Australian election was rigged?

Without a doubt, the recent Australian election (of Julia Gillard) bears all the hallmarks of having been another rigged election - helped in no small degree by the role played in it by its ‘National Broadband Network’ (NBN).
Keeping in mind the role played by computers (e.g. the electronic voting system) in the rigged elections in many nations over the past few decades (America being the initiator/instigator of same), then surely one is entitled to suspect that said election above was, in effect, a rigged one?
And where better to start looking into this than by quoting the Times News’s very brief coverage of the matter from June 2010 to September 2010: “After she helped orchestrate a Labor Party coup that ousted Prime Minister Kevin Rudd on June 24, 2010, Gillard, 48, became Australia's first female PM. Tasked with rebuilding dwindling support for her party, she called snap elections just three weeks into office, hoping to benefit from her bounce in public opinion. But the Aug. 21 election proved inconclusive: neither Gillard's center-left government nor the Liberal-National coalition led by Tony Abbott were able to secure an outright majority.” [1].
For the next 17 days she was therefore forced to look elsewhere for support - which came from intriguing quarters: (a) Tony Windsor, a so-called ‘Independent’ MP., a pragmatic farmer, an ex-conservative and former state lawmaker who has represented the rural electorate of New England since 2001; (b) Rob Oakeshott, Another former state conservative lawmaker who had dumped his party - and had represented a coastal seat north of Sydney since winning a 2008 by-election; (c) Andrew Wilkie: another ‘Independent’ MP - from Tasmania - and a former government intelligence analyst who quit his job before the Iraq war in 2003, and then went public with his concerns about the reasons for the war. 48 years old, he had unsuccessfully run for national parliament twice before for the Green Party; and (d) Adam Bandt: former barrister who became the Green Party's only lower house MP, winning the seat of Melbourne from the ruling Labor Party. Bandt has said he will side with Labor in the event of a hung parliament. The Greens support Labor's plan to build a national broadband network. [2]
Independents Tony Windsor and Rob Oakeshott broke Australia's political deadlock by agreeing to back Julia Gillard in a Labor minority government - Windsor adding that Labor's National Broadband Network (NBN), and position on climate change were major factors in his decision. Oakeshott and Windsor were joined by the Independent Andrew Wilkie and the Greens Adam Band, who also pledged their support for a Labor minority government. Result?: Gillard wins by a 76 to 74 seats majority [3] (thus creating what is, in effect, a coalition government - shades of the coalition government of the recently formed British Government - to say nothing of the many other similar elections of other nations!)
Intriguingly, Parliament is unlikely to sit for several weeks until the results from the election are finalised by the Australian Election Commission and the writs are returned. [4]
