Jewish guerrillas told British: quit Palestine or die
Fighters were led by future Israeli premier
The Times - Marcus Leroux
A pamphlet warning Britons to leave the Middle East or face death has come to light in a stash of illicit propaganda.
The document does not hail from Basra or Baghdad, nor was it penned by the Islamists of al-Qaeda or the al-Mahdi Army. It was found in Haifa, about 60 years ago, and it was issued by the underground group led by Menachem Begin – the future Prime Minister of Israel and winner of the Nobel Peace Prize.
The document, which surfaced at an auction house this week, is addressed to “the soldiers of the occupation army” and aimed at British soldiers serving in Palestine, then under the British Mandate, preceding the establishment of Israel in 1948. The print has faded and the paper has discoloured since it was unearthed from a grove of trees in Haifa in the summer of 1947. Yet the language and the concerns remain current.
Bombings and murders by underground groups, such as Begin’s Irgun, hastened the British withdrawal and the United Nations declaration that led to the founding of modern Israel.
Irgun propaganda targeted the British Army’s wavering morale, already dented by the bomb attack on the Mandate’s headquarters – the King David Hotel in Jerusalem – which killed 91 people.
In the document, Irgun tells British troops: “It is unavoidable that many Jewish soldiers and many British soldiers should fall. And it is only fair that these people know at least why they may be killed.”
It adds: “Most of you have been in this country for quite a long time. You have learned what the word ‘terrorist’ means, some of you may even have come into direct contact with them (and heartily desire not to repeat the experience). But what do you know about them? Why does a young man go underground?”
It then draws a parallel with what would have happened if, seven years earlier, Britain had been overrun by Nazi Germany. “Remember 1940. Then it seemed quite possible that your island country would be conquered and subjugated by Hitler hordes . . . what would you have done? Would you have gone underground?” The pamphlet says that the occupation is “illegal and immoral” and “parallel to the mass assassination of a whole people”, in language that echoes that used on a note pinned to the booby-trapped bodies of two British intelligence officers executed by Irgun that same summer.............

Fraid so... the entire WoT seems to rely on mass myopia and collective forgetting of some of the most important lessons of the second world war
Such as this one
And today the title article of this thread and another critical of Apartheid Zionism have been hidden by anonymous censors on UK 'Indy'media.

The BBC's "World Have Your Say"?: Not If You're An Articulate Critic Of Israel!

The BBC World Service calls both its daily radio program and associated comment boards web blog "World Have Your Say". But, of course, when it comes to anyone who can _effectively, incisively, intellectually, and morally_ demolish the arguments of Israeli Zionism and its double standards, YOU _CAN'T_ HAVE YOUR SAY! -- according to the W.H.Y.S. web comment blog head moderators Paul Coletti and Will Rhodes. Below I will post a record of my comments at the W.H.Y.S. listener comment blog in a debate -- DELETED -- CENSORED -- by Paul Coletti and Will Rhodes -- with a Zionist comment poster named "steve". (On the subject of Israel, I know to keep a record of my posts.) Will Rhodes said it was too "heated" and "below our standards", but, of course, Rhodes could not objectively (or even subjectively) exemplify from my comments or objectively specify either "heated" or "below our standards" when asked -- or when asked where W.H.Y.S. posts such definitions and policy standards.

The King David Hotel bombing (July 22, 1946) was a bomb attack against the British Mandate government of Palestine and its armed forces by members of the Irgun, a militant Zionist organization, which was led at the time by Menachem Begin, a future Prime Minister of Israel.
Members of the Irgun, commanded by Yosef Avni and Yisrael Levi [1] and dressed as 'Arabs' and as the Hotel's distinctive Sudanese waiters, planted a bomb in the basement of the King David Hotel in Jerusalem, part of which was being used as the base for the Mandate Secretariat, the British military headquarters and a branch of the police Criminal Investigation Division. The ensuing explosion caused the collapse of the south-western corner of the southern wing of the hotel. 91 people were killed, most of them staff of the secretariat and the hotel: 28 British, 41 Arab, 17 Jewish, and 5 others. Around 45 people were injured. Some of the deaths and injuries occurred in the road outside the hotel and in adjacent buildings.
The attack on the hotel was the deadliest attack against the British in the history of the Mandate and is often credited as being a major factor in the British decision to relinquish the Mandate. If classed as terrorism, the attack was the most cowardly & deadliest of that kind anywhere in the world.
Prime Minister Clement Attlee commented on the attack to the House of Commons:
Hon. Members will have learned with horror of the brutal and murderous crime committed yesterday in Jerusalem. Of all the outrages which have occurred in Palestine against the Arabs, and they have been many and horrible in the last few months, this is the worst. By this insane act of terrorism 93 innocent people have been killed or are missing in the ruins. The latest figures of casualties are 41 dead, 52 missing and 53 injured. I have no further information at present beyond what is contained in the following official report received from Jerusalem:
"It appears that after exploding a bomb in the street, presumably as a diversionary measure — this did virtually no damage — a lorry drove up to the tradesmen's entrance of the King David Hotel and the occupants, after holding up the staff at pistol point, entered the kitchen premises carrying a number of milk cans. At some stage of the proceedings, they shot and seriously wounded a British soldier who attempted to interfere with them. All available information so far is to the effect that they were Jews. Somewhere in the basement of the hotel they planted bombs which went off shortly afterwards. They appear to have made good their escape."
The Zionist Irgun issued an initial statement accepting responsibility for the attack, blaming the British for the deaths due to failure to respond to the warning and mourning only the Jewish victims. A year later, on July 22, 1947, they issued a new statement saying that they were acting on instructions from "a letter from the headquarters of the United Resistance, demanding that we carry out an attack on the British at the King David Hotel as soon as possible."

The Nazis hatched plans for a Fourth Reich by planting sleeper cells in post-war Europe to destabilise governments, secret MI5 files show.
The plan was so the Nazi party could, in time, reappear in a suitable disguise and build up a fourth Reich

A Zionist terrorist planned to assassinate Winston Churchill in order to secure a Jewish state, MI5 records show.
Eliyahu Bet-Zuri suggested sending agents of the Stern Gang, a terrorist group dedicated to forcing the British out of Palestine, to London to kill the prime minister.
MI5 was concerned that Jewish extremists might try to assassinate other leading British politicians, in particular the post-war foreign secretary Ernest Bevin, files released to the National Archives reveal.
Major James Robertson, from the agency's Middle East section, said threats made by Bet-Zuri in November 1944 were disclosed by another member of the Stern Gang who was arrested in April 1945.
The suspect revealed: "As soon as he [Bet-Zuri] returned to Stern Group headquarters he proposed to suggest a plan for the assassination of highly placed British political personalities, including Mr Churchill, for which purpose emissaries should be sent to London."
But Maj Robertson noted: "The above information does not, as you will see, amount to very much.
"It does, however, I think justify us in assuming that the danger of attempts on the lives of important people here is still one which we must reckon carefully."
Bet-Zuri was hanged in 1945 for murdering Lord Moyne, the UK's minister resident in the Middle East and a close friend of Churchill, in Cairo in November 1944.
After the Second World War there was a sharp rise in Zionist terrorism in Palestine, which was still administered by Britain, in an attempt to put pressure on Clement Attlee's Labour government to create a Jewish state.
In February 1946 the British defence security officer in Palestine sent a secret coded telegram back to London revealing intelligence from "reliable sources" about a plot to kill British ministers.
He wrote: "Stern Group are training members to go to England to assassinate members of His Majesty's Government, especially Mr Bevin...
"Stern further reported to be receiving practical sympathy from important Jews (in) Palestine. A steady flow of recruits for Stern being received in this connection."
In June that year Maj Robertson told Scotland Yard's Special Branch of reports that a recent surge in terrorist activity in Palestine was partly down to a speech made by Bevin in Bournemouth.
He wrote: "This speech is stated to have caused considerable bitterness among the Jewish community in Palestine. A typical Jewish 'man in the street', for example, described the speech as the most anti-Semitic ever delivered by a British statesman."
Fears were heightened in July 1946 when Jewish resistance group Irgun bombed the King David Hotel, the main British administrative centre in Jerusalem, killing 91 people.
The next day MI5 raised concerns about the possibility of Bevin being murdered if he went ahead with plans to visit Egypt to sign a treaty.
A memo noted: "There would obviously be considerable danger of an attempt on his life, either by parties opposed to the treaty or by the Irgun or Stern...
"The fact was that if a fanatic intended to carry out an assassination and was prepared to disregard his own safety there would be very little that he could not do."
And a secret telegram sent to MI5 from Security Intelligence Middle East warned: "Likelihood of terrorist attack on foreign secretary during proposed visit to Egypt is almost household word in Middle East."
