This talk will provide an introduction to the generally ignored programs of Psychological Operations and Predictive Programming used by governments, militaries and intelligences groups in conjunction with the media and the education systems on populations at large.
Social engineering is a standard technique of creating, moulding and guiding views, perceptions and the identities of a target population to fit to a required social, economic or political agenda. These techniques are as old as civilization itself as social and political manipulations are the cornerstone of all minority-controlled populations. Advancing understandings in psychology and sociology have facilitated more efficient avenues of manipulation of the perceptions of individuals and populations by interested parties. Terms such as "perception management" and "consent engineering" highlight the mentality of governments, militaries and intelligences groups towards freethinking among populations. This talk highlights the use of 'Psychological Operations' by militaries and intelligences groups through the mainstream media around the world. Psychological Operations are at the heart of all long-term military strategy and are also at the cutting edge of classified research.
The controlling of populations by physical force is not only difficult, expensive and time-consuming but also it is inefficient and ineffective especially in an age of advance technology and understandings in psychology and sociology. Modern systems of control allow easier methods of harnessing a population's labour power. These include predictive programming and social engineering. Predictive programming is the creation or manipulation of a population's behaviour patterns to suit long term political, social, military and economic agendas. This talk looks at how methods of predictive programming have made populations content with their servitude.
