I've thought for a while now that a real easy and cheap way to spread the word about all of this would be to take a lesson from major charities such as oxfam and the nspcc etc...these guys have workers lined up along major streets in every city wearing their campaign logo and recruiting for their cause. It wouldn't be very hard at all for a bunch of us to hit the streets with three or four main pieces of solid evidence, copies of confronting the evidence and t-shirts, and approach people. It would also give us a good deal of feedback regarding what kind of percentage of the population are already aware of the cover-up. I'm well up for this...

Hi James,

Great idea, thanks for that!

I am well up for doing this either on my own in the North Lancashire region or with the Cumbria group. From experience campaigning as a group is far more effective than doing it individually.

The problem at the moment is lack of resources. Unless you are prepared to incur considerable personal expense, re: printing copying, paper costs then you have no resources. Unlike Oxfam etc there is no support other than the stuff that Jimmy Walters has kindly provided. IMO it is time the UK truth campaign found its own UK Jimmy Walter, or are our UK millionairies spineless?

I have about 20 Confronting the evidence dvds left having given them out at summer car boot sales and on campaign outings with the Cumbria group. Rather than give out the regalia for nothing IMO it is better to seek a donation to facilitate the purchase of further resources. People who give a cash donation are far more likely to look at it. Give them away and the chances of people looking at it is unlikely in many cases. There is no point in giving away a dvd if someone doesnt have a dvd player. an excuse used by some polticians who have been supplied with the dvd.

Ideally what we need to create is a Truth group in every UK constituency which has access to a corporate road show facility were as well as distributing the information and selling regalia T shirts, dvds, books (re: David Ray Griffin "New Pearl Harbour") we can also play them the dvds.
This is what I did at the car boots and it was massive draw of attention and an awakening of many peoples minds.

The creation and development of this website IMO was a massive breakthrough for the UK 911 truth campaign however to date there is no resourcing or support, strategy or business plan/target setting.

Since the excellent National conference in London there appears to have been nothing established concerning collective organisation apart from the political group co-ordinated by Justin & Ian. Can I suggest that the following steering groups are set up asap:- Constituency truth group,
Resources/campaigning and a Fund sourcing group to hunt out a UK Jimmy Walter.

We urgently need a corporate image, a campaign logo as you say so that we can become a publicly recognised professional bona fide VOLUNTARY organisation/charity. Like the "Big issue" We need also to have some sort of accountability in place to prevent fraudster infiltration and business people just using the campaign for their own financial gain!

I contacted the Jimmy Walter info line (re: www.reopen911) last week and was informed the new dvd (to replace the CtE dvd) was presently in production so perhaps these will become available to us soon.

911 campaigning on the streets is the key IMO. Many people are not IT savvy and do not have access to the world wide web, so this website and its brother/sister websites has no impact whatsover!

Winter campaigning IMO is far more challenging and I have posted a new thread "Winter campaigning ideas" to try generate some positive feeback/brainstorming amongst us all.

Yea you're right about both the fact that we would be much stronger in groups - I'm thinking I want a crew of at least 10 people - and also the resources issue...Yea it will cost but I'm prepared to put my own money into this * - its more than worth it. Broke right now but I was saying to kookomula who replied that it's all about the new year, I can copy dvds so it might not actually work out as expensive as you expect. Need to think of this as a work in progress for a couple of months but get it underway soon, the more peeps who get involved the cheaper it works out too.

speak soon, peace

Hi James,

Thats true Dads army spirit I will let Capt Mainwearing know about you.

IMO your spot on with what you are saying and hopefully you will inspire others to join you in your local 911 campaigning. The boy and the starfish poem comes to my mind again:-

Quote:
THE BOY AND THE STARFISH
Vision without action is merely a dream.
Action without vision just passes time.
Vision with action can change the world.

THE BOY AND THE STARFISH

Once upon a time, there was a wise man who used to go to the ocean to do his writing. He had the habit of walking along the beach before he began his work. One day he was walking along the shore; as he looked down the beach, he saw a human figure moving like a dancer.

He smiled to himself to think of someone who would dance to the day, so he began to walk faster to catch up. As he got closer, he saw that it was a young man and the young man wasn't dancing, but instead, he was reaching down to the shore, picking up something and very gently throwing it into the ocean.

The young man paused, looked up and replied, "Throwing Starfish into the ocean."

"I guess I should have asked; why are you throwing Starfish into the ocean?"

"The sun is up and the tide is going out and if I don't throw them in they'll die."

"But young man, don't you realize that there are miles and miles of beach and Starfish all along it, you can't possibly make a difference!"

The young man listened politely, then bent down, picked up another Starfish and threw it into the sea, past the breaking waves." It made a difference for that one."

His response surprised the man, he was upset, he didn't know how to reply, so instead he turned away and walked back to the cottage to begin his writings.

All day long as he wrote, the image of that young man haunted him; he tried to ignore it, but the vision persisted. Finally, late in the afternoon, he realized that he the scientist, he the poet, had missed the essential nature of the young man's actions. Because he realized that what the young man was doing was choosing not to be an observer in the universe and watch it pass by, but was choosing to be an actor in the universe and make a difference. He was embarrassed.

That night he went to bed, troubled. When morning came, he awoke knowing that he had to do something; so he got up, put on his clothes, went to the beach and found the young man; and with him spent the rest of the morning throwing Starfish into the ocean.

You see, what the young man's actions represent is something that is special in each and every one of us. We have all been gifted with the ability to make a difference. And if we can, like the young man, become aware of that gift, we gain through the strength of our vision the power to shape the future.

And that is your challenge, and that is my challenge. We must find our Starfish, and if we throw our stars wisely and well, I have no question that the 21st century is going to be a wonderful place.

Remember:
Vision without action is merely a dream.
Action without vision just passes time.
Vision with action can change the world.

I have decided upon my latest project is going to be for 911 truth campiagning . I am going to put together a mobile A frame which will sit in my 5 x 4" car trailer put a professional display of the evidence together and incorporate a TV stand in it so that I can the dvds and some music from a huge caravan battery and power invertor and just appear in the Town centres!
