This blanket approach isn't wise, why pick on an old women when the threat is young Muslims. The truth is since 911 all the bombers have been the same type, young Pakistani Muslim followers. Richard Reid was white, so was Timothy McVeigh. So was the London bomber a few years ago. It's wrong for Muslims to think police are anti Muslim. They aren't anti male in a rape case. The Muslim comment about criticising foreign policy instead of suicide bombers wasn't well timed. It's no good being told the threat is critical, we have to be told more. Critical is the highest level, we should be told to vary our transport route or business continuity plans. We should do more video conferences so we don't move about as much but there is none of this at all. I had to look at a Canadian web site to fill in the gaps. It's useful to listen to Willy Walsh at BA, he is very critical of BAA who run airports, he wants more police and soldiers. BAA were caught on the back foot. An attack is likely when the level is critical but we can't treat everyone the same. We should do what the Israelis have done for years, like it or not, I can't remember an Israeli airliner brought down.
