Makes a bit of a difference to when he spoke in a hall in London, and a hoax fire alarm emtied the building (only temporarily - RG went on to give a well-received masterful talk after the Fire Brigade gave the 'all clear'.

He touches on a huge elevator renewal that would have given access to the core areas for planting of explosives and the need to look at the security companies (wasnt that Bush,s relative)

Yes, I meant to mention that - it was the first I'd heard of it. A very important point. Clearly an excellent opportunity to plant the Thermate and explosives.

They knew right away that this event was developing into something bigger than they could handle. The ACE team along with others that had gathered in the lobby to help were instructed by city emergency personnel to get out of the building and safely away from the complex. Shortly thereafter, the towers collapsed. By the grace of God, all ACE personnel made it to safety and were unharmed. |
Interestingly this article makes no mention of the WTC7 collapse...

Then we saw the south tower collapse. We were all sick, words cannot describe how we felt. We went back into the machine room for a moment to start collecting our gear and then we turned to see the north tower collapse. It went down in two stages as far as we could see. We were watching the antenna as a gauge. It went down, stalled for a few seconds, and then continued. |

For example, Chris Young, a 33-year-old temporary worker, escaped on his own a few feet from the fire department's command post in the north tower just five minutes before the building collapsed. He had twice reported his location via intercom. And passengers who escaped from an adjacent elevator told firefighters they had spoken to the trapped man. He was able to open the doors only when the power failed and the motor holding the doors shut stopped working."
