GOD FORBID - post new song "The Rain" at MySpace; footage from the studio online! 05.12.2008
New Jersey metal titans GOD FORBID have posted a new song, “The Rain”, on their MySpace page http://www.myspace.com/godforbid. The track comes off the group’s new album, “Earthsblood”, which will be released via Century Media Records on February 16th, 2009 in Europe and February 24th, 2009 in the US.
Regarding the album’s title, Doc Coyle states:
“The title “Earthsblood” came to me after watching the film “There Will Be Blood”. What is the price of ambition? Is the blood of our bodies and the blood of the earth one and the same? With the current energy crisis, and its relation to many of the military conflicts worldwide, there has been a global, collective consciousness that has emerged in regards to the interdependence between humankind and the planet in which we inhabit. Coincidentally, the lyrics that Byron Davis and Dallas Coyle had written meshed with these revelations perfectly. This isn’t a preachy, trendy, “hip-to-be-green” album, nor is it a concept album. It’s just an abstract observation.”
“Earthsblood” was produced by Eric Rachel (Atreyu) with Christian Olde Wolbers (Fear Factory, Threat Signal) handling all vocal tracking. The mixing was handled by Jens Bogren (Opeth, Soilwork, Amon Amarth).
Video footage from the “Earthsblood” recording sessions can be viewed at the links given below (courtesy of MetalInjection.net):
Justin Broadrick & Kevin Martin met whilst sharing tours with God & Godflesh. Discovering their shared tastes for musical extremes, abusing electronics & having been baptized by anarcho punk, they formed Techno Animal in 1991. As Techno Animal the pair have mutated & fragmented into various experimental side projects (The Sidewinder, Sub Species, White Viper & Eraser), which have periodically mashed up Techno, Jungle, Dub & Hip Hop. But it was by touring with Alec Empire that Curse of the Golden Vampire was born. Having released one album as a trio with Mr.Empire, on the latter's own Digital Hardcore label (that also featured guest appearance from Anti Pop's Beans) in 1998, Broadrick & Martin have now decided to go it alone. 'Mass Destruction' is the result of their mission to fuse the energy of Napalm Death's anarcho thrash with the Amen break attack of No-U-Turn & the incendiary fire of free jazz. Death Jungle, Scum'n'Bass? Call it what you like... this album manages to incorporate every uncompromising element the duo have ever incorporated into their past sonic endeavors, but still manages to capture something totally fresh & relentlessly intense. Drawing on the inspiration of their earliest obsession with Discharge & Crass, Curse Of the Golden Vampire turn up the heat with startling state of the art production techniques & uncompromisingly nihilistic sentiments. As hardcore as music can get, this electrical storm is the pair's most extreme work yet.

Sound Affects: Music reviews and ratings
PopMatters.com (MCT)
The Bug: "London Zoo" (Ninja Tune) (rating: 9)
A long time partner of Godflesh and Jesu's Justin Broadrick (in God, Ice, the Sidewinder, Curse of the Golden Vampire and Techno Animal), Kevin Martin cradled obsessive talents for years under collaborative projects, all secretly his babies, but found in his Bug project a rare calling within dancehall and the raw blueprint for what would one day be called dubstep. The Bug is terminal. It lays off the dub-poetry-laden side of Pressure on London Zoo, but it heightens the zero hour terror of what exactly it means to be (barely) alive in Summer of 2008, the shuffling and volatile heartbeat of history ready to rain down distress from every corner. Martin shines floodlights in those corners, revealing a barefaced volatility as palpable as that found on Dre's "The Chronic" (recorded mere weeks after the LA riots). His Jamaican-by-way-of-England guest MCs splatter "London Zoo's" canvas with blood, vitriol, and plangent dystopianist alarmism. Martin himself scores the mayhem with machine gun jolts, ominous tolling bells, murky sub-bass, and reverberating dystopianist alarm clocks, from the 8-bit bleeper to the seizure-stuttering variety. The Bug is viral. Even though the MCs inked their own diatribes independent of one another for separate sessions, occasionally even in direct discord with one another thematically, the individual tracks still piece together like snap-puzzle components, as if they were each tapping into the same conversation, the same synaptic nerve of the collective unconscious. The Bug is infectious. It's a vision of a world gripped by prepossessed fear and hatred, as if by a "rage" outbreak. It's also packed with full-on soundboy contagions of propulsive beats and lyrical hooks, enjoyable as much as a ghettoblaster that scares the neighborhood children, a paranoid headphone chin-scratcher guaranteed to bring about a case of stoned inertia creeps. _ Timothy Gabriele

He was also featured as a special guest performer along with M-1 of Dead Prez at the 2008 People's Peace Conference at Rutgers University Law School in Newark, NJ.
In 2007 he made a presentation about the importance of political music at The Green Party of The United States’ Convention in Reading, PA, which also featured 2008 Green Party Presidential Nominee Cynthia McKinney and Ralph Nader. In November of 2007 Tha Truth performed at the ISO Conference at Columbia University in NYC. In late 2008 Tha Truth dropped his third CD "Tha People's Music."
"Tha People's Music" was heavily inspired by Howard Zinn's classic book "A People's History of the United States (from 1492 to Present)". On this CD Tha Truth sums up the suppressed, real history of the United States from 1492 to 2008 in just two songs!
Throughout the project Tha Truth alerts listeners to the most critical issues occuring throughout the US and the world. Through his complex rhyme patterns he describes how these issues go back through time, and specific ways to take action to fix them. Tha Truth takes on the death penalty, immigrant rights, bigotry, the prison industrial complex, U.S. healthcare, police brutality, Hurricane Katrina, NAFTA, military recruitment, US foreign policy/empire, and so much more.
Tha Truth has shown once again with "Tha People's Music" that he is one of the few artists presenting what his name entails. As he did on his last release, he again shows his skill at educating an audience while sacrificing nothing musically.
In a time where most musicians drone on apathetically about trivial and unoriginal subject matter, Tha Truth represents a breath of fresh air; he is an artist in every sense of the word. Utilizing originality, creativity, and a desire to use his talent to move the world in a better direction, Tha Truth is a rapper one ignores at their own risk.
When it was conceived, hip hop gave a voice to the voiceless on the streets of New York City. Tha Truth's music continues the tradition in providing a voice representing another side... the side often ignored in the media's agenda and the government's spin. Put simply, Tha Truth makes the case that to be politically neutral or uninterested is to condone what is taking place in the world.

“The more you tighten your grip, the more Star Systems will slip through your fingers.”
Last year, new project The Bombs Of Enduring Freedom was founded by J. Fogarty (formerly of experimental metal project Ewigkeit and also head of multi-media project Blacksmoke's music operations) to create industrial metal audio reports from the modern age of 'terrorism'.
Almost 12 months after the limited edition self-titled debut album was released via Death To Music productions, a new offering is now available to pre-order. Due for release on the 23rd of September, the 'Kalashnikovs and Car Bombs' limited edition EP experience will help to explore your thoughts on the carnage of a New American Century even further.
Set to the musical backdrop and rhythmn of the urban sprawl in which it is all written and recorded (also known as The Council Flat Of Mass Destruction - which also serves as Death To Music's headquarters of operations), and described by Digby Pearson of Earache records as thus ; "amazing politico Drum n Bass metal", it's set to be one of the most interesting and equally most unknown metal releases of the next 2000 years (give or take a decade or two and wholly dependent on wether the second coming occurs or not).
You can now pre-order your copy of this limited edition 6 track EP directly from Death To Music productions for the 'credit-crunch busting' price of £6.65 which includes postage worldwide - all profits go towards funding the 'Campaign For Artistic Freedom' and help Death To Music to keep running.
Track Listing ;
1. Insurgents in Dub (intro)
2. Home Grown Terror (listen at myspace)
3. Baghdad (listen at myspace)
4. Protect and Survive
5. 2 State Revolution

Time to remember the Atrocity of Gulf War 1 in this 2000 supreme electronica release!
Every Truther should hold a copy, it is a decumentry for UKs Channel 4/BBC that was not aired! No suprises there hen ha?
In April 1999 Grant Wakefield and Miriam Ryle travelled to Iraq intending to update Ryle's 1994 documentary 'Voices From Iraq'. They shot footage of the life in and around Baghdad, and filmed several interviews (including one with the United Nations Humanitarian Coordinator for Iraq, Hans Von Sponeck). On their return they offered the unedited footage to BBC and Channel 4. It was refused. Upon this, Grant Wakefield searched for another way to share the collected material with the public and decided to make an audio CD. The documentary tells the story of Iraq, and its appointed role in the geopolitics of the West, from the colonial times at the beginning of the 20th century, till the period of the embargo at the end of the nineties. The documentary consists of three parts: part one 'Plans'; part two 'The Fire Comes'; and part three 'One Nation Under A Seige'.

Grant Wakefield - The Fire This Time (Audio CD - Deconstructing Gulf War I)
Two decades after inventing grindcore, with their latest album “Time Waits For No Slave” NAPALM DEATH continue to demonstrate that their work is far from done and that their art is now more relevant than ever. The band has now finished filming the first video for the new album, vocalist Barney comments:
“We have shot a new video for “Time Waits For No Slave” this week and it encompass all the features of a dour, sterile, product-driven world and the sheer joy of freeing up your mind and appreciating the simplicity of the world evolving around you rather than flogging yourself to death all the time to get ahead. It’s being done in Norwich (Eastern UK) with Tom Blyth, who you might not have heard of. But he was in a really old UK hardcore band called Goober Patrol. We saw his work and he really seems to understand the art of protest without the cheesiness or cliché. We look forward to seeing you all soon.”

THE BOMBS OF ENDURING FREEDOM - What Time Is Art ?
(Video and FREE download 'single')
DTM043
James Fogarty finds an aboandoned picture belonging to British Artist James Cauty. The picture is cut into 140 pieces because the walls of the Council Flat of Mass Destruction are too small to put it on the wall. A tongue in cheek version of the acid house classic 'What Time Is Love ?' is re-recorded and redubbed 'What Time Is Art ?', and is released in conjunction with THE place for KLF / K - Foundation / Cauty &* Drummond obsessives www.KLF.de - the entire bizarre 'piece' of 'Not Art' work is documented for posterity.
Perhaps the pieces will be sold as limted edition rustic KLF coffe table coasters, but we are as yet unsure... What is certain is tha THE BOMBS OF ENDURING FREEDOM are currently holed up putting the finishing touches to their next EP which centres around the Credit Crunch - as such, this will be a totally FREE release to all the totally skint / brassic / poor folks who love to listen to noisy music. It is called 'Bomb The Bank' and is designed to instigate civil unrest at a blogging level... _________________ 'Come and see the violence inherent in the system.

Now, I wanted to pass on these clips to All of you, hoping you'll spread them around, exposing through music is the idea, and anyone having good exposing pictures themselves or knowing where to find real good ones, are most welcome to let me know, cause I could use a new load of good pictures )

The Bombs Of Enduring Freedom have finally given us the files for the much anticipated free EP 'Bomb The Bank' for y'all to download. They want you to smash up your nearest and dearest ATM machine for the general good of mankind and to teach those banker rotters a needed lesson. Okay - it wont actually be the bankers cleaning it up - but you get the message. Start a riot or something. Just make sure you listen to the absolute classic Industrial / Dubstep track "Civil Unrest' first !
DEATH TO MUSIC productions is the new "anti record label" media collective based in various locations, known only as "The D.T.M Forward Attack Sqaudron".
All files are prepared by the "Forward Attack Sqaudron", and then uploaded from an old computer which runs un-manned, 24hours a day at the "Council-Flat of Mass Destruction" - a secret location based somewhere amid the suburbs of the drug-death capital of the UK (Brighton).
Founded in 2007, we are slowly expanding into a collective of molested muscians, agrevated artists, destructionist DJs and, in general, all-round *-up and *-off creative types.
We specialise in releasing high-quality music either for free, or as strictly limited edition CDs. We dont actually make any money - in fact, we make a point of NOT making any money. All funds raised are put directly back into the next product. Hand-to-mouth - Art for Art's sake.
This is to ensure our music is untainted by aspirations of commercial success, which ultimately leads to the downfall of all art and the crumbling of integrity. This, coupled with a strong emphasis on independence, individuality and intolerance to the illegal practices of 99% of record labels, DEATH TO MUSIC productions aims to circumvent the established routes of getting high quality music / art heard and seen. If you have got as far as reading this, then we've succeeded.
Our practices are unorthodox, and so are our "products".

Who is that corporation
Whatever named secret source

Who dominates all the world
And becomes King of all Kings

Who's leading the leaders
Who got all the might
Regulates the markets
Maybe masonic right?
Who's behind world bank
And dictates a world war
Judges about life and death
A world domination Corps?

Its been over 5 years since I released anything so I think its well overdue...What You Think?
This Project Im giving away is not just a MIX CD.
Its actually the follow up to my debut album, 'Gaberlunzie'. It was actually recorded at the same time as the first album but for some reason I havn't felt the need to release it until now.
I only released limited copies of 'Gaberlunzie' but still I know it travelled.
This time I want it to travel freely.
No restriction
No Cost
I only ask that people listen in return.

Fear Factory - Controlled Demolition (NEW ALBUM)
13 January 2010 — Fear Factory's Controlled Demolition song off the new album MECHANIZE out in 2010
Destroying lives of innocence, collateral dissonance
Malignant depravity
Faith based mob and their mentality
Bodies were falling, burning and screaming
Buildings collapsing, disintegrating
Hellfire scorching, blinding the sky
Descending like rain
You will believe this blood sacrifice
Life was the price for change
All to ...kill, dominate
All to kill, for control
A false flag conceals truth to sacrifice chosen few
Destruction, conspiracy,
An inside job done with efficiency
Bodies were falling, burning and screaming
Buildings collapsing, disintegrating
Hellfire scorching, blinding the sky
Descending like rain
You will believe this blood sacrifice
Life was the price for change
All to kill, dominate
All to kill, for control
Our fate lies in the hands of men
Their lies, our fate, our lives, the grave
A master plan of damnation
A controlled demolition
Hellfire scorching, blinding the sky
Descending like rain
You will believe this blood sacrifice
Life was the price for change
Our blood ...
