The londontruthaction.org Meetup group (http://meetup.com/londontruthaction) will be closing in the next few days.

This is not a decision that has been made lightly. The primary reason is that repeated attempts to reinvigorate the group by inviting members to get more involved with organising actions and events have largely been ignored.

The passion for 9/11 Justice that has made possible 100+ actions and events over the last 3 years will certainly continue - albeit under a different guise.

Obviously if you are interested in continuing the 11th actions and other outreach get in touch at londontruthaction@gmail.com

I would not call making "possible 100+ actions and events over the last 3 years" a negative influence myself. Of course if you feel able to improve on Gareth's approach to campaigning there is a vacuum waiting for you to fill it

Maybe Gareth has simply 'burnt out' and needs a break. Whatever it might be a good idea to pass on the network he has gathered to others in the capital so it can continue.
Gareth may feel able to carry on once he's had a break in which case he might appreciate the group still being in existence when he does.

2 reasons for me. 1stly lack of funds as trying to steer clear of unnecessarily funding the war machine and 2ndly the war on terror/freedom has morphed into something much bigger, I think we'd have better luck at home concentrating on the things that affect us all like theft of wealth, home grown tyranny and so on.
If people aren't awake to the 9/11 cover up by now, will they ever be??
In short 9/11 is only a small part of our greater battle imo

Or it might be more accurate to say that if people aren't awake to the 9/11 cover up by now, it is more likely they don't want to be. Psychologically, not thinking about it is a safe place to be.
