This is an interesting article and a perfectly reasonable argument from Syria
Does anyone have any evidence that challenges the UN's report. I remember at the time Isreal (Mossad) was in frame. Is there any hard evidence to support or refute Isreal's or Syria's involvement? |

The bit I found most interesting are these quotes taken from this article
"He said accusing Syria of having advance knowledge of the killing was tantamount to charging that U.S. officials knew about the September 11 attacks on America.
"We would have to point out accusations at the U.S. security organs as having been aware of terrorist attacks that were perpetrated in 9-11-2001," said al-Sharaa.
British Foreign Secretary Jack Straw was quick to respond to his comment, calling it "as the most grotesque and insensitive comparison.""
To my mind this is a very interesting development. Make no mistake the tension with Syria is not going to disappear any time soon. Syria is in affect setting down a perfectly reasonable marker by comparing the suspicions levelled at them with the suspicions of the US in relation to 9/11. This is a perfectly reasonable comparison, so why is it "grotesque and insensitive" exactly?
Does this make Syria a new voice supporting 9/11 truth? |

Ian,
It might be an idea if some of us 9/11 activists, possibly David and Annie as they are high profile, contact the Syrian Embassy and make an appointment to go and see them, ideally the Ambassador, and so give them a thorough no-nonsense briefing. Even if it was LIHOP rather than MIHOP that they were interested in, it would still be a very useful development.
Just a thought

Good idea, Justin why not, although I suspect they will have already heard of the 9/11 truth movement (the suspicions against US) or otherwise they probably would not have made the comparison

I gather our political lobbying group is already floating the idea of discreet discussions with certain embassies.
