US harbours terrorist
ex-cia operative and convicted terrorist Lluis Posada Carriles went on trial in texas charged with immigration fraud.
A federal prosecutor told jurors that mr posada who was convicted in his absence by a venezuelan court for his role in bombing a cuban airliner in 1976 killed 73 people, 'can do anything he wants to the cuban regime'.
Mr possada had broken federal laws when he lied under oath while seeking US citizenship.
He faces 11 counts of perjury obstruction and naturalisatuion fraud.
He is accused of lying about his role in a string of 1997 bombings that rocked havana hotels and killed italian tourist fabio dicelmo.
