Chris exaggerates, the monarchy in Britain has been corrupted to a greater or lesser extent since the mid 1600s, the English Civil War.
That's not to say previous monarchs were all saints, but the latest lot from Germany don't really care about the people any more.
Indeed they might even despise us.
Particularly dislike independent minded ordinary people.
