insult to injury, tapped-out taxpayers were told they paid $328,835 for the "aerial photo mission," designed to create souvenir snaps of Air Force One against the backdrop of the Statue of Liberty.
That's how much it cost to operate the two F-16 fighter jets and the customized Boeing 747, which serves as Air Force One when the President is aboard, the Air Force said.
The FAA memo, signed by James Johnson from Air Traffic, lays out details of the stunt that caused office workers to evacuate buildings, run for cover and stare in disbelief at the sight of a jumbo jet buzzing as low as 1,000 to 1,500 feet above the skyline, with a fighter jet on its tail.
It was an eerie reminder of 9/11 that prompted a swift apology from the White House and was slammed by an angry President Obama, who said he was not forewarned.
"It was a mistake," Obama said in Washington yesterday.
"It will not happen again."
Obama ordered a review of the operation, which was approved by the director of the White House Military Office, Louis Caldera.
The investigation was expected to last "a week or so," spokesman Robert Gibbs said. Caldera will not face disciplinary action until it is completed.
The Air Force said the flight was a routine three-hour training mission that could have taken place anywhere.
The feds made the decision to head to New York to obtain "historical documentation" of flying against the backdrop of the Statue of Liberty.
The three jets left Andrews Air Force Base in Maryland and arrived in downtown Manhattan at about 10 a.m.
One of the fighter jets peeled away while the second F-16, equipped with a camera, spent 30 minutes taking photos of the Boeing 747 over the city skyline.

Heckuva job, FEMA.
The government agency that bungled the Hurricane Katrina response has yanked a kiddie coloring book from its site called "A Scary Thing Happened" that depicts the burning twin towers on the cover - with a plane heading straight for one of them.
On page 12, the stomach-churning 9/11 image is repeated not once but three times, complete with flames - for kids to color.
"You might hear about it again and again on the T.V. or radio or read about it in the newspaper," it says on the page.
The Federal Emergency Management Association pulled the downloadable coloring book from its site last week — before a White House genius gave New York a 9/11 flashback by buzzing the city with one of the presidential planes and an F-16 jet.
"FEMA is currently reviewing all web content designed and posted by the previous administration," said FEMA spokesman Clark Stevens.
Meanwhile, New Yorkers who were shown the book saw just one color - red.
"I feel disrespected," said Jason Owens, 20, of Manhattan, who was with his 3-year-old son. "I feel like I should punch the person who did this in the face."
Standing with her goddaughter, 43-year-old Risat Jabeen of Brooklyn, said she was shocked FEMA would find it inoffensive.
"Kids color for fun so these things shouldn't be in coloring books," she said. "So many people died that day."
Vanessa Bell, 38, of Bronx, said there's no way she'd let her 5-year-old daughter color in that book. "It just makes kids feel depressed," she said.
The coloring book was dreamed up by the emergency response team in largely rural Freeborn County, Minn. - after it was ravaged by a tornado, said Rose Olmsted, a county official.
"It was developed to help children make some sense after a disaster," said Olmsted. "I have a letter from FEMA in 2003 applauding us for the coloring book."
At the time, the agency was run by Michael Brown, who became infamous when former President Bush praised him for doing a "heckuva job" even as New Orleans was drowning.
Olmsted said the coloring book was handed out to thousands of kids over the years - in the U.S. and as far away as Australia - to help them cope.
"We never had any complaints until now," she said.
Asked whether she could understand that a New York parent might not want their kid coloring in such an image, Olmsted said, "This is not about traumatizing them."
Marlys Jentoft, a 68-year-old grandmother of 10 and a Red Cross volunteer, drew the pictures inside the book.
Jentoft told The Smoking Gun, which posted the book on its site, that she did not give much thought to including the 9/11 images.
"I feel like it was happening in the world and kids saw it," she said. "It is life."

Caldera sat on the board of directors at IndyMac, a California bank seized by the federal government in 2008 in the second largest bank failure in U.S. history.(16)
School of the Americas
While Caldera was Army secretary, he came out strongly and consistently in favor of the School of the Americas, now known as the Western Hemisphere Institute for Security Cooperation. The school, which educates Latin Americans on military strategy and combat, has been attacked by human rights organizations for educating soldiers who later go on to torture their own citizens.(17)
Bart Simpson for Prez - he couldn't do any worse... that $9 11 pic spawned quite a few posters, including one of mine around here somewhere. _________________ "We will lead every revolution against us!" - attrib: Theodor Herzl

FEMA Colouring Book
Just another way of reinforcing the "story" with kids not even around on 9/11. We dont want a generation growing up wondering why our soldiers our killing people in far away lands. Looks like the bigger plan is to keep US soldiers out in these lands for a long time. _________________ JO911B.

PUEBLO, Colo. -- A ninth grade history project at a high school in Pueblo was supposed to teach students about terrorism, but instead it outraged parents. Gini Fischer says her daughter came home Thursday saying she had two minutes to come up with a plot for an act of terrorism.
Over 110 freshmen at Pueblo County High School were given the project. The teacher claims the assignment was to illustrate an act of terrorism by a foreign government on American soil.
Fischer says, "To ask them to use their creative energies to come up with a plot for an act of terrorism is very ludicrous."
District 70 Superintendent Dr. Dan Lere said students may have misinterpreted the assignment. He says if a student, "actually did illustrate an act of terrorism that they might commit, let's say against the school, we've expelled students for that."
The school district has decided to collect the assignment from students and destroy them. _________________ Simon - http://www.patriotsquestion911.com/
