Protest vigil – 5 years on from the end of Israel’s 2008/9 massacre in Gaza

The total number of trucks carrying exports from Gaza in 2013 was 182, according to UN OCHA. Before the siege began it was 250 every week. There is no wonder that poverty and unemployment are shockingly high.

In the week starting 31 December, no one was allowed to enter or leave Gaza via the Egyptian border.
