Gonna put the link in my signature on the Loose Change forum and also at Operation 911 Freedom forum, both of which I would recommend checking out.

I'm seriously impressed with this one though guys, keep up the good work.

Kind Regards,

CrazyBlade

Why???

So they can watch people being called "c#nt" and told to "f#ck off" ???

So they can read about The Age of Aquarius and Water Healing, and get PM's from bizarroes? Sort this place out, then recommend it to your friends.

Bizarro?

Yes there are views expressed here that some will determine are bizarro, but how would you 'sort it out' exactly? Who and how would you suggest determines who is a 'bizarro' and whose views require sanitising and who is not a 'bizarro' and whose views can safely be broadcast more widely. Is it really the role of moderators to determine where such a line exists?

Insulting?

There are precious few insults flying around (especially in comparison to other forums where 9/11 is discussed). If there are persistent offenders I would like to know. Thanks

The General Forum is supposedly for 9/11 information, not extreme New Age theories. But it's your forum and you can organise it as you wish.

I work with kids who have "behavioural difficulties", so foul language is water off a duck's back to me, and I have no interest in fanning the flames by grassing up persistent offenders. It's just that the mods totally ignore this stuff. Perhaps they just don't read the posts or do occasional searches for abuse? Dunno. It's your ship.

And you're one of the filthy rodents.

Ignatz is abusing the terms of the sign up notice and his posts will be, at some point moved to critics corner.

Think of it this way, if it helps, it's a bit like smoking in a non-smoking area - the non-smokers really don't like it. So can you desist please?

Do you try using good language with the kids you work with? I tutor online with some kids who "have problems" and bad language isn't a problem - because we try and avoid it.

Fair point

I still say that relative many forums .......

But true enough PAT shouldn't have called ignatz a filthy rodent.

If Ignatz adopted a more respectful posting style he would probably find he gets insulted less. Although that doesn't excuse the insults it probably explains them.

KC, I'm not sure what your position is in relation to the campaign but given your thread about Ally's posting style on the Mark Thomas Forum I would be interested in your views on this thread

If Ignatz wasn't a liar supporting mass murderers he wouldn't get insulted at all. Why is he here?

Well they'll be half thought out at the mo as I've had a murderous day and now have a three year old shouting at me! But for starters, I'd be really wary of trying for celebrity endorsement. There are very few celebrities who come with only supporters, not detractors (can you imagine the damage the movement would suffer if Britney Spears or (heaven forfend) Gary Glitter voiced sympathy?).

No, movements such as these need to be by the people for the people. At least until you've got an enourmous ground swell behind you.

As for the campaign itself, I'd try and find out what the top three or four "conversion points" were and focus on them. Keep it calm, keep it rational and for Gods sake, make newcomers welcome! And you REALLY dont want people talking about Holgrams...

Treasure critics corner!! The cynics, baiters and trolls there are your greatest weapon. Check the threads, find out which ideas have the least number of angry respondants, there's your first in road. Find something with 500 responses and a flurry of insults and you know to keep that one to yerself ;)

I've met a couple of people in real life who derride the official line, both changed their minds after watching Loose Change (but for different reason!) so shoving a few copies of that into peoples palms may help too.

I realise there'll be plenty of hard core hologram supporters aadamant I'm an FBI plant for my recomending a moderate line, look at it as the difference bettwen the SWP and New Labour. 30 years ago, almost indistinguishable. Today, poles apart, but whereas one is still drinking beer and sandwhiches, the other rules the country. I'm not suggesting you sell out and bomb Turkmenistan, but if you're right, you need to get the message out there and stop squabbling amongst yourselves.

Personally I dont agree with the movement, but it'd embarras the Hell out of Heidi if you were right and I reckon thats a cause in itself!

Good luck!
