I am attaching the minutes of the first planning meeting of Global Vision 2000 and New Civilisation which is focussing on the need for an Universal Paradigm shift. The significance and role of 9/11 political truths has been acknowledged as critical in terms of raising awareness and consciousness of what humanity is facing and what needs to be done in communities of collaboration.
Feedback is welcome and if any network or organisation is seriously interested in contributing to this consultative process by wishing to attend the next meeting on Saturday June 3rd this will be considered. It will take place at Friends House, Euston , London. Numbers attending is limited.

INTRODUCTION

In the introduction it was mentioned that post 9/11, 3/3, 7/7 as well as the so called Global War on Terrorism we are all faced with a new situation and political reality. We are witnessing a crisis of neoliberal free market economics and financial usurious global capitalism. There
appears also to be a linkage between the rise of Pax Americana, Fascist police states attacking civil liberties, spread of synthetic terrorism and rise of Islamophobia. Global Islam is linked to terrorism thus replacing the Red Menace of the post Cold War era with the Green Menace
at the start of the new Millenium. In this context there is an urgent need for network centric organisations to examine and explore the potential for cooperation and collaboration. There has to be a crossfertilisation of interlinked agendas- both from Muslim and nonMuslim perspectives.
The framework should be to develop a strategy based around an Alliance as opposed to a Clash of Civilisations. The battle is not between Democracy, Freedom and Liberty versus Tyranny/Axis
of Evil but between Falsehood,Injustice and Oppression against Truth,Justice and Liberation. In sum what we are talking about is no more and no less than an Universal Paradigm shift. Egos, mindsets,
current practices and modus operandi need to be reviewed otherwise ALL organisations will fail in realisation of their aims and the status quo will remain. This is unacceptable and we need to change and move forward in a different direction if we have humanity's interests at heart.

BRIEFINGS

Thereafter briefings were presented by each organisation on who they were and what they are doing in their respective fields.

COMMON THEMES

After this a brainstorming session took place on key themes which could be the basis for common concern, focus and debate.

1. There is a need for a new concept of empowerment and mass political education which needs to include money, social organisation and system tools.

2. There is a need for a new political language and discourse and advocacy of political truths.

3. There is a need for a systematic critique of Monetocracy and search for alternative currencies.

4. The paradigm shift requires effort to synthesise ideas and groups in systems thinking and the linkage of symptoms to causes.

5. The significance of identity based politics in an era of globalisation, blocs and the demise of the nation state

6. Need to address Islamophobia, the Global War on Terrorism and the New World Order.

7. Need to devise effective team design and group processes to develop communities of collaboration.
