Massive explosions have hit China's northern port city of Tianjin, leaving at least 17 people dead and hundreds more injured.

State media said the blasts happened in a warehouse storing "dangerous and chemical goods" in the port area of the city.

Pictures and video on social media showed flames lighting up the sky, and buildings are said to have collapsed.

Hospitals are reported to be overwhelmed with casualties.

The editor of the BBC's Chinese Service, Raymond Li, says all indications are that it is an industrial accident.

The Tianjin explosion, Natural News has learned, was waged as an act of “kinetic retaliation” by the Pentagon in response to China’s currency war Yuan devaluation. The Chinese government has put in placeunprecedented secrecy surrounding the mysterious explosion, and aggressive police state tactics are now being invoked to control the flow of information surrounding this event.

“Last week’s explosions sent massive fireballs into the sky and hurled burning debris across the industrial area at the world’s 10th-largest port, burning out buildings and shattering windows kilometres away,” reports the Daily Mail UK.

The Chinese government’s official explanation for the explosion, which has now killed 114 people, is a complete whitewash. China is going to declare regional martial law in the next 18 days, Natural News has learned, in order to exercise total control over the movement of people and information. The government has banned reporters from entering the area and has begun arresting bloggers who promote what the government calls “conspiracy theories” regarding the cause of the massive explosion.

China has blacked out reporting on Tianjin in exactly the same way the U.S. media blacked out reporting on Dr. William Thompson, the CDC whistleblower who admitted the CDC buried evidence linking vaccines to autism. In both China and the United States, when the government doesn’t want the citizens to know something, it censors the story across the entire state-run media, invoking “information totalitarianism.”

Immediately following the massive explosion, the Chinese government began flying “black helicopters” in formation across Beijing. Chinese dissidents took numerous photos of these helicopters and were able to deliver these exclusive pictures to Natural News:

TIANJIN, China – The son of a former police chief is one of two silent owners of the warehouse in Tianjin where explosions killed at least 114 people, and used his connections to help obtain licenses despite the hazmat facility violating safety rules, Chinese state media reported Wednesday.

The other owner is a former executive at a state-owned chemical company who also used his connections to smooth the way for approval for the facility, the official Xinhua News Agency said in a lengthy report on the warehouse company Ruihai International Logistics.

The report supports the common perception that well-connected private Chinese companies use personal relationships with people in the government to override rules, sometimes with disastrous consequences.

It also shed light on the murky ownership structure at Ruihai, which had been the source of rampant rumours of potential high-level connections and coverup since the Aug. 12 blasts, which also have left 65 missing and 674 in hospital.

The two men, identified as former Sinochem executive Yu Xuewei and the late Tianjin port police chief’s son, Dong Shexuan, are among 10 Ruihai company officials who have been detained in the investigation into the blast.

Dong said that Yu enlisted him into the company in 2012 because of his connections and that he was easily able to obtain a fire certificate for the hazmat business. “I brought all the materials for the renovation plans, and the fire certificate was soon issued,” Dong was quoted as saying.

The fire certificate apparently allowed local planning officials to issue a building permit, even though the hazmat warehouse would be less than the required 1,000 metres (yards) away from homes and public roads, a clear violation of state safety rules.

“We took into account that the fire certificate as issued by the fire division,” Zhu Liming, a planning official told Xinhua.

Dong said Ruhai also had to clear another seemingly impossible obstacle. A safety evaluation firm had told Ruihai that a satisfactory report was out of question because of the warehouse’s proximity to residential homes.

“But Yu Xuewei asked me not to worry, but leave it to him. So he changed the safety evaluation firm and got the report,” Dong told Xinhua.

Both Yu and Dong chose to be shadow owners. Yu asked his wife’s cousin to hold his 55 per cent share in Ruihai on his behalf, and Dong had a high school classmate claim his 45 per cent share.

It was not immediately clear why Yu wanted to camouflage his involvement, but Dong told Xinhua he did not want his father implicated in the business.

“The public perception may not be good, given my father’s position with the police,” Dong told Xinhua.

'As a followup to the Tianjin event, the following Google photo shows the outline of the crater superimposed on the last satellite image taken in May. One can easily see that there is no warehouse on this spot. In fact, there is no warehouse for some distance. Rather, the crater overlaps slightly onto a road.

Additionally, there are NO standard-size containers whatsoever in the crater area. The objects appear to be equipment. The containers themselves are situated away from the crater. The flammable materials reported were sodium cyanide, calcium carbide, ammonia nitrate and potassium nitrate. Even if properly situated on top of the crater (which they were not), these materials could not have created a 7.5-meter deep crater.

Applying some Holmesian logic here, I’m sticking to my theory that neither a warehouse nor a container conflagration caused the crater. Could there have been a storage tank underground? Possibly, but the Chinese are not fessing up if so. This eliminates the standard alternative theories to the kinetic-energy “rod from God” possibility.

The other theory of Chinese firefighters just showing up and dousing the containers containing known flammable chemicals with water is highly implausible. In what was clearly a Class C fire situation, firefighters use dry chemicals, such as alkaline halon extinguishing agents, or CO2 or foam, not water. Because of electricity considerations, firefighters always use water cautiously. The theory that firefighters “just didn’t know” chemicals were there is simply ludicrous.

Adding to the mystery is the presence of pyrophoric solids laying on the ground. This aspect has been completely ignored by crime-syndicate infested and controlled western MSM. Pyrophoric means it burns when doused with water as shown here. None of the flammable chemicals mentioned above are silver-gray colored metallic pyrophorics. Notable pyrophorics are uranium and plutonium. If the rod was tipped with depleted uranium dust that flared on impact, this functions like a hot tracer. This would be your enhanced-ignition effect. Could this be a fragment from the rod or rods?.....'

A huge explosion ripped through a chemical plant in eastern China, killing one person and injuring nine, Xinhua news agency said, less than two weeks after two deadly blasts destroyed a warehouse storing chemicals in the northeast.

The fire on Saturday night in Huantai in the eastern province of Shandong was put out after about five hours and authorities said no contamination has been detected, Xinhua said.

But the disaster is bound to raise more questions about safety standards in a country where industrial accidents are all too common following three decades of fast economic growth. A blast at an auto parts factory killed 75 people a year ago.

Windows shattered in the village where the blast occurred, state media said, and tremors could be felt 2 km (1 mile) away.

Some 150 fire fighters and 20 fire engines were sent to the scene.

The explosion destroyed a factory belonging to Runxing Chemical, a subsidiary of the Runxing Group with 200 million yuan ($31 million) in registered capital, Xinhua reported.

The factory produced adiponitrile, a colourless liquid that releases poisonous gases when it reacts with fire, according to Xinhua.

On August 12, two explosions at a warehouse storing dangerous chemicals devastated an industrial park in the northeastern port city of Tianjin, killing at least 121 people, including 67 fire fighters. More than 700 people were injured and thousands were evacuated because of the risk posed by chemicals stored at the site.

The Ministry of Public Security, China's police, said in a statement posted on its website that investigations into the Tianjin blasts were continuing and more time was needed before any conclusions could be reached.

Public anger against the government has surged in Tianjin among residents of apartments near the blasts who believed authorities neglected to police the firm, Tianjin Dongjiang Port Ruihai International Logistics, which owned the warehouse.

But for us survivors, our lives have to go on. We still need outside help and attention in order to get back on track. Even if you can’t help, please try to understand our predicament. We’re just common people trying to get back to normal.'
