Hi guys,
Having recently returned home from University for the summer, imagine my happiness when I find my mum has subscribed to Sky+. Now I must confess I'm actually a bit fond of it - heavy metal being my favourite music, I find themusic channels quite helpful!
Anyway, I'm flicking through the channels and I come across 'EMTV' on channel 211, and the programme that was on at the time was 'Question Everything'. I'd discovered a gem.
If anyone has Sky then I highly suggest giving this a look - so far I've watched documentaries, lectures and interviews on topics ranging from HAARP, The New World Order, the effect of schools on creativity, letting go of material possessions, how central the theme of sun worship is to Christianity and other religions from myriad of figures such as David Icke and our own Ian Crane!
I did have a quick look for a website but couldn't find one...does anyone else watch this channel?

Thanks WyldeChylde, looks interesting.
Can I watch as I don't have Sky?
Edge Media Television is a platform for people to share alternative and suppressed viewpoints, we aim to air programming that is educational, thought provoking and enlightening and to show programmes that encourage intelligent discussion amongst intelligent people.
.
Thought I'd take a look at who was behind Edge Media Television, which has not been easy. I have no idea as yet who the CEO, Director or Chairman is. But the following speaks volumes:
Calls from cell phones vary. Calls last approx. 3 minutes. Callers must be over 16 and have permission from the bill payer. Prices correct at time of going to press.Service Provided by Premier Communications, PO Box 177, Chesham, HP5 1FL. +44 1926 8141432
I suspect that those who comment on 'truther' forums on the internet about how great Edge Media television is, are those with an interest in promoting it.
Lifecasting origins
Justin Kan speaking at Gnomedex in 2007
The original Justin.tv was a single channel featuring Justin Kan. Wearing a webcam attached to a baseball cap and streamed online via a laptop-backpack system designed by co-founder Kyle Vogt,[5] Kan decided he would wear the camera 24/7, and he began streaming continuous lmive video and audio at midnight March 19, 2007.[6]
The novelty of the concept attracted media attention, and Kan interviewed with Ann Curry on the Today Show (April 2, 2007), Tom Merritt on the first episode of CNET Live, Nightline (April 6, 2007) and World News Tonight (April 8, 2007). His lifecasting project has been compared to EDtv, Being John Malkovich, and The Truman Show.[7]

EMTV have just had to close through lack of money.
The BBC are still going strong.
What's your problem?

They've put the most serious questions about our world out via Murdoch television, particularly through On the Edge.
They in no way represent controlled opposition or scammers (they even managed a show with Andrew Johnson and Judy Wood who are voluble about controlled opposition)
Very sad in a way if we lose them - even though the audience might have been comparatively minute - at least they were there _________________ http://www.exopolitics-leeds.co.uk/introduction
For those of you who don't know me, I am a broadcast engineer who owned a television broadcast facility providing studio and transmission facilities to several Sky TV channels. A few years ago, I was fortunate enough to purchase an unused Sky TV channel, and decided to use the profits from my studio hire business to start a channel that discussed the issues not covered by the mainstream. I have NEVER been in business to make profits, as long as I can house and feed my family my drive has always been to provide the resources for other people to feed and house their families.
People think that TV is a BIG money business, and from the cost point of view it is, but unless you are a major broadcaster you can't generate the kind of revenues to sustain it as the whole of the TV advertising system is controlled by the majors, and it is structured in such a way that little broadcasters can't earn any revenues. Remember all that advertising we used to run? well we never earnt a single penny from it, actually worse than that - we ended up having to pay the advertising agency almost £20,000 for the privalage of showing those adverts - which is why we stopped showing mainstream adverts.
Unfortunately due to the recession, other areas of my business suffered and I was forced to sell a significant portion of the whole business to outside investors. This gave people who don't 'understand' control of Edge Media. I soon realised that these people had no interest in Edge Media for its message, and just saw it as an asset to be played and traded. I have spent the past six months trying to find a way to regain control of Edge Media, unfortunatly a deal was conducted without my knowledge to sell the 'Slot'. Indeed I only found out that this sale had happen by reading it on the internet - they didn't have the decency to tell me what had been done.
On the day we started Edge Media I said to Claire - "If all this channel ever does is open the eyes of one person, to see that the universe is so much more than beer and Eastenders, I will have achieved my Goal' - Something tells me there was allot more than one persons life has been affected by Edge Media. This project has cost my wife and I everything we had worked for over the past 20 years of marriage, our savings, our home, and our business but the satisfaction we have gained from knowing how its changed peoples lives is more than enough compensation.
Edge Media is NOT dead! and I will find a way to bring it back. This web site will NOT shut down, and over the next few weeks I will try and get the website updated with all the past shows, so they are available openly and freely to everybody. I encourage everybody to keep these forums alive and contribute their ideas to how we move forward.
I want to thank EVERYBODY who has been involved with Edge Media so far, Claire, Lauren & Jamie for making it happen in the first place, Abi, Widget, Nikki, Darren, Charlotte, Graham, and Sarah. All our fantastic presenters, Franky, Theo, Ross, Nick, Phil who gave up their time freely, our programme makers, Rich & Kerry at Richplanet, Eirre Investigations, Concious Media, Holistic Channel, and hundred's of others who made programmes. Finally the four men that inspired and encouraged me to do this in the first place. Ian R Crane, Marcus Allen (Nexus), David Hatcher Childress, and Red Ice Creations. I know I have forgotten loads of people, but I thank every one of you.
One last thing... why did I choose the nickname Arborata? Well an Arbortum is a botanical garden containing living collections of plants intended at least partly for scientific study. Edge Media is about planting seeds, feeding those seeds, watching them grow, and understanding the reasons for that growth. Keep growing!!!

The most interesting influence is David Hatcher Childress, who has been influenced by Richard Kieninger. David Childress lived at the Stelle Community in Illinois for a while, sister community to the Adelphi Community in Texas, set up by Richard Kieninger.
Richard Kieninger apparently wrote 'The Ultimate Frontier, The Adelphi Organisation' under a nom-de-plume.
Which all rather reminds me of Adelphi in London (1-11 John Adam St).

But not like this! Looks like a total sell out to me.
From soft to hard.... Edge Media's new owner.
Rumour has it that multimillionaire pornographer and barrister Paul Baxendale-Walker, otherwise known as Paul Chaplin has now bought Edge Media TV.

Paul Baxendale-Walker apparently also owns Bluebird Films who have their porn studios at Unit D, Gateway, 3 Davis Road, Chessington, Surrey, KT9 1TU.
No tax please, we're rich!

....One popular device was the "employee benefit trust".
Instead of paying bonuses or big salaries directly - which would incur income tax bills - the money would instead be paid through a trust, often offshore.
The trust would then forward the cash in the form of very long term, often interest-free loans. And with loans, there's no tax to pay.
These schemes were called "lend and forget".
The lawyer who claims to have come up with this device, Paul Baxendale-Walker, is proud of the service he offers clients.
"I'm actually helping to cure people of various ills, various cancers," says MR Baxendale-Walker. "Because tax is a cancer that will kill your business if it's not treated. So I see myself as a doctor too."
For HM Revenue and Customs, the latest wave of tax avoidance schemes was the last straw.
Often fiendishly complex, they nevertheless have a simple idea behind them. Accountancy firms sell "losses", to set against clients' incomes.
So with income apparently wiped out, there's no income tax to pay.
But here's the really clever part: the losses are purely artificial - so the clients keep all their income, yet have still avoided income tax bills........

Martin Summers on EMTV Sky Channel 200 at 8pm this evening.
Seems you have to pay £2.00 to watch him though.
I'm not sure if there's a web link but their forum is here
