ARK is the ‘charity’ which controls Burlington Danes Academy in Hammersmith and Fulham, London, and is looking to control at least 5 more. They are currently looking at sponsoring an academy school at the Wembley Sports Ground in Brent, London.
The chairman of ARK is Arpad Busson, who is also chairman of EIM Group. Busson has affiliations with the following individuals:

1) Arpad Plesch: Arpad Plesch was a mentor to Giovanni Agnelli http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arpad_Busson

Quote:
Plesch also was a mentor to Italy's richest man, the late head of Fiat, Gianni Agnelli who in turn mentored Arpad Busson

[to Arpad Busson].

Arpad Plesch was Busson’s step-grandfather and Busson is named after him. Plesch has been described as follows
http://palimpsest.stanford.edu/byform/mailing-lists/exlibris/2003/05/m sg00003.html

Quote:
international financier and collector of rare botanical books and pornographic esoterica. A fascinating man, he could converse on any topic, though he was also the subject of a number of disagreeable stories. … After 1925 he devoted himself to his extensive investments … It was said that he was acting in a manner detrimental to the interests of both Britain and the United States, and in 1941 he was blacklisted in both countries. Intelligence reports described him as a cunning, shrewd and suspected man . . . unprincipled and reported dangerous . . . a financial and legal genius without scruples or allegiance, without any hampering ties of national feelings…. His private life too was unconventional.

2) Giovanni Agnelli: Aside from being a mentor to Busson, Giovanni Agnelli was godfather to at least one of Busson’s children. www.cnn.com/SHOWBIZ/News/9901/27/showbuzz/index.html

Quote:
His father is French financier Arpad "Arki" Busson. Scores of paparazzi gathered outside the church, madly clicking away as the 34-year-old model-turned-mom entered. The baptism was followed by a luncheon hosted by the baby's godfather, Italian supermagnate Gianni Agnelli, whose family controls Fiat, Italy's largest private company.

Agnelli was reputedly one of the ‘inner circle’ of Bilderberg. http://www.rense.com/general6/maf.htm

Quote:
This shadowy and secretive group meets over a weekend in May/June each year, under an almost total media blackout. Powerful and very influential figures from the world of banking, business, politics, the media, trades unions and academia are invited. Included regularly, for example, are Dr Henry Kissinger, David Rockefeller, and Italy's "king-maker", Gianni Agnelli. The first meeting took place in May 1954.

It is now indisputable that this group exists as they have been mentioned in parliament a number of times.
http://www.publications.parliament.uk/pa/cm200102/cmhansrd/vo021107/te xt/21107105.htm

Quote:
Turnberry Bilderberg Meeting

Mr. Rosindell: To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department how many arrests were made in connection with security arrangements for the Turnberry Bilderberg meeting; if the status of one arrested individual as special constable was consequently revoked; what the costs of policing this event were; what arrangements were made for the use of military transport for security of attendees; how many Bilderberg events have taken place in the UK requiring notification of his Department; when the next such is planned; and if he will make a statement. [78119]

Mr. Blunkett: This is a matter for the Scottish Executive.

Agnelli also befriended Berlusconi. It has been stated that Berlusconi had Agnelli’s photograph on his bedside table.
http://www.guardian.co.uk/italy/story/0,12576,824146,00.html

Quote:
Old antagonists have flocked to Berlusconi, too. Gianni Agnelli, whose photograph Berlusconi is said to keep by his bed, was an early convert - though Agnelli's giant Fiat corporation has always backed the government of the day.

Henry Kissinger: Arpad Busson has an association with Kissinger via Giovanni Agnelli, and, according to one report, ‘he'd like Kissinger to write the Arkie Busson saga one day.’ http://www.spectator.co.uk/search/29401/part_2/trouble-at-club.thtml
Like Agnelli, Kissinger also attends Bilderberg meetings. Kissinger’s activities have included the following:
http://www.kissinger.20m.com/

Quote:
Vietnam Kissinger scuttled peace talks in 1968, paving the way for Richard Nixon's victory in the presidential race. Half the battle deaths in Vietnam took place between 1968 and 1972, not to mention the millions of civilians throughout Indochina who were killed.
Cambodia
Kissinger persuaded Nixon to widen the war with massive bombing of Cambodia and Laos. No one had suggested we go to war with either of these countries. By conservative estimates, the U.S. killed 600,000 civilians in Cambodia and another 350,000 in Laos.
Bangladesh
Using weapons supplied by the U.S., General Yahya Khan overthrew the democratically elected government and murdered at least half a million civilians in 1971. In the White House, the National Security Council wanted to condemn these actions. Kissinger refused. Amid the killing, Kissinger thanked Khan for his "delicacy and tact." CHILE
Kissinger helped to plan the 1973 U.S.-backed overthrow of the democratically elected Salvador Allende and the assassination of General Rene Schneider. Right-wing general Augusto Pinochet then took over. Moderates fled for their lives.
Cyprus
Kissinger medled in Eastern Europe as well. In 1974, he knowingly allowed and actually encouraged a Turkish invasion to Cyprus. The resulting invasion caused the division of the island and the disappearance of 1,619 people. Kissinger claims to have had no foreknowledge, but there is substantial evidence to the contrary.

Both Kissinger and Agnelli manipulated Berlusconi. http://www.iht.com/articles/2002/01/07/rome_ed3_.php

Quote:
After winning election last year, Mr. Berlusconi was lobbied by both Mr. Agnelli and Henry Kissinger, the former U.S. secretary of state, to name Mr. Ruggiero to the foreign ministry post. Mr. Kissinger is a friend of both Mr. Agnelli and Mr. Ruggiero. Some Italian newspapers repeatedly have described Mr. Ruggiero as "Agnelli's man" inside the government.’

Agnelli was also a mentor of Ruggiero, and, as reported in the ‘Executive Intelligence Review’ http://www.larouchepub.com/other/2002/2902ruggiero.html
Quote:

Since Berlusconi still hesitated, Henry Kissinger personally showed up, and accompanied Ruggiero in a visit to Berlusconi, making Berlusconi "an offer he couldn't refuse," as the mafia puts it.’

If a man is to be judged by the company he keeps, I don’t think much of Arpad Busson, chairman of ARK, sponsoring schools in the UK. Particularly concerning is his association with Agnelli and Kissinger, who have had a history of manipulating governments. Although Agnelli died in 2003 I am sure his influence remains.
