The good thing about this film is that it paints a pretty strong either/or conundrum.

Either

The NTSB is correct and JFK Jr never contacted the Martha's Vineyard tower when he reached the correct height to begin his landing procedures.

Or

The coastguard who stated once on TV that Kennedy contacted the tower at 9.38 (from memory - been a while since I've seen the film) was correct and the NTSB is lying.

Now I know it will be pretty shocking to all of us that an agency such as the NTSB would deliberately lie in an official accident report but what are the chances that the coastguard would be incorrect about such a thing and manage to be incorrect with the exact time that JFK Jr would have contacted the tower according to the radar?

Because if the NTSB had included the tower contact in the official report, even the toady journalists might have been asking why the search didn't start at first light at the spot where he called the tower - instead of the reluctant search and then the search across the whole possible area of his flightpath. And given his radar record was available well before first light, the authorities really seemed to go out of their way not to search for JFK Jr. I wonder why that would be?

According to government whistleblower Sherman Skolnick, JFK Jr. planned to reveal a well-kept secret that on or about August 1, 1999, JFK JR. WAS TO ANNOUNCE HE WAS RUNNING FOR PRESIDENT as a traditional Democrat or in view of the distrust of both parties, to run as a independent on a third party ticket. John F. Kennedy, Jr., made one grave mistake. He trusted the presidential campaign officials of Albert Gore, Jr. to know about his plans. That would have interfered with the plans of Gore as well as George W. Bush, the Texas Governor.
The Gore campaign reportedly promised total secrecy, a pledge they never kept. Gore’s people had asked him if he would run as second fiddle on the Gore presidential ticket. He said he originally thought to run against Hillary Clinton for U.S. Senator from New York but decided instead to run for President. THE SECRET GOT OUT.
George W. Bush, likewise would most naturally have an interest in the demise of JFK Jr.. About three days before Johns plane took off and exploded in mid-air, Michael Harari, and another Mossad agent were seen with former President George H. W. Bush and his son, Texas Governor George W. Bush at the Essex County, New Jersey airport where John Jr. kept his plane.

This fact was also confirmed by separate U.S. intelligence sources who are also willing to testify before a grand jury. All four were positively identified by an aircraft mechanic and a maintenance worker. A coincidence? JFK Jr. was a captivating speaker and unlike other members of his family was unscarred by scandal. He would have most likely swept the field of Presidential candidates. Conservatives and liberals, both could join together to support him.
The FBI covered up the bombing of JFK Jr.’s plane. Skolnick obtained the details of the secret FBI report which was not to have been disclosed for 30 years. The National Transportation Safety Board, NTSB, released a report claiming the JFK Jr. plane crash was due to “pilot error”.
Over the years, the federal crash investigators have covered up several sabotaged plane crashes, for example, FLIGHT 800, and FLIGHT 587. John F. Kennedy, Jr. was murdered before he could get to his planned announcement of a presidential run. If he lived and ran for President, he would have been 40 years old just after the 2000 election. Excerpts from FEDERAL BUREAU OF INVESTIGATION REPORT ON THE RECOVERY OF PIPER SARATOGA AIRCRAFT OF JOHN F. KENNEDY, Jr.
1. No declassificatin until 7/22/2029.
2. This is in deference to the wishes of a senior member of the Kennedy family.
3. Also in deference to the order of the national government and in respect to certain foreign intelligence agencies having reciprocal agreements with the U.S.
4. POTUS order and national security findings attached.
5. The recovered aircraft shows evidence of an explosive device having been glued or affixed within the tail luggage compartment.
6. Device was apparently actuated by a barometric trigger. Radio signals not ruled out.
7. Tail of aircraft was dismembered from the plane making it front heavy.
8. Study of radar shows the plane fell in excess of 6,000 feet per minute up to radar cutoff.
9. Satellite images supplied by the National Reconnaissance Office record an outbursting flash from the aircraft just prior to it going into perpendicular descent.
10. Tail structure was dismembered just prior to descent.
11. Recovery of a piece of luggage from beyond the flight path of the aircraft correlates with it being hurtled out of the tail luggage compartment at outburst.
12. Preliminary examination of the aircraft shows residue of an explosive device the Laboratory identifies as being the type used by certain foreign intelligence agencies. Refer to POTUS order and findings.
13. Study of Air Traffic Control and other radio signals shows no Mayday report from the aircraft, explained by rapidity of descent.
14. Investigation and examination has been strictly compartmentalized.
A short, perfunctory examination of the recovered bodies was completed. Examination revealed that Carolyn Bessette Kennedy was in third trimester pregnant, the fetus a boy.

The four bodies were transferred to a senior member of the Kennedy family. The Bureau was not informed whether the bodies were actually cremated. Indirect advisories report that the bodies may have been shipped in untagged containers to foreign destinations. Reliable assets are to submit reports.
THE CONCLUSION: JFK Jr. was a qualified pilot, in control of his flight, flying a reasonably new aircraft, in excellent condition. Visibility was 8 miles. Wind: calm. All indication from forensics and physical evidence investigations lend themselves to a violent explosion from a BOMB PLACED ABOARD THE AIRCRAFT! The aircraft EXPLODED in mid-air, as evidenced by the eyewitness accounts, and the widespread debris gathered from the ocean and several different beaches, and the nature of collateral damage to recovered aircraft parts, and items on board such as the headrest, foot pedals, steering yoke carpeting and so fourth. All showed signs of violent damage, having been “ripped” or blown from their normal positions/locations. This could only have been caused by an ONBOARD EXPLOSION. Considering the nature of the current political atmosphere in America, and the before mentioned facts, there is little doubt that JFK Jr. was murdered. In all likelihood, it was a political assassination of the highest order, meant to alleviate a potential threat to the ruling elite.

John Fitzgerald Kennedy, Jr., was born on November 25, 1960, just a few weeks after his father and namesake was elected the 35th president of the United States. On his third birthday, "John-John" attended the funeral of his assassinated father and was photographed saluting his father's coffin in a famous and searing image. Along with his sister, Caroline, he was raised in Manhattan by his mother, Jacqueline. After graduating from Brown University and a very brief acting stint, he attended New York University Law School. He passed the bar on his third try and worked in New York as an assistant district attorney, winning all six of his cases. In 1995, he founded the political magazine George, which grew to have a circulation of more than 400,000. Unlike many others in his famous family, he never sought public office himself.

Always in the media spotlight, he was celebrated for the good looks that he inherited from his parents. In 1988, he was named the "Sexiest Man Alive" by People magazine. He was linked romantically with several celebrities, including the actress Daryl Hannah, whom he dated for five years. In September 1996, he married girlfriend Carolyn Bessette, a fashion publicist. The two shared an apartment in New York City, where Kennedy was often seen inline skating in public. Known for his adventurous nature, he nonetheless took pains to separate himself from the more self-destructive behavior of some of the other men in the Kennedy clan.

On July 16, 1999, however, with about 300 hours of flying experience, Kennedy took off from Essex County airport in New Jersey and flew his single-engine plane into a hazy, moonless night. He had turned down an offer by one of his flight instructors to accompany him, saying he "wanted to do it alone." To reach his destination of Martha's Vineyard, he would have to fly 200 miles--the final phase over a dark, hazy ocean--and inexperienced pilots can lose sight of the horizon under such conditions. Unable to see shore lights or other landmarks, Kennedy would have to depend on his instruments, but he had not qualified for a license to fly with instruments only. In addition, he was recovering from a broken ankle, which might have affected his ability to pilot his plane.

At Martha's Vineyard, Kennedy was to drop off his sister-in-law Lauren Bessette, one of his two passengers. From there, Kennedy and his wife, Carolyn, were to fly on to the Kennedy compound on Cape Cod's Hyannis Port for the marriage of Rory Kennedy, the youngest child of the late Robert F. Kennedy. The Piper Saratoga aircraft never made it to Martha's Vineyard. Radar data examined later showed the plane plummeting from 2,200 feet to 1,100 feet in a span of 14 seconds, a rate far beyond the aircraft's safe maximum. It then disappeared from the radar screen.

Kennedy's plane was reported missing by friends and family members, and an intensive rescue operation was launched by the Coast Guard, the navy, the air force, and civilians. After two days of searching, the thousands of people involved gave up hope of finding survivors and turned their efforts to recovering the wreckage of the aircraft and the bodies. Americans mourned the loss of the "crown prince" of one of the country's most admired families, a sadness that was especially poignant given the relentless string of tragedies that have haunted the Kennedy family over the years.

On July 21, navy divers recovered the bodies of JFK Jr., his wife, and sister-in-law from the wreckage of the plane, which was lying under 116 feet of water about eight miles off the Vineyard's shores. The next day, the cremated remains of the three were buried at sea during a ceremony on the USS Briscoe, a navy destroyer. A private mass for JFK Jr. and Carolyn was held on July 23 at the Church of St. Thomas More in Manhattan, where the late Jackie Kennedy Onassis worshipped. President Bill Clinton and his wife, Hillary Rodham Clinton, were among the 300 invited guests. The Kennedy family's surviving patriarch, Senator Edward M. Kennedy of Massachusetts, delivered a moving eulogy: "From the first day of his life, John seemed to belong not only to our family, but to the American family. He had a legacy, and he learned to treasure it. He was part of a legend, and he learned to live with it."

Investigators studying the wreckage of the Piper Saratoga found no problems with its mechanical or navigational systems. In their final report released in 2000, the National Transportation Safety Board concluded that the crash was caused by an inexperienced pilot who became disoriented in the dark and lost control.

There are two very interesting documentaries about William Colby on Y'Tube.
One is by his son, another is a long interview on C-Span.

From my complete guess, having watched other documentaries William Colby was in Vietnam since 1959, he had been their top OSS guy during WW2.

The skills he developed in that conflict were special forces guerrilla attacks. Dropped in behind enemy lines.

So Colby is something like Assistant Ambassador for Vietnam, which is his front. He's their to arm and train the South China to stop the advance of Communism.

Now part of this, means pretending to buddy up with the neighbors, his being the Prime Minister, the kids go to school together. They become friends and Colby introduces the Prime Minister to SAS style tactics.

The Prime Minister goes away with all the books etc. and comes back an expert. It sort of goes to his head a little. His brother though is the number two, the guy who filters information to the PM.

He finds out all about OSS style tactics, and goes a bit rogue. He goes after political prisoners and takes it out on some outspoken Buddhist monks.

Then we get one of the most iconic photos of the last century, the monk sitting down calmly as if to meditate, dousing himself in petrol and striking a match. One of those images that goes around the World very quickly.

So all hell is breaking loose, because of the attack on the monks, word gets back to LBJ that Colby was JFK's guy and he was furious they'd screwed the whole thing up.

There is a line he's supposed to have said, after he'd found out. Right now it's slipped my mind.

LBJ wasn't being played by Bush or anything like that? Well he might have been. Bush got Colby's old job, Colby was showing signs of maybe breaking the Chatham Rules, so a message had to be sent out to the others.

So the thing to look at would be Bush's movements during or around the monk assassinations, because clearly in the son's documentary we get some of the information, i.e. what they knew about their father, but not all the details, they don't know for sure his dad wasn't put to sleep by assassins.

There are stories about him wanting to go whistleblower, and he was going around the world talking to a lot of people during his retirement.

Colby had to take the flack via investigations into the CIA, for the short term he was CIA chief. I'm sure he's been there to take the flack and clear the path for Bush to take over.

Now the interesting thing is maybe to find out what the relationship between Bush and Colby might have been. Was Colby Bush's guy? Were the friends? Had they ever met?

SO this is how South Korea was over run. It's recorded in audio in another documentary. Three guys including Colby discussing whether or not they should have a coup, against their ally the South Korean Prime Minister and his son who apparently had the monks round up and shot.

They don't seem sure it would work, but Colby is very assured and they agree to do it.

The Coup, led to them losing the defenses to keep the North out, meaning also their was nobody left to fight. The US lost all there spy network of South Koreans and they had the secret special forces manuals for guerrilla warfare.

So US would need to go it alone, that to me would give reason for taking out JFK and i never thought that way before.

The communications between JFK and Colby would be recorded by the CIA and LBJ could easily be subverted by Bush, Cheney, Rumsfled etc.

Kissinger and Colby maybe didn't see eye to eye, with Colby being commanded to make clandestine meetings all the time. Quick, spontaneous and easy to miss-direct.

So i think a Bush double cross. Bush maybe missed the Congressional Hearings. That's something i've not looked into.

So, one guy goes a bit rogue, the public protest, they have a coup, the coup goes incredibly badly wrong, forcing the US into going it alone in Vietnam, with no Viatnamese spy network, one which Colby had actively set up, with differing levels of success.

So the question really is, "Did Bush miss-direct LBJ, to give the go ahead for the hit, and Bush put that into play, in the first step towards the CIA taking over the White House..
