We want to get Not Evil Just Wrong into theaters in every major city, town,
university and school across America and we need your help.
This is the film Al Gore and Hollywood doesn't want you to see. We are not yet a 501(c)(3) but are asking ordinary Americans to be part of cinematic history by making sure a documentary that finally tells the truth about their lives is shown across the nation. Al Gore has just closed two "green funds" after collecting almost three billion dollars and Barack Obama has raised $280m to promote his message. We have already raised almost $1m to make the documentary and want to set up an Obama style grassroots initiative to collect a further $3.5m so that those who want to use flawed science to raise our taxes and close our factories are made accountable. Send whatever you can to get the truth to our cinemas, newspapers and schools so that an issue that threatens to damage so many lives finally gets the debate it deserves.

Just looking at the list of contributors to the website and this film starts ringing alarm bells.
Ed Begley Jr - is an actor! Claims that the people of Fiji are extremely poor yet have a superior lifestyle. Isn't this an ironic statement to make considering what the film is all about?
John Day - is a solicitor! He is paid an enormous amount of money to defend whoever wishes to pay him. BTW, the parent in question didn't sue the government and only Mr Day only gained a partial victory for his client as the film can still be shown in schools. Perhaps John Day isn't very good at his job.
Roy Innis - a key proponent of racial equality! Clearly an expert on atmospheric science then.
Fiona Kobusingye-Boynes - another racial equality bod! Her issue with malaria has nothing to do with climate change.
Richard Lindzen - at last, a fully trained meteorologist. The problem is he is fully funded by Exxon. Ooooops!
Tiffany McElhany - she's a mother! I'm a father, so what.
Stephen McIntyre - a retired businessman! He rightly discovered that 1934 was the warmest year in US history. Too bad he forgot that global warming implies global temperatures and therefore NASA is still right to claim 2005 as being the warmest year for the world as a whole with 2008 in second place. '98, '02, '03, and 04 were not far behind.
Dr Patrick Moore - pretends to have co-founded Greenpeace! He was a director at one point but that's about it. He is paid by the British Columbia Forest Alliance (BCFA) which is the front for the PR firm Burson-Marsteller who represented Exxon after the Valdez oil spill and Union Carbide after the Bhopal chemical disaster. BCFA is funded by the logging industry, happily destroying millions of acres of rain forests each year which is destroying the environmental balance of the planet and displacing thousands of indigenous people!
Prof. Donald Roberts - is an expert on tropical medicine! What does DDT have to do with global warming?
Fred Singer - phew, another environmental expert, surely he must know. Sadly, he's another recipient of Exxon funds.
Bret Stephens - is a journalist! What does he know about anything?
I take it you haven't looked at that website. Al Gore takes his advice from James Hansen who was repeatedly told to stop promoting climate change by the Bush administration. Now why would it have done that or are you going to support Bush and his cronies on this one?

...And Al Gore's qualifications are...???
His qualifications are that he has popular appeal as a serious non-establishment politician, and he knew how to front a successful film which does a good job of presenting the science behind AGW to a lay audience, despite hysterical and unfounded accusations of "errors" by the corporate energy industry propagandists.
Gore studied under Roger Revelle (who, after a 45 year career in oceanography, was awarded the National Medal of Science - one of about 500 recipients in the 20th Century. He remarked to a reporter: "I got it for being the grandfather of the greenhouse effect.") at college.
That Gore is educated, intelligent, articulate and coherent - as opposed to the Reagan/Bush/Palin type rambling, basket-case morons the US right wing lately prefers as its figureheads - are the primary reasons he is so hated by certain corporate factions in the US. To see this parochial American drivel (and fear of the so-called NWO is nothing but an internal ethnic expression of alarm at imminent loss of total US hegemony) sucked up by those living outside the petri dish of High Empire society who would presume to know better, is astounding.
As for McAleer/McElhinney's effort, I thought this quote summed it up best: "a steaming pile of propaganda that would by comparison make Durkin's 'The Great Global Warming Swindle' read like a chapter of the IPCC’s Fourth Assessment Report."

Is there anything more sick-making than ex-lefties taking the corporate coin?
Just look at the state of New Labour.
And yes, there is - it's those who willingly swallow corporate propaganda without bothering to even check primary sources. _________________ Dissolution of the Global Corporations.

Strange choice of word there (underlined) but no I don't support Bush. It was a genuine question and asked to sort of even up the analysis of contributor integrity.
But let's not forget Gore folded without a whimper in 2000 and silenced the Black senators when confronted with their concerns over the disenfranchisement of black votes.
He simply told them to "move on"
This casts doubt over his integrity in my opinion.
I don't know what to believe about climate change/global warming. It would seem that the planet has gone through massive changes throughout history but then again I have no doubt that human pollution has an effect.
More research is needed on my part and thanks to Chek for actually answering the question.
His qualifications are that he has popular appeal as a serious non-establishment politician...
He has a Phd in "popular appeal" - not many have that particular
"qualification" !!

UNFOUNDED!!!!
Just when I think the barrel has been scraped bare by Chek he manages to get a few more drops of cr@p out of it. _________________ Tooth Fairy denier

Well, he actually has a Harvard degree and has been elected so what's your point?

The wispiest suggestion of an argument by emoticon and large type is about all you have left item7. You had nothing about the Dimmock/Monckton failed attempt to stop Gore's film being shown when this was debated before in this thread:

You do understand that the 2000 election was cover for part 1 (laying the grouindwork) of a coup, the reasons for which have since become clear with the implementation of part 2 on 9/11, don't you?
Before it latterly became obvious to all what a murderous faction the Cheney neocons were/are, I suspect Gore had made plain to him some reasons that made his decision to 'fold' seem the best option for both himself and the country at the time. Just as with Kerry four years later.
Incidentally, an easily understood primer on Global Warming can be found on Greenman's channel at: www.youtube.com/user/greenman3610
It's a series of short videos aimed at debunking AGW denier arguments, but in the course of doing so covers most of the basics that you will see being debated. _________________ Dissolution of the Global Corporations.
