Well the perpetrators have blown that, 1% ??
As to the list of names, are we to dismiss arguments based on who it was that spoke them? no, it is the argument itself backed by if not verifiable evidence, clarity of reason. We should not accept opinion on face value nor should we close our minds to information due to paranoia regarding who has or hasn't got an ulterior motive.
If there is need for labels to determine which end of the spectrum people are coming from then nobody can be trusted. And if nobody can be trusted we may as well accept authorities portrayal of events as being as good as any.
