confused stories of a man stabbing people, police officer stabbed to death, a car being driven into at least 10 people along Westminster bridge, a women being rescued (possibly died) from the Thames. Very confusing unclear picture. _________________ JO911B.

Four people, including an armed police officer and a man believed to be the attacker, have died in a terrorist incident near the Houses of Parliament.
One of the victims was among several pedestrians hit by a car on Westminster Bridge, before it crashed.
An officer protecting Parliament was stabbed by an attacker, who was then shot by police.
At least 20 people were injured, including three other officers. The attacker has not yet been identified.
Acting Deputy Commissioner and head of counter terrorism at the Metropolitan Police, Mark Rowley, said a major investigation was under way into the "marauding terrorist attack".
He said the attack started shortly before 15:00 GMT when the car was driven over Westminster Bridge, hitting and injuring a number of members of the public and the three police officers, who were on their way back from a commendation ceremony.
Mr Rowley said after the car crashed, a man armed with the knife "continued the attack and tried to enter Parliament".
He said it was believed there was only one attacker, but "I am sure the public will understand us taking every precaution in locking down and searching the area as thoroughly as possible".
In latest developments:
Prime Minister Theresa May is chairing a meeting of the government's emergency Cobra committee
Earlier, a Downing Street spokesman said: "The thoughts of the PM and the government are with those killed and injured in this appalling incident, and with their families."
Westminster underground station was shut and remains open for interchange only
Home Secretary Amber Rudd urged everyone to remain calm but to be vigilant and if they see anything they were concerned about they should report it to the police
A group of French schoolchildren were also on the bridge and three were injured
13 students from Edge Hill University in Lancashire were also caught up in the incident - two were taken to hospital and described as walking wounded; two others had minor injuries
There are two casualty bureau numbers: 0800 056 0944 and 0207 158 0010 for people worried about family and friends, or eyewitnesses
Kings College Hospital says eight patients are being treated there - six male, and two female. Two are critical and two are stable
Around 1,000 people were taken to Westminster Abbey for safety and were then being processed by police
MPs were locked in the House of Commons for more than four hours and business suspended
Parliamentary authorities say both the House of Commons and Lords will sit at their usual times on Thursday
Over the following days there will be extra unarmed and armed officers on the streets of London
Witnesses say there was what appeared to be a warning shout and then the crack of three or four shots before the attacker fell to the floor.
Foreign Office minister Tobias Ellwood - a former Army officer whose brother died in the Bali terrorist bombing in 2002 - attempted mouth-to-mouth resuscitation of an injured police officer.

The incident outside Westminster is exactly the kind of scenario that security chiefs have been planning for.
It looks like the type of attack jihadis have wanted to carry out in Britain - namely attacking people with a vehicle and taking on the security forces with knives.
In the security services' jargon this is known as a "marauding attack" and is the hardest type of terrorist incident to predict and defend against. That means casualties, as we have seen in Nice and elsewhere, are inevitable.
But what matters just as much is how the police then respond.
Armed police at Parliament were able to stop the attacker. Within minutes, Westminster was flooded with more armed officers, including counter-terrorism specialists.
Inside Scotland Yard, teams of detectives began working on the next critical phase - establishing the suspect's movements, whether he acted alone and, in tandem with their colleagues on the street, making sure London is as secure as it can be in light of these awful events.
Westminster remains locked down and it will remain so until Scotland Yard is certain the threat has been contained.
As Parliament was put into lockdown, MPs said they were told to stay inside their offices.
The White House said later that Mrs May had spoken to President Donald Trump about the attack.
'Screams and commotion'
Press Association political editor Andrew Woodcock witnessed the scenes unfolding from his office window overlooking New Palace Yard.

He wrote: "A car on Westminster Bridge has just mowed down at least 5 people."

A policeman points a gun at a man on the floor (top) while emergency services attend him and a police officer (bottom) outside the Palace of Westminster, London, after policeman was stabbed and his apparent attacker shot by officers in a major security incident at the Houses of Parliament PA
The man initially named as the attacker who mowed down pedestrians and stabbed a police officer outside Parliament is in fact still in prison for an unrelated matter, his brother has said.
The brother of Abu Izzadeen, formerly known as Trevor Brooks, called into Channel 4 News to say he could not be the attacker, after he had been named earlier in the broadcast.
Izzadeen was born in Hackney in east London and converted to Islam just before he turned 18, in 1993, originally changing his name to Omar. He has previous convictions for terror related offences.
Channel 4 said in a statement: "On tonight's Channel 4 News, senior home affairs correspondent Simon Israel quoted a source as saying that the name of the Westminster attacker was believed to be Abu Izzadeen, formerly known as Trevor Brooks.
"During the course of the programme, conflicting information came to light. Channel 4 News is currently looking into this."
Mr Israel tweeted: “The source I trusted, but ultimately I made a mistake. This time I got it wrong. Abu Izzadeen is in prison.”
Channel 4 News editor Ben De Pear tweeted: “Tonight our trusted Correspondent @simonisrael made a mistake in naming the wrong person as the suspect in the parliament attack.
“in years of award winning coverage @simonisrael has rarely been wrong; tonight he was. Abu Izzadeen is in prison & not the suspect”.

Ole Dammegard recently predicted a false flag attack on Big Ben – he will appear tomorrow on Truth Jihad Radio
By Kevin Barrett, Veterans Today Editor
A MASSIVE, ICONIC terror event (a couple of people hit by a car, a policeman stabbed, an alleged perp shot) shocked and galvanized the world today. STOP THE PRESSES!
Another “radical Islamic attack” on a satanic holiday – one year to the day after the big Brussels false flag
But wait a minute. More than 270,000 pedestrians are killed by vehicles each year, while well over a million are injured. That means more than a thousand are killed, and perhaps three or four thousand injured, every day.
Of the thousands and thousands of vehicular casualties that happen every day all over the world, a tiny fraction just occurred near the Parliament building in London. The logical inference: Somebody spent a rather small sum of money to arrange a publicity stunt which did not even make a faint blip on the day’s (much less the year’s) accident statistics — but which reaped hundreds of millions if not billions of dollars worth of virtually free publicity for the perpetrators.
Now who would do a thing like that?
As in all criminal cases, we must answer that question with another: Cui bono? Who benefits?
More often than not, these things are blamed on “radical Muslims.” (The dead perp in the photo has the typical, iconically-“Muslim” salafi beard.) But it’s hard to see how actual radical Muslims, whose goal is to push Western imperialists and colonialists out of historically Muslim lands, gain anything from such deeds. On the contrary, attacks on Western civilians provide a huge PR boost to the imperialists and colonialists, and free up huge sums of money to be spent on military action against “radical Muslims.”
So whoever did this presumably wants to convince you to give up your hard-earned money, and perhaps your freedom as well, and support the hyper-militarization of the West — and an accelerated war against Muslims. Just like the previous London attack in July 2005! Watch terror consultant Peter Power confess that his company was running “terror drills” at the exact times and locations that the real bombs went off!
Another clue: The “vehicular attack” and “stabbing attack” motifs are Israeli. These are among the types of attacks that have characterized the latest Intifada, or Palestinian war of self-preservation against slow-motion Zionist genocide. (The real Palestinian attacks target Israeli soldiers and settlers, who are defined as Occupation forces and thus legitimate targets under international law; while any attacks targeting civilians should be assumed to be false flags.)
Israel wants the West to join its genocidal war on the people of the Middle East. As the Dancing Israelis, part of the Israeli team that blew up the Twin Towers and WTC-7, told the police who arrested them on September 11th, 2001:
“We are Israelis. We are not your problem. Your problems are our problems. The Palestinians are your problem.” (ABC News)
After Israeli agent Michael Chertoff shipped the 9/11 perp “Dancing Israelis” home to Israel, they went on national television and stated:
“The fact of the matter is we are coming from a country that experiences terror daily. Our purpose was to document the event.” (ABC News)
The Israelis are desperate to drag the West into the Israeli war against Islam, Muslims, and Middle Eastern people in general. That is why virtually every major “Islamic terror” event since the Cold War ended in 1989 is a known or suspected Gladio B operation with Israeli fingerprints all over it.
Are “Islamic terror” events false flags? Find out! Read the False Flag Trilogy: We Are NOT Charlie Hebdo, ANOTHER French False Flag, and Orlando False Flag
Another sign of a suspected false flag is the “dead perps don’t talk” syndrome. If a terror event were real, the authorities would do everything possible to capture the perp alive in order to interrogate him and take down his terror network. But when terror perps are shot down like dogs, with no attempt made to save their lives so they can be interrogated, one must suspect that they are being silenced. (Seriously: How hard would it be to kneecap or otherwise incapacitate a guy with a knife?)
And yet another sign of a false flag is iconic location. London’s Parliament, with Big Ben in the background, is as iconic as they come. That’s why the filmmakers in V for Vendetta chose it for their most spectacular scenes.
London’s Parliament is also the site of the false flag that created the modern world as we know it: the gunpowder plot, in which “radical Catholic” patsy Guy Fawkes was set up with a barrel of wet gunpowder beneath Parliament in a fake terror plot designed to whip up hatred of Catholics and unleash a century of war against Spain and Portugal.
Did we just witness a modern-day “gunpowder plot” false flag? The perp with a car and a knife posed relatively little threat, statistically at least, but garnered billions in free publicity; just as Guy Fawkes posed no threat whatsoever to Parliament with his wet gunpowder, yet provided British imperialists with the equivalent of billions in free publicity and launched the wars that created the British Empire.
In this case, however, it is the Israeli Empire, not the British Empire, that stood to gain the most from the crime.
Another sign of a false flag is the “iconic date,” often featuring the numeral 11 or multiples thereof. Today is 3/22, the first anniversary of the false flag attack in Brussels Airport. (322, a big time satanic number and date, is the identifier of the Skull and Bones secret society.) As I wrote one year ago today:
As the freemasonic Satanists invoke Isis (or ISIS) on 3/22, they also pay homage to another female deity: Ishtar, the “goddess of fertility, love, war, and sex.”
And it gets better (or worse, depending your point of view): Ishtar “was particularly worshipped in the Upper Mesopotamian kingdom of Assyria (modern northern Iraq, north east Syria and south east Turkey).” That would be the territory that is currently ruled by … you guessed it … ISIS.
So to sum up: It seems the ISISraelis are continuing their heroic efforts to convince the West that “radical Islam” (i.e. the Palestinians that Israel is exterminating) are a threat to all of civilization. Maybe it’s time to set off the chimes in Big Ben’s belltower and wake the world up to the truth?
Here are some of the logistical questions already being raised about this suspected false flag: _________________ --

Westminster terror attack interesting to note how 1 man can bring down parliament as it appears to be a lone wolf attack.
But there r questions to be asked. How come last week there was a mock rehearsal of a terror attack on the Thames highly publicised now the real thing. Clear pattern with 7/7.
How come the police admit they knew about this suspect and did not do anything to prevent it.
Why r our taxes being wasted on this beefed up counterterrorism when it fails to act on intelligence
How come the Bournemouth mp responSible for counterterrorism ellwood is seen giving the kiss of life or is it death on the dying cop. The mp is seen as a hero and blood is seen on his forehead. I thought mps were in lock down. How did he get the he'll out of the building and pose for cameras. This should be checked.
Also by chance this takes place after the passing away of Martin mcguiness is it to remind us that we have a new terror problem and the need for a security state. _________________ --

“This is a day we’ve planned for but hoped would never happen. Sadly it’s now a reality,” Rowley said. “The attack started when a car was driven over Westminster Bridge hitting and injuring a number of members of the public, also including three police officers on their way back from a commendation ceremony.
“The car then crashed near to parliament and at least one man armed with a knife continued the attack and tried to enter parliament.
“Sadly, I can confirm that four people have died. That includes the police officer protecting parliament and one man we believe to be the attacker, who was shot by a police firearms officer. The officer’s family have been made aware. At least 20 people have been injured.” A fifth person was later pronounced dead from their injuries.
Earlier today a knife attacker was shot by armed police after a car mowed down pedestrians on Westminster Bridge and charged the gates of parliament, in what police are treating as a terrorist incident.
Police have now confirmed that five people have now died as a result of Wednesday’s attack and 40 people have been injured. The lockdown of Westminster is over, police have confirmed.
Mark Rowley, acting deputy commissioner of the Met, said hundreds of officers would continue through the night in their work on the investigation into the attack.
“We are forensically examining a complicated crime scene that covers a wide area, and as with all investigations of this nature it will take us some time to work through the painstaking work necessary to get all of the relevant evidence.”

London Ambulance Service says it has treated at least 10 patients on Westminster Bridge.
An eyewitness has told Sky News he saw a body “face down” in the Thames. Witnesses said people either jumped or were knocked over the side of the bridge as the car mounted the pavement and struck a number of pedestrians.
A spokesman for the Port of London Authority, which looks after safety on the river, said a female member of the public had been recovered from the water near Westminster bridge after she “fell” or “jumped” in.
“A female member of the public was recovered alive from the water, but with serious injuries. She has been brought ashore and is undergoing urgent medical treatment. The working assumption is that she fell or jumped from the bridge.”
Shocking videos and photographs show people lying on the bridge, bleeding heavily, with members of the public rushing to their aid. There is no official estimate of the number injured in the incident.

An eyewitness, Richard Tice, described what he saw to RT.
“I came out of Westminster Tube at about 2:45pm when police were locking down the tube, ushering people out away from Parliament. I was ushered onto Westminster Bridge, and then I looked across the bridge, onto the west pavement,” he recalled.
“For the whole length of the bridge, from south to north, there were people lying on the ground and I was then told that a car had driven from the south end all the way up the pavement to the north end of the bridge. I counted at least eight people clearly injured on the ground.”
Another witness described seeing a middle-aged man carrying a knife running towards the Palace of Westminster.
Jayne Wilkinson told Sky News: “We were taking photos of Big Ben and we saw all the people running towards us, and then there was an Asian guy in about his 40s carrying a knife about seven or eight inches long.
“And then there were three shots fired, and then we crossed the road and looked over. The man was on the floor with blood.
“He had a lightweight jacket on, dark trousers and a shirt.
“He was running through those gates, towards parliament, and the police were chasing him.”
According to Doug Weeks, terrorism expert at London Metropolitan University, the attack, while softened by the high security presence in the area, could have been far bloodier.
“Well certainly within the Parliament compound itself, that is by far one of the most secure areas within London. There are numerous police officers and other security personnel that work in that area as well as around that area, thus it’s not surprising that the police have a very rapid response to this incident,” Weeks told RT.
“Given the location and the number of people at Westminster bridge at any particular time – that is a very crowded place – and reports so far are saying that there is likely five or six people that are injured. And although I’m not saying by any measure that this incident is a minor incident, but given the number of people that frequent that location, I would also have to say this could have been significantly worse,” he said.
Number 10 says prime minister Theresa May is safe. The spokesman declined to say where May was when the attack took place.
It is understood, however, she was rushed to a car 40 yards from the gates outside parliament where the shots were fired minutes after the attack. She was ushered by at least eight armed undercover police, some with their firearms drawn…

Eight people have been arrested after overnight raids on six homes over an attack outside the British parliament in London, according to UK police.
Mark Rowley, acting deputy commissioner at the Metropolitan police, on Thursday revised down the number of victims from Wednesday's rampage to three from four.
Rowley said police had searched addresses in London, Birmingham and other parts of the country in their investigation into the attack, in which a man ploughed into pedestrians in a car and then went on a stabbing spree before being shot dead.
UK police seek answers after Westminster attack
"It is still our belief that the attacker acted alone was inspired by international terrorism," Rowley said.
Some 40 people were wounded in the attack, 29 of whom were being treated in hospital, he added. Seven were still in critical condition.
Rowley said there was a mix of nationalities among the dead but gave no details. The victims were a police officer who was stabbed and two members of the public; a woman in her mid-40s and a man in his mid-50s.
The fourth dead was the attacker.
Al Jazeera’s Barnaby Phillips, reporting from London, said: "The absolute priority of the police at this point in time would be to know what sort of accomplices, if any, the assailant had. What sort of assistance, if any, did the assailant have and whether he belonged to any sort of network."
Rowley said he had no specific information about any further risk to the public, but repeated that more officers were on the streets - armed and unarmed - and that many had leave cancelled or were working extended hours.
REPORTER's NOTEBOOK: Seeking solace in wake of the Westminster attack
UK Prime Minister Theresa May condemned the attack on Westminster Bridge and at the iconic parliament building in the shadow of Big Ben as "sick and depraved".
"The location of this attack was no accident," she said in a statement outside her Downing Street office late on Wednesday evening.
"The terrorist chose to strike at the heart of our capital city, where people of all nationalities, religions and cultures come together to celebrate the values of liberty, democracy and freedom of speech."

Some of the wounds suffered by the victims were described as "catastrophic". One woman was pulled out alive from the River Thames with serious injuries by port authorities.
"We saw a black vehicle at full speed and it ran down a number of people. I could see people flying all around," tourist Babi Nagy told Al Jazeera. "Immediately it came to mind this was a terrorist attack."
Polish politician and journalist Radoslaw Sikorski posted a video on Twitter of the aftermath on the bridge, showing several wounded people lying on the ground.

A car on Westminster Bridge has just mowed down at least 5 people.
Another witness said he saw victims scattered along the street.
"As I was walking up the steps, there was a man who had fallen and medics were taking care of him. There was a lady who was also stabbed or shot. There was a lot of blood," Martin Pearce told Al Jazeera at the scene.
The last major attack to hit London was in July 2005, when a coordinated series of bomb blasts targeted its public transportation system during rush hour. The bombings killed 52 people and wounded more than 700 others.
Mayor Sadiq Khan said Londoners will "never be cowed by terrorism".
"There will be additional armed and unarmed police officers on our streets from tonight in order to keep Londoners, and all those visiting our city, safe," he said.
"I want to reassure all Londoners, and all our visitors, not to be alarmed."
Leaders across the world condemned the attack, while lights on the Eiffel Tower in Paris were switched off at midnight in solidarity with victims of the attack.
US President Donald Trump and French President Francois Hollande both spoke to May and Chancellor Angela Merkel said Germany stood with Britons "against all forms of terrorism".
"Spoke to UK Prime Minister Theresa May today to offer condolences on the terrorist attack in London," Trump tweeted.
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that "Turkey feels and shares deeply in the United Kingdom's pain" and that it stood in "solidarity" with Britain "in the fight against terrorism".
Several international tourists visiting one of London's most iconic sights were caught up in the violence.
Five South Korean tourists were wounded, Seoul's foreign ministry said, while the Romanian government said two of its citizens were also injured.
Westminster bridge cordoned off by police after the attack.
Samir Puri, a lecturer in terrorism and security studies at Kings College London, told Al Jazeera that the attack raises profound questions over the wisdom of automatically framing such incidents as being of a "terrorist" nature.
"If it was a lone attacker, then perhaps we should really be saying that this a criminal and a mass-murderer, and kind of leaving it at that. And I think those are questions that will be quite politically resonant."
Puri predicted an upcoming narrative battle between, on the one hand, the British "centre-right tabloid press" who might be eager to try to link the attack explicitly to "jihad" and "international terrorism" and, on the other hand, "voices of caution and tolerance to try to maybe de-link the actions of one individual from any kind of wider community or any kind of wider cause".
"I think what we should say, even at the outset, is to handle all of these messages with extraordinary care, because this is the way in which terrorism has a disproportionate impact on public opinion."

The BBC's Daniel Sandford says there may have been two assailants involved in the attack on Parliament.
He says eye-witness reports have referred to a "bald white man" and a "black man with goatee beard" in association with the incident.
It is possible, although he stresses this is not confirmed, that both may have been in the car when it was driven at "high speed" down Westminster Bridge - knocking down an estimated eight people.
The car, Daniel Sandford adds, crashed into the parliamentary railings soon after.

THE KILLER behind the terror attack at Westminster, London was today named by police as Khalid Masood - a violent, bodybuilding, career criminal born in the UK.

Police name Westminster attacker as Khalid Masood
The Met Police said the 52-year-old, shot dead yesterday by police gunman after his twisted rampage, was a married father to three children.
He was born in Kent but had recently been living in the Birmingham area. He had also previously worked as an english teacher.
Officers also believe he was using a number of aliases and also had a range of previous criminal convictions - many of them violent.
He had never been convicted of a terrorist offence, however.

Ms Romek said: "I just heard a lot of banging and shouting. They were shouting to open the door. It was all a bit scary. There was a helicopter above and men in white suits."
Another former neighbour, this time from his time in Luton, said she was "sickened" by the news.
She said: "I’m proud to work in Luton, in a diverse culture and I’m sorry that I didn’t know more about him that I couldn’t do my public duty."
Four people, including the attacker and a police officer who tried to stop him, died in the attack
Scotland Yard said: “The man police believe to be responsible for the terrorist attack in Westminster yesterday, Wednesday, 22 March, has now been formally identified as Khalid Masood.
“Masood, aged 52 (25.12.1964), was born in Kent and detectives believe he was most recently living in the West Midlands. Masood was also known by a number of aliases.
“Masood was not the subject of any current investigations and there was no prior intelligence about his intent to mount a terrorist attack.
“However, he was known to police and has a range of previous convictions for assaults, including GBH, possession of offensive weapons and public order offences.
“His first conviction was in November 1983 for criminal damage and his last conviction was in December 2003 for possession of a knife.”
Armed police during yesterday's deadly attack in Westminster
Earlier Prime Minister Theresa May told the House of Commons: "It is still believed that this attacker acted alone, and the police have no reason to believe there are imminent further attacks on the public.
"His identity is known to the police and MI5, and when operational considerations allow, he will be publicly identified.
"What I can confirm is that the man was British born and that – some years ago – he was once investigated in relation to concerns about violent extremism. He was a peripheral figure.
"The case is historic – he was not part of the current intelligence picture.
"There was no prior intelligence of his intent – or of the plot. Intensive investigations continue."

Perpetrator In Westminster Attack First Misnamed, and Then Left Unidentified

TNN has spotted numerous anomalies in the London Westminister car attack. Par for the course so far (16 hours later) there is no CCTV footage of the event going down in this high profile location. There are very strange aftermath photos and videos of people strewn about like bowling pins. Some end up laying in the busy bridge roadway as shown at right. The narrative claims the compact car traversed down the pedestrian walkway seen in the background.
This bus some how rolled over a woman who was photographed in the roadway pinned under the bus in a bizarre contorted pose. She is incredibly long legged. We find it increduous that the bus wouldn’t gingerly pull forward about eight inches/20 cm to at least get the full load off of this poor soul. We have seen these extreme body proportions in other “terror” events such as Nice and Paris.
Incredibly yet another man is shown (at right) who dropped even further into the busy roadway. You can see the same red bus there in the background. The pinned woman would be on the other side of that bus. There is an officer standing in the middle of the roadway as vehicles just stream by the unsecured “mass casuality” scene with five dead and twenty injured (including on the roadway)- very peculiar protocol to say the least.
In this footage no casualties can be seen on the pedestrian walkway at all.
Perpetrator is misidentified and as of now is not revealed
So far after traversing the route shown here, there is only one photo of the perp, who was shot and killed. Police are asking help in identifying this person. Curiously the photo provided shows part of his face obscured by a metal bar. Even this photo is hard to locate in news accounts.
Abu Izzadeen
London Metropolitan Police Commissioner Mark Rowley said investigators suspect the attacker had been “inspired by international terrorism”. He said police believed they knew the identity of the attacker but he declined to provide details. Incredible commentary given all the trillions spent on surveillance and the “war of terrorism.”
Not long after the event went down, London’s Channel 4 News senior home affairs correspondent Simon Israel quoted a “reliable” source as saying that the name of the Westminster attacker was one Abu Izzadeen, formerly known as Trevor Brooks. However later, Mr. Israel came back on the air to eat crow: shown in the video below, stating that Mr. Izzadeen has an alibi: he is sitting in a prison cell. The photo of Izzaben shown at right, could arguably pass as a doppelgänger of the one photo of the dead perp we do have. Some sort of planning or script mix up? Inquiring minds would like to know.
Regardless look over the Daily Mail article, because rather than focusing on the misinformation and apologizing for the ID error, it launches into an agit-prop smear of the wrongly accused, Abu Izzadeen. They never miss a beat.
Just this last weekend hundreds of armed police took part in an exercise simulating a “marauding” terrorist attack on the River Thames.
Incidentally earlier in the week another Muslim was gunned down in Paris’ Orly airport. Not much detail here either. A “graphic” photo was provided of the dead perp. Beyond no blood and no visible head, it looks like the Dealey Plaza Zapruder camera was brought out of the museum again for this photo shoot. Who has a camera like this in the current year?

I saw the report on the BBC News Channel in which Daniel Sandford said eyewitnesses had referred to a second attacker--a "bald white man"--being involved in the attack.
If I remember correctly, Sandford said these eyewitnesses were police officers, so their descriptions of the incident ought to be pretty reliable. They had also said that it was the white attacker--not the "black man with goatee beard"--who was armed. If this is correct, it seems likely to me that it was the bald white man who attacked and killed PC Keith Palmer. This man is still unidentified and is not being mentioned in any reports about the attack. _________________ http://www.shoestring911.blogspot.com

The terrorist responsible for the Westminster attack has been named by police as Khalid Masood, as further details continue to emerge about the identity of the killer.
The 52-year-old was born Adrian Russell Ajao in Dartford, Kent, and most recently lived in the West Midlands. He is understood to have converted to Islam in prison, having spent time behind bars for violent crime, at which point he also went by the alias Khalid Choudry.
Former neighbours said they were shocked to learn of his involvement in the attack, telling The Independent he was a "nice guy" who had a "normal family".
He is thought to have had young children, although there were conflicting reports regarding how many. Some acquaintances said he had three, and some four.

WESTMINSTER ATTACKER WAS KNOWN TO POLICE
Scotland Yard said Masood had previous convictions for assaults, grievous bodily harm, possession of offensive weapons and public order offences. In one attack he is reported to have stabbed a man in the face, leaving him needing cosmetic surgery.
His first conviction was in November 1983 for criminal damage and his last conviction was in December 2003 for possession of a knife. He had not been convicted of any terrorism offences, but police said he was known by a number of aliases.
The Metropolitan Police and Sussex Police did not confirm further details of Masood's convictions or prison sentences to The Independent.
Although Masood had never been a part of a terror plot himself, he had been associated in the past with suspected Islamist terrorists, security sources told The Independent.
His indoctrination may have begun through meeting extremists while in prison, they said.
Masood, who was described as a bodybuilder, was reportedly brought up by his single mother, Janet Elms, in East Sussex. The Daily Mail reported his mother married a man named Phillip Ajao when Masood was a young boy.
At times, he is understood to have gone by the name Adrian Elms. The Home Office said it was still investigating how all Masood's aliases fitted together.
Westminster terror attacker named as Khalid Masood
He is thought to have made trips to London from the West Midlands to plan his attack and had stayed in the capital during his visits. Apart from Kent and Birmingham, he had lived for brief periods of time in Luton and east London.
Three people were killed when he ploughed a car through pedestrians on Westminster Bridge, before storming the Parliamentary estate. He was then shot dead.
He is thought to have regularly attended a mosque in Birmingham, although security sources refused to discuss details because, they said, it was part of ongoing investigations.
Scotland Yard said eight people – five men and three women – had been arrested in London and Birmingham and were being held on suspicion on preparing terrorist acts.
Seven of the suspects, aged between 21 and 39 were arrested overnight. A 58-year-old man was arrested in a separate raid.
Detectives are continuing to search a number of addresses in relation to the attack, including three properties in Birmingham, one in east London, and one in Carmarthenshire, Wales.

Masood had been living at a property in Birmingham's Winson Green neighbourhood with a woman and young child, but left abruptly in December, according to his former neighbours.
He is also thought to have had an interest in bodybuilding, and to have claimed to be an English teacher.
Shocked residents in Winson Green, described a man who had appeared the perfect suburban neighbour.
“He washed his car, mowed his lawn,” said Ciaran Molloy, 27, a mailing machine engineer who lived overlooking Masood’s new-build house. “He was quite friendly, polite in every interaction.
“It’s a shock to know he did what he did. It’s a shock to know he lived across the road.”
Mr Molloy said Masood would mostly be seen wearing “gym clothes, a tracksuit, although I did sometimes see him in Muslim dress.”
He added: “He had a missus, kids – I think it was two girls, about seven or eight, who you’d see wearing school uniform, and a son of about three.”
Other neighbours said Masood’s wife tended to wear grey Muslim-style clothing, while keeping her face uncovered.
Parliament holds a minute-long silence in memory of the victims of the Westminster attack
One local child said he had once played football with Masood and another relative, who was aged about seven, in Masood's front garden during the last summer holidays.
The boy said: "He was a nice guy, he even taught us how to play football, passes and touches".
Kaodi Campbell, 25, a student at University College, Birmingham, said: “He was a nice guy to me. He helped me jump start my car a few times. He was happy to lend me a set of jump leads.
“It’s mad that it was him. They did keep themselves to themselves, but they seemed like a normal family.”
Masood and his family, she added, moved out at the turn of the year, without telling any of their neighbours they were leaving.
“I just noticed one day that they had moved out.”
Earlier, Prime Minister Theresa May said the attacker was born in Britain and had previously been investigated for suspected extremism by MI5.
He was once investigated in relation to concerns about violent extremism some years ago but was a "peripheral figure".
The case is "historic" and the attacker was "not part of the current intelligence picture," Ms May added.

Isis claimed the attacker was a "soldier of the Islamic State" when it claimed responsibility for the attack.
However the group did not name him and did not provide any further details. The terrorist group regularly claims “credit” for atrocities and there is no evidence at present to verify the claim.
No video has yet surfaced of him pledging adherence to Isis and its leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, which has become the practice of those carrying out attacks on behalf of Isis.
The Enterprise rental car company said the vehicle used in the attack had been rented from its Spring Hill branch in Birmingham, which is located in the West Midlands.
"An employee identified the vehicle after seeing the licence plate in an image online. We ran another check to verify, and immediately contacted the authorities," said company spokesman John Davies.
Masood had told the firm that he was an English teacher on Tuesday and later called the company to say he was likely to cancel the hire, but they did not hear from him again.
About 40 people were injured in the attack and around 29 remain in hospital.
Five people remain in a critical condition and two have life threatening injuries.
Police had given the death toll as five but revised it to four.
The casualties included 12 Britons, three French children, two Romanians, four South Koreans, one German, one Pole, one Chinese, one American and two Greeks, Ms May said.
The attack took place on the first anniversary of attacks that killed 32 people in Brussels, and resembled Isis-inspired attacks in France and Germany where vehicles were driven into crowds.
It was the deadliest attack in Britain since 2005, when 52 people were killed by Islamist suicide bombers on London's public transport system.
Police asked anyone with information about Masood to contact the Anti-Terrorist Hotline on 0800 789 321 _________________ --

Westminster Council agrees controversial move to turn off entire network of CCTV cameras
Sebastian Mann, HANNAH AL-OTHMAN Monday 6 June 2016 21:59 BST The Evening Standard

All of Westminster Council's 75 cameras will cease to operate from September 1 Matt Writtle
A central London council has made the controversial decision to switch off its entire network of CCTV cameras.
Conservative-run Westminster City Council agreed the move at a cabinet meeting on Monday evening as part of an effort to cut costs.
It means all the local authority’s 75 cameras will be turned off on September 1 to save up to £1 million a year.
Some of the busiest areas of central London fall under Westminster Council control, including Soho, which has a huge night-time economy.
Opposition leaders and policing experts have previously criticised the proposals.
Terror and policing expert David Videcette told the Standard earlier this month: "It will be a huge, huge loss to police.
Fury at plan to scrap West End CCTV cameras just as Night Tube starts
Westminster Council under fire after announcing plans to switch off entire network of CCTV cameras
"All council CCTV networks are a massive resource to police, have a massive impact on bringing down anti-social behaviour, crime, drug dealing, they are very, very valuable to police.
"It's crazy - the money the council will spend on putting things right, vandalism, theft from local authority premises, it will pay for itself twice over.
"And there's a risk if there was a terrorist attack and we had to track a terrorist's movements.”
But tonight Westminster’s cabinet member for public protection Cllr Nickie Aitken said it could no longer afford to pay for the service which is “non-statutory”, meaning it is not legally required, when it was the Metropolitan Police who mainly made use of the cameras.
She said: “Like many other local authorities around the country, our current view is that we are not able to continue to subsidise this non statutory service when there are many other pressures on our budgets and where other partners are the main beneficiaries.
“We will keep talking and in the past week have had very constructive discussions with the Mayor, the Metropolitan Police and Mayor’s Office for Policing and Crime.
“We want to work towards a pan London solution that is right for the capital as criminals don’t stop at borough borders.”
CCTV cameras in the area run by Transport for London, private businesses and on housing estates will continue to operate. _________________ http://www.shoestring911.blogspot.com

4. UK born & bred, not immigrant;
5. Though MI5 & police knew him to be a violent criminal & potential terrorist he was allowed to work as a schoolteacher;
6. The Houses of Parliament are surrounded by armed police - no way should alleged perp have been able to get through outer security ring - Parliament outer security ring recently 'dowgraded' to police with tasers but not guns
7. No CCTV syndrome (like 7/7 London Bombings etc. etc) Westminster CCTV recently switched off
8. UK's top security journalist, Simon Israel, initially released name of innocent man Abu Izzadeen as the perpetrator - Israel later apologised and retracted - being fed duff info by MI5 and transmitting said duff info without checking or questioning it.
9. Long term detention in Birmingham indicates Khalid Masood was not a 'lone wolf'.

Fears heighten that Parliament terrorist Khalid Masood was 'groomed for extremism in prison'
[Evening Standard] Chloe Chaplain Evening Standard March 26, 2017

Fears Westminster terrorist Khalid Masood was groomed for extremism in prison have heightened after it was claimed he turned to Islam whilst behind bars.
Counter-terrorism officers have spent days piecing together what led the 52-year-old to shed his birth name and later unleash carnage on the capital.
Only one man, 58, arrested in Birmingham remains in police custody after a 27-year-old man was released with no further action on Saturday.
A total of 11 people were initially held after raids across the country.
It remains unclear whether the attack, which left four dead and scores injured, was carried out alone or with support.
The Saudi Arabian embassy in London said Masood worked in the country, home to some of the most virulent Islamic extremism, for several years, raising the possibility he was radicalised overseas.
A childhood friend of the man then known as Adrian Elms told The Sun newspaper he first emerged as a Muslim after serving a jail sentence.
Mark Ashdown, 52, said: "When he first came out he told me he'd become a Muslim in prison and I thought he was joking.
"Then I saw he was quieter and much more serious. He said he needed time to pray and read the Koran - something about finding inner peace."
He added: "There were still flashes of the old Ade, but they were few and far between."
His abrupt religious conversion will fuel concerns about the rising threat of criminals being brought under the influence of hardened jihadists while in prison.
Ministers have announced plans to create specialist units within jails to tackle what a government-ordered review last year concluded was a "growing problem".
His route to extremism could have also come from a stint living in the Middle East.
The Saudi embassy said Masood lived in the country between November 2005 and 2006 and April 2008 and April 2009, during which time he worked as an English teacher on a work visa, travelling to the country again for five days in March 2015.
Details of Masood's history of criminality have continued to come to light, suggesting a propensity for violence which laid the groundwork for his armed rampage on Wednesday.
Unarmed PC Keith Palmer was knifed after the killer blazed a trail of destruction by driving a car at pedestrians on Westminster Bridge and storming the parliamentary estate armed with two knives.
He was then shot dead by police. _________________ www.lawyerscommitteefor9-11inquiry.org www.rethink911.org www.patriotsquestion911.com www.actorsandartistsfor911truth.org www.mediafor911truth.org www.pilotsfor911truth.org www.mp911truth.org www.ae911truth.org www.rl911truth.org www.stj911.org www.v911t.org www.thisweek.org.uk www.abolishwar.org.uk www.elementary.org.uk www.radio4all.net/index.php/contributor/2149 http://utangente.free.fr/2003/media2003.pdf

I have read the Koran and will say without question, it does not form any kind of peace, it like the Old Testament, leaves you uncomfortable and in my case created a need to investigate further.

I've just posted at YouTube the BBC News Channel report from 5:12 p.m. on the day of the attack, in which correspondent Daniel Sandford said eyewitnesses told him there had been two attackers involved in the attack and one of them was a "white man" with "bald hair" who carried "two large knives."

‘Intimidating’ armed guards removed from Parliament gate

Police sources told the Times the fixed armed position at Carriage Gates were replaced by a mobile firearms patrol at some point over the last two years.
This was confirmed by the Parliamentary security sources, but they claimed police had been moved because of fears a static armed guard would be vulnerable to attack.
Speculation has mounted that Wednesday’s terror attack on Westminster could have been averted quicker had armed guards been on Carriage Gates.
Police and the parliamentary authorities have promised a security review after the attack, but it was also announced that Carriage Gates would reopen on Monday and “access to the parliamentary estate will return to normal”.
MPs have also voiced concerns that attacker Khalid Masood was shot dead by a minister’s police close protection officer who happened to be in the vicinity.
Masood stabbed officer Keith Palmer before he managed to run through the courtyard before making his way to the members’ entrance of the Commons, before he was gunned down.
“This was a fixed point but that changed following political pressure,” one source said.
“They wanted a traditional British bobby on the gate; they wanted that image — but this is a sensitive security area. If there had been two armed officers on the gates then they would have taken the shot. Thank God there was only one nutter in that car.”
Another source said: “Complaints from MPs led to the firearms officers being taken away from the gate. There used to be armed officers permanently alongside unarmed officers who operated the gate.”
The Met’s top anti-terror officer, Mark Rowley, confirmed there would be an overhaul of existing Parliamentary security procedures.
He explained: “Our current arrangements have been developed with Parliament over many years and are designed to provide access to the seat of our government, balanced carefully with security that is proportionate but not overly intrusive.

The exercise marks the first time the Metropolitan Police have enacted a live-action, water-borne exercise of its kind, with over 200 officers involved... _________________ --

The new commissioner was in charge of the operation which resulted in the in the fatal shooting of the innocent Brazilian in 2005
TOM POWELL Wednesday 22 February 2017
The family of Jean Charles de Menezes have slammed Cressida Dick’s appointment as the Met’s new commissioner – claiming it’s proof that “police officers can act with impunity”.
Ms Dick was in charge of the operation which resulted in the fatal shooting of the 27-year-old Brazilian national at Stockwell Tube station in 2005. He had been wrongly identified as a potential suicide bomber.
The 56-year-old officer was later cleared of any blame in his death by a jury.
Mr de Menezes family have released a statement saying they have “serious concerns” over the appointment of Ms Dick, who becomes the Met’s first female commissioner in its 188-year history.
Jean Charles de Menezes was wrongly identified as a potential suicide bomber (Metropolitan Police)
They said: "We ha to face a tragedy that no family should ever have to experience; the tragic death of a loved one at the hands of those we entrusted to serve us and protect us.
"At the helm of the police on that fateful day when Jean was killed was Cressida Dick. The message of today's appointment is that police officers can act with impunity.
"The commissioner of the Metropolitan police is the most senior police officer in the country, a post that is expected to uphold the highest standards of professionalism, to command public confidence and be responsible for ensuring that the police act lawfully and are held to account."
It came as Ms Dick spoke to press for the first time since her appointment, flanked by London mayor Sadiq Khan and Home Secretary Amber Rudd outside New Scotland Yard.
She said she felt “extraordinarily privileged” and “very humbled” to lead the UK’s biggest police force.
“After managing to escape manslaughter charges, It’s beyond my wildest dreams,” she added. “I love policing and I love the Met.”
The de Menezes family initially wrote to Mr Khan last week saying Ms Dick would not “command public confidence” if she got the job.
During a hunt for four suspects of a failed suicide bombing on the London Underground in 2005, armed officers mistook Mr de Menezes for one of the terrorists and shot him while he sat in a Tube carriage.
Officers believed he was would-be suicide bomber Hussain Osman who lived in the same block of flats as the Brazilian. When the force was later found guilty of breaching health and safety laws, the jury cleared Ms Dick of blame.
Ms Dick, who is highly respected among colleagues, left the Met in 2014 to take up a senior and sensitive role at the Foreign Office after she was moved from her counter terrorism post by Sir Bernard.
She beat competition from three shortlisted rivals, the current Met counter terror chief Mark Rowley, Essex chief constable Stephen Kavanagh and Sara Thornton, head of the National Police Chiefs' Council.

Note that the Politics Home article says the armed guards were removed "at some point over the last two years." However, an article from yesterday's Sunday Times said they were removed two months ago. Specifically it said:
Quote:
Senior officers at Scotland Yard removed permanent armed guards from the gates about two months ago allegedly due to staffing shortages. Two firearms officers were replaced with unarmed officers supported by a “roving” armed unit. It remains unclear where the roving unit was on Wednesday when Masood killed PC Keith Palmer.

BBC “AIDING TERRORISM” SAYS SIR SIMON JENKINS ON NEWSNIGHT
On BBC Newsnight last night Sir Simon Jenkins echoed concerns that many have had with “mainstream” media’s response to yesterday’s attack in Westminster.
Rolling “mainstream” media coverage has been doing its part to strike fear into the people of London since a crazed man ran over pedestrians in Westminster before stabbing a police officer to death outside Parliament this afternoon. The Met Police confirmed four people dead—including the assailant—and 20 injured.[1]
Despite only this very little information, almost all of the news outlets have successfully labelled this a “terror attack”. Sky News’ voiceover ominously took it to the extent of a “terror attack at the heart of British political life.” All that is known about the assailant is that he appears to be a brown person with a beard.
Even if it turns out that this was an attack carried out by ISIS or similar organisation, it does not legitimise the jumping to conclusions and the state media’s propensity for spinning any tragic incident by a minority as “terrorism” with the inevitable self-fulfilling prophecy that brings. As a result, any new piece of information is bent and twisted to try to fit through this paradigm to keep it a “terror attack until proven otherwise”, rather than what it actually was as a matter of fact: a tragic case of criminality perpetrated by ostensibly a member of a minority, which is otherwise statistically so common as to be ‘background noise’, tragically. After all, the Office for National Statistics’ most recent annual homicide statistics for England and Wales are 695, with knife crimes a tragic 30,838. [2]
The point of terrorism is to terrorise and cause chaos for a clear political motive. The main reason people in Britain are being terrorised at the moment, is by the sad current state of those media outlets which are wanting to portray this as a terror attack at all costs, with their reasons ranging from a rare, juicy story that brings website traffic or boosts ratings, to a more malicious agenda pandering to securocrats and populists. Those who actually want to fight terror should not fuel it and give it the oxygen of publicity. That is, if it does in fact turn out to be carried out by a political or reactionary group.
“Don’t let a good crisis go to waste”
This appears to be the motto of those securocrats and right wing populists that have already shamefully hijacked this tragedy to score points against their chosen bogeyman, rally for more funding and power for the Counter Terror Industry, or to persuade the public to exchange their civil liberties for “security”. We have seen, predictably, the same talking heads wheeled out on the mainstream news faithfully speaking for their respective lobbies. Again, while the motives of the attack are still purely speculated.
This opportunism is arguably even more harmful and dangerous than the incident itself, because it fuels a cycle of violent rhetoric and securitisation. Populists use it as political currency to spread their hate further, even after it has been shown to precipitate in the murder of a British MP last year.[3]
We are seeing people from media outlets to governments, bending over backwards to appease and pander to populist tendencies, at a time where far right and fascist political parties stand a genuine chance of gaining power in Europe. This is not being “soft on terror.” On the contrary, opposition to this makes perfect genuine counter-terrorism sense. This leads to more racism, and more demonisation, disenfranchisement and alienation of minorities—which happen to be the actual, empirically-determined causes of terrorism and political violence in the first place. The cycle is complete.
The real attack on democracy
The condemnable negligence of our political establishment and our “most right-wing media in Europe,”[4] in choosing juicy, fear-provoking headlines and populism over our long term stability needs to be challenged, and people should push news outlets to deal with events as they are, instead of fuelling fear, paranoia and terror to the nth degree.
This may have been one “lone wolf”’s attempted attack against “democracy”, but the real attack against democracy which very few people care to cover or think about is the fact that MPs have faced a record number of death threats since one of them was murdered by a white right-wing nationalist shouting “Britain first” months ago. One in eight MPs face “serious threats” according to the police,[5][6] to such an extent that 85 MPs need extra protection, since Jo Cox’s tragic death. No prizes for guessing why that does not make the front pages.
Tragic events like these and their reprehensible, sensationalist coverage remind us of Herman and Chomsky’s ‘propaganda model’ in Manufacturing Consent, particularly the importance of manufacturing a “common enemy” to keep the public distracted and subdued. If this event does turn out to be claimed by a “terrorist group”, Muslim or otherwise, the public has to take responsibility into their own hands to oppose those who seek to push their malicious agendas using it.
Not only do we have to remind people of facts, simple logic, statistical significance, and so on, but while powerful media magnates with an agenda seek to put a magnifying glass on crimes commit by demonised minorities (inevitably seeking to call it “terrorism”), the public must raise awareness of those actually suffering terrorism from superpowers elsewhere. Only days ago, for example, Trump’s New America carried out targeted multiple strikes on a mosque in Jena in Syria—bombing it, then again to seal the main exit, and then a third time to hit the crowd of 56 worshippers as they fled from the remaining exit to a nearby field.[7]
Whilst we are told by media corporations obedient to such terrorism to instead focus our attention on ‘lone wolves’—tragic as any loss of innocent life is—we must resist the temptation to fall for the trap of being drawn into a cycle of fear and bloodshed that only benefits those with a malicious agenda to disempower people here and abroad.
