Morgan of the Irish 9/11 Truth Movement has sent us this, including the great poster attached. Please publicise it.
There are plans afoot to share cars to travel from London and from Bristol to this event. I've not heard news about interest from other parts of Britain. It will be a chance not only to meet the movement in Ireland, but also leading US researchers. Please let me know if you're thinking of going and would like to travel with others. We shall also need to let the Irish group know in advance and soon about our accommodation needs.
Truthful greetings
Noel
All,
Please find attached Conference Flyer/Poster and please feel free to distribute as widely as possible both offline (office/home) and online (email/websites).
Tickets will be available to purchase for both the Conference (20) and Jamboree (15) from www.halfmoontheatre.ie in the next few days.
Thanks,
Morgan.
P.S. In relation to the article on www.TomFlocco.com '5 Mossad agents arrested in foiled NYC subway plot' we should have noted that at 5am on Saturday morning (Irish time)the LEAD story on the NY Times website was that 3 middle-eastern men (suspected 'Al Queda') had been detained in New York. Less than a half hour later this story had completely disappeared. Note, not corrected, disappeared. It would appear that somebody somewhere does not want us to know that people were detained.
Shades of NYT circa 1996 when the paper first reported that TWA Flight 800 was downed by explosives, only for that to be withdrawn before the first print run to be replaced by a 'mechanical failure' explanation.

Someone has pointed out it's not very clear where in Ireland this conference is; it's in CORK.

Hey Noel,
That's cool - I'll be able to put up some but for those that I can't this is probably the best and cheapest option - it's also directly accross the road from UCC. You might distribute this too.
Cheers, M.

I think this demonstrates that there is an Irish 911 truth movement and it is not part of us.

Dear Alan
This indicates there is an autonomous group of people in southwest Ireland who have organised an event, in the same way as autonomous groups in Blackpool, Bristol, Oxford, Cumbria and Brighton have organised events. At the G8 in Scotland we worked closely with these people and they were represented at our conference last month. They have continually asked to be closely associated with us.
I don't understand why you think the decisions about where to draw state boundaries taken by long dead politicians in the wake of the First World War should be used to stop these people from associating with us in the way that they want to. We are not a governmental organisation. We are a loose network of freely associating groups and individuals. If the 911 truth campaigners who inhabit the English-speaking archipelago off the northwest coast of Europe want to associate freely with one another, why should you or I attempt to stop them?

Everyone can do what they like.
Irish people are vigorously aware that they have been under English, then British, colonialism for 800 years, and are still not wholly free. They want no more.

Maybe we have different models in our heads about how this 911 truth network works. If you see it as a pyramid directed from the top there might be a case for the Irish saying it embodied British or English imperialism, but as it stands there is no central direction. An inverted pyramid might be a better way of looking at it, in which the various groups delegate responsibility for co-ordination across the region to a committee or steering group which they elect. The committee doesn't tell the constituent groups of the network what to do; rather they tell the committee what they want done and the committee has to work it out to best serve the needs of the groups and all the supporters.
That doesn't sound like imperialism to me, but should the Irish or any other constituent part of this network decide that the the committee was behaving autocratically towards them, they could merely ignore the diktats of the commitee and do their own thing.
At the moment the Irish say they want to associate with us. Who are we in south London to tell them they mustn't because that would be imperialistic? Why don't you come to the event in Cork on the 12th, Alan, and sort it out with the Irish? I'm sure they'll charm you
Noel
