Hi all

I've just bought some t-shirts which simply say WTC7 on the front in bold writing.

I plan to wear them about town as much as possible, and be something of a walking advert.

Hopefully a few people might be intrigued as to what it means and look it up online or just ask me. Also, if any 9/11 Truthers see me, then hopefully they'll come up and say hello.

Frankly, I doubt if many of us walk around in "9/11 was an inside job" t-shirts in everyday life. So basically, I guess this is a more subtle way of spreading the message. These t-shirts are something that can be worn in 'polite company' so to speak.

The reason I chose WTC7 is that for me, it's the strongest piece of evidence of complicity, and it's also very short - easy to remember.

Anyhow. what do people think?

Did you buy a blank t-shirt and get the lettering done yourself?

Daft question I know. Rolling Eyes

What other ideas are there to put on a t-shirt?

A simple question?
A website address?

How about

"911 is a joke"

It was a Public Enemy song so you can always say it's a refence to them if someone gets offended by it, (and let's face it, people do!).

Hi Scuba
I went to a shop that does t-shirt printing - they supplied the t-shirts and did the printing.

Hi KBO
I did think of asking people if they'd like one, but then thought that everyone would want their own specific design, and that it'd be simpler for people to do their own. Most towns and cities have a company that prints on to t-shirts.

Hi James
I wanted to avoid referencing 9/11 directly, as I believe that once people know that that's what you're talking about, a whole series of subconscious 9/11 related trauma type memories prevent them from thinking objectively and critically about the events of that day. Whereas by just putting WTC7, because they don't know what it means, it's something that is 'safe' for them to digest.

I'm no psychologist or advertising expert, but I feel it's almost that in trying to 'market' "9/11 Truth", we have one of the most unpopular 'brands' ever. So if we just shout "9/11 was an inside job", people will switch off in the first instance, whereas if we gradually plug away, we might get somewhere. Maybe I'm being too cautious?

People are naturally curious, so it is a good start?

So did the printers ask? Very Happy

Hi Ian,

You deduce, correctly, I believe, that you would almost certainly be approached by like-minded souls. They would, of course, already share with you and we, a cognitive schema. In this schema, or mental terrain, the short alphanumeric code, or 'tag' wtc7 would trigger a response from the astute observer. I propose, in agreement with you, that this observer will more than likely broach the subject immediately. As a potent and meaningful symbol it is worldclass, and already world wide. This is the 'tag' of all time, the 'wtc7' colours. You mention your doubts about the 'Brand'. I propose that you are actually about to solve this matter, having right now introduced this notion of flying your colours. The solution will only begin to appear when a numerical mass of doubters are sufficient to force the issue of further and meaningful Inquiry. This may be that part, or phase of the 911 issue, where more and more people will adopt the attitude of “I’m a dissident, so deal with it.” And the more visible people are, the better. Now, conveniently, here is that message encoded and written as if shouted, yet remaining safely within the boundaries of acceptable sartorial as well as linguistic ‘demonstrations’. Otherwise put, it is still legal to brandish many innocuous ‘Brands’ by wearing logos and symbols about your person. Now, since wtc7 is more cultish than fashionable, it can remain safe from the whims of ‘trend setters’ and bleeding cutting-edge leaders of the pack. I think the ‘Brand’ has good prospects for the medium and long term. There is absolutely no financial input required or transactions involved, and no copywrite dilemnas to concern you.
Well done.

Cheers Al.

Ha! Not quite. Don't forget Mr. Jerf does'nt work at the weekend. I'm simply standing in. I should have mentioned that the other point which Ian alluded to is that it is preferable for the wtc7 shirts or headbands, notebook covers or hats to be emblazoned personally, rather than to rely on someone else to make the provision. This gesture should come from within, not be purchased or even gifted. Don't worry, as soon as Mr. Jerf appears I'll demonstrate the difference between he and I. Although the tone of the above might be construed as flippant or ironic this is not the idea I seek to convey. I sincerely envision a day soon when numerous wtc7'ers are to be seen in the streets of London, prepared to engage with one another right there on the stage which is this multi-cultural metropolis. By monday I shall have at least one for myself prepared.

cheers Al.

Thanks Alwun for your kind comments.

Scuba - unfortunately the t-shirt printer didn't ask - I suspect they get all sorts of weird and wonderful ideas for t-shirts, and proabbly get sick of asking what they all mean.

Incidentally, so far, the only person who asked me was my housemate, who already knows my views about 9/11. When he asked what the t-shirt meant, I described myself as a 'walking meme', which as a doctor and someone who's read Richard Dawkin's work, he quite liked.

I think that WTC7 has the possibility of becoming a meme of the 9/11 Truth Movement.

Perhaps on the other side ;

Sick of war ?
Sick of paying for it ?
Sick of the liars who start it ?

Plus a couple of small pics of DU foetuses, Bush, Blair ( dont forget Cameron) or victims/rubble etc

Shocking maybe. But we need people to wake the * up.
