Today’s Times reveals that South Yorkshire Police had detailed knowledge of how young girls were being groomed, pimped and sexually abused for more than a decade – yet nobody was prosecuted using this information.

In the past two years the Times has broken a string of child sexual abuse stories, highlighting how networks of men, usually of south Asian origin, were exploiting underage girls for sex in South Yorkshire and the Midlands. Hundreds of children are believed to have been exploited.

Young teenagers, many from troubled backgrounds or in care, were singled out for attention by local men, who would often act as a boyfriend. Over time, using drugs, alcohol, violence and the threat of abandonment, the girls would be coerced into having sex with their friends. In some cases girls were driven all over the country to be used for sex.

Now a cache of over 200 classified documents has been passed to the paper, revealing just how much police and child protection services knew about the abuse. They also reveal shocking incidents in which potential child exploitation was ignored by officers – and in many cases the victims were treated as the criminals.

In one such case, a 13-year-old was found by police with clothing in disarray, at 3am in a house with several men. She had been fed vodka by them. None of the men were questioned; she was arrested for being drunk and disorderly.

The files reveal multiple further cases where whole networks of abusers were identified by name, yet nobody was prosecuted.

The documents, which include research papers, case files, intelligence reports and correspondence between the police and social services, reveal that social services were concerned girls in care were being targeted for sexual abuse in Rotherham as long ago as 1996.

A report written a decade ago revealed there was ‘a great deal of data concerning the activities of these men’, including where girls were targeted and how they were ferried around to be used for sex. Yet, a later report noted, the feeling among the police was that if the girls would ‘help themselves’ by coming forward to give evidence against their abusers there was little the police could do.

No successful investigation into groups of sexual offenders in Rotherham was launched until 2009 – and several investigations since have failed.

All in all the Times’ work – led by their chief investigative reporter – is a fine example of dogged and unflinching journalism. It’s a disturbing tale that touches on a difficult issue – the treatment of young, vulnerable white girls by ethnic minority men. In less delicate hands it could have been prurient or inflammatory. As it stands, the Times has, unlike the police or social services, done the story justice.

And there are signs that what has been revealed so far may be the tip of the iceberg – the children’s commissioner is currently studying the issue and said in a preliminary report that a cautious estimate indicates that ’several thousand children nationally’ may be showing the signs of sexual exploitation, with abuse taking place across the country. Detailed findings will be released in November, offering the first nationwide snapshot into how widespread the horrific abuse revealed by the Times may be.

Asian sex gangs were able to groom, pimp and traffic girls across the UK for more than a decade while authorities failed to publicly acknowledge the problem was happening, confidential documents reveal today.

A dossier of internal police, social services and intelligence reports shows that agencies in South Yorkshire were aware that vulnerable girls were being abused, but a catalogue of alleged crimes were not prosecuted.

In one case, a white girl who was sexually abused by an Asian gang from the age of 12 was offered lessons in Urdu and Punjabi by her local council after her ordeal.

Hello Tony and Everyone,
The articles in the Times were indeed mind opening concerning Rotherham/Sheffield abuse of young girls in care. This was followed in quick succession with the report on Rochdale with exactly the same patterns. Then a few days later the Saville Story broke.

I must admit that at first I thought that it was unfortunate that the Saville story should break and take attention away from what I hold to be the more important cases of abuse. With the passing of the weeks the Saville case has developed into something very big and there is every chance it will spread into the same sort of areas as the Asian Gang stories.

The Times articles were very good, but I must admit I wasnt convinced about the line of reasoning as to why these cases of abuse had been covered up for so long and little or no action taken till of late.
The Times cited political correctness as the main reason with the police holding very poor values on girls in care being a secondary reason for the lack of action.

The second reason I think played a part, but its the first reason I hold issue with. It is my opinion that the police dont do political correctness when it comes to Asians or any other nationals. The only time they act on this issue is when someone offends one of them. Which is correct because no one should suffer abuse from anyone.

Then I started thinking and checking on figures relating to crime generally; and I discovered something at variance with the Times theory!
Where there was an incident involving Asian Men and white girls in the general community, the police acted very quickly, and arrests were made and successfull court action took place. The police certainly were not protecting the Asians because of PC in these cases. So what was different with girls in a care situation?

If its not the police, and not the Asians; and not just because of police attitudes towards these girls; then what is the difference? It has to be to do with the care homes themselves.

I started to look at something else paedophile activity. In the community and especially with your basic loner paedophile; the police response to any abuse was usually rapid and arrests made and people put in prison.
Which is exactly how it should be. But when one turns attention to the situation within childrens homes especially its very different.

They dont take much action at all. A good example of this would be in Islington in the 70s and 80s into the 90s. When a paedophile network was at work within 12 care homes in the borough. The labour council headed by Margaret Hodge took no action; social services did little and the police didnt act. Derek Sawyer who took over from Hodge as council leader in 1992 had associations with a known paedophile Derek Slaide; the latter sadly died before they could bring him to justice. Sawyer; like Hodge has done well big time and is know the London Boroughs representative on the Met police safety board.

People who made waves were sacked from positions; the whole thing was covered up. Like in The Hollie case there were powerfull people involved.
There is every possibility that the Islington Cell was providing children to people holding important positions in many areas of professional life.

So again I ask what is the difference between paedophiles in the community and those operating within the care home networks?
It has to be again something to do with the care homes.

The Asian Gangs are really of little importance; small time players.
They have taken advantage of the privatisation of Child Care in England with the coming of powerfull greedy fat cat equity companies who only care about profits and care for nothing else with the result in the fall of standards of care and supervision. It is estimated that around a thousand children and young girls in care are missing from homes of one sort or the other.

But the reason why the police keep out of it is because if they dug deeper they would undercover far worse than Asian gangs abusing white girls.
This is going on throughout the child home network.
These homes provide a regular supply of children; supply and demand to important cells; similar too those that Robert Green is investigating.
And we all know what happens to those who try to expose this dont we?

The involvement of social services is implied; or at least involves certain social workers and possibly heads of departments who are either a part of or workers for what I call the Sugar-Cells operating within the children home network. This is in turn connected to forced adoptions.
Anyone who reads Ian Joseph writings will understand the necessary links with these sugar-cells.
There is a lot of evil out there at work.


The all care industry in this country is a shambles because of growing privatisation. Everywhere you look there is abuse, neglect; whether this is in the care homes for the elderly; those mentally/emotionally disturbed/learning difficulties,etc. Look at the events at Winterbourne; its not in isolation believe me. I could put countless examples of terrible abuse in care homes for the elderly.
The state of care in NHS hospitals; and now the total mis-use of The Liverpool Care Pathway; where it has been revealed that the Health Care Trusts have been receiving money for meeting targets involving people they have put onto this end of life programme. Basically a programme of death. Some would say population reduction. People like Ian S Crane.
It is an illusion of care. The NHS is on the verge of becoming mostly private; its coming; no question of that.
The financial companies involved in this are powerfull; look at Southern Cross and look at the company that first bought it Blackstone; headed by Stephen Sachman. These are Bilden people and companies.
Its the involvement of the corporate state; what I called years ago State Capitalism; just a part of The New World Order.

The company that owns Care UK one of the biggest care home providers is in debt to the tune of £480 million. The equity companies are bleeding these companies they take over dry. The all care industry is in termoil.

Its now all about money and not care.
