BBC News - James Le Mesurier, White Helmets co-founder, who ran UK psychological warfare operation to discredit Assad, discovered dead in Turkey https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-50375869
A former British Army officer honoured by the Queen for his work with the White Helmets civil defence group in Syria has been found dead in Turkey.
The body of James Le Mesurier, who received an OBE in 2016, was discovered on Monday near his home in Istanbul, White Helmet sources told the BBC.
Mr Le Mesurier set up the Mayday Rescue emergency response group, which helped train White Helmets volunteers.
The cause of death is not known. Turkey has launched an investigation.

Why is there a war in Syria?
In a tweet, the White Helmets said the group had "learned with shock and sadness the news" of the death of Mr Le Mesurier.
Hamish de Bretton-Gordon, a director of the Doctors Under Fire campaign group and a friend of Mr Le Mesurier, said: "It's absolutely tragic. He was one of the few people who have made a humanitarian footprint in Syria."
Mr de Bretton-Gordon said the White Helmets had a very "strong structure" and their work would continue. But he said Mr Le Mesurier's death had left a "hole to fill".
What do we know about Le Mesurier's death?
Mr Le Mesurier's body was found at about 04:30 local time (01:30 GMT) on the street near his home and office in Istanbul's Beyoglu district on the European side of the city.
He was found with fractures to his head and legs, Turkish media say, and is believed to have fallen from his balcony.

A "comprehensive" investigation has been launched, the Istanbul governor's office says.
Who was Le Mesurier?
Mr Le Mesurier, who was believed to be in his 40s at the time of his death and had also worked for the United Nations, was considered a co-founder of the White Helmets.
The organisation, which is also known as the Syria Civil Defence, helps rescue civilians caught up in attacks in areas of Syria controlled by the opposition to President Bashar al-Assad.

In 2016, the organisation received the Right Livelihood Award in recognition for "outstanding bravery, compassion and humanitarian engagement in rescuing civilians". Later the same year the group was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize.
But the Syrian government and its allies Russia and Iran have accused the White Helmets of openly aiding terrorist organisations and the Russian foreign ministry last week accused Mr Le Mesurier of being a former agent of the UK's Secret Intelligence Service, better known as MI6.

The Russian allegation was strongly denied on Monday by Karen Pierce, the UK ambassador to the UN, who said: "The Russian charges against him, that came out of the foreign ministry that he was a spy, are categorically untrue."
Mr Le Mesurier received an OBE (Officer of the Order of the British Empire) from the Queen in 2016 for "services to the Syria Civil Defence group and the protection of civilians in Syria".

The Strange Death of White Helmets Founder James Le Mesurier Leaves Many Questions to be Answered
By Paul Antonopoulos
Global Research, November 13, 2019
https://www.globalresearch.ca/death-white-helmets-founder/5694898
James Le Mesurier, the founder of the Al-Qaeda affiliated White Helmets, known as an “aid organization” in the West but known everywhere else for fabricating chemical weapon provocations in Syria, was found dead in Istanbul on Monday under dubious and confusing circumstances, and many question marks are being raised about his own death.
Journalist Ramazan Bursa claims that the suspicious death clearly demonstrates the White Helmet’s connection with intelligence organizations, particularly Britain’s MI6.
The connection between the M16 and the White Helmets is often overlooked by the Western media, but on Friday, the Russian Foreign Ministry made a startling revelation. Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova revealed that
“The White Helmets co-founder, James Le Mesurier, is a former agent of Britain’s MI6, who has been spotted all around the world, including in the Balkans and the Middle East. His connections to terrorist groups were reported back during his mission in Kosovo.”
A few days later he was found dead…
Of course, Karen Pierce, the UK Permanent Representative to the UN, denied the Russian allegation, claiming that they were “categorically untrue. He was a British soldier,” before describing the mercenary as a “true hero.” The claim he is a “true hero” is a curious choice of words considering he has a long history of working alongside terrorists, as Zakharova correctly highlighted.
He served in the NATO war against Serbia to defend the ethnic-Albanian terrorist Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) in 2000, who have now turned Kosovo into a heroin ‘smugglers paradise,’ and a hub for human trafficking, organ harvesting and arms trafficking in the attempt to create an anti-Russian “Greater Albania.” However, it was not in Kosovo where he achieved his fame, but rather his dubious work in Syria.
Not only did he establish and develop the White Helmets, but he secured significant funding from the UK, U.S., Turkish, German, Qatari, Dutch, Danish and Japanese governments, and helped raise money on Indiegogo. His deep connections to the British military and his expansive experience as a mercenary serving Gulf dictatorships made him the perfect figure to establish a “rescue group” aimed at legitimizing terrorists operating in Syria and to push for a regime-change intervention.
Syria’s White Helmets Suspend Members Caught on Camera During Rebel Execution
Along with the White Helmet’s ties to terrorist organizations and faking chemical weapon incidences, the group also has a role in the execution of civilians and using children in their propaganda campaigns. Mesurier was without a doubt a man with deep connections and deep pockets, with every resource available to him from international intelligence agencies and significant experience in supporting terrorists in conflict zones.
The argument that the White Helmets are not a civil defense team, especially as they never operated in government-held areas despite claiming to be neutral in the war, can easily be made. Despite the constant colonial media claims that the White Helmets are a true civilian rescue organization without terrorist links, Syrian film producer Kareem Abeed was not allowed to attend the Academy Awards to support his movie about the White Helmets, “Last Men in Aleppo,” as his visa application was officially denied by the U.S. government as he was “found ineligible for a visa under Section 212(f) of the Immigration and Nationality Act.” The very fact that the U.S. found White Helmets members nominated for the Academy Awards to be a risk in the country shows that the White Helmets are just another classic example of Washington weaponizing terrorists to advance their own agendas, just as the KLA were used against Serbia or the mujahideen that morphed into Al-Qaeda were used against the Soviet intervention in Afghanistan.
Although the White Helmets played a pivotal role in the propaganda campaign against Syria from 2013 onwards, they now have nothing to defend or any purpose to serve as they only operate in areas that are undeniably controlled by Al-Qaeda affiliated groups and other radical elements, in a very, very small area of Syria. They can no longer portray themselves as an innocent organization that only helps civilians, as there is now endless evidence of their ties to terrorism, foreign intelligence agencies and doctoring of footage.
If we consider that the founder of the White Helmets and the deceased in Istanbul is a former British Intelligence officer, we can clearly see that it is a network of civil defense organizations, in which British Intelligence is involved, and supported by other intelligence agencies. The dubious death of a former British intelligence member living in Istanbul with his family is thought provoking and must raise serious questions.
It is also thought-provoking that this person is based in Istanbul. The death of Mesurier could have been reported as the death of a British citizen or the death of a former member of the British intelligence, however, Turkish media reported it as the death of the founder of the White Helmets. In other words, the Turkish media seems to have tacitly admitted that White Helmets are not an innocent non-governmental organization. Of course, after Turkey’s invasion of northern Syria, there were some changes in the Damascus-Ankara relationship. The West’s approach to the Turkish invasion of northern Syria may have also played a role in changing the attitude towards the White Helmets.
A security source claimed that Mesurier had fallen from the balcony of his home office with his death being treated as a suspected suicide, with a third person – a diplomat – claiming the circumstances around his death were unclear, according to The Sun. This also comes as BBC journalist Mark Urban said in a series of now-deleted tweets that it would not “have been possible” to fall from Le Mesurier’s balcony, with him also Tweeting that “there’s a good deal of suspicion it may be murder by a state actor, but others suggest he may have taken his own life.”
Essentially, no one knows just yet whether it was murder, suicide or an accident. This has not stopped the British media from alluding that there may be a connection to the “Russian smear campaign” made on Friday and his death on Monday. However, when we look at the way the incident took place, there is every suggestion that this incident was murder, given that there were cuts on his face, fractures on his feet and that he was found dead on the street, according to Turkish media. The probability of murder becomes stronger.
The question then shifts to who might have done? It is too early to say who did it, and anything forth said can only be considered speculation, but the West does have a rich history of making their assets disappear when they are no longer needed.
The White Helmets no longer have a purpose to serve in Syria with the inevitable victory of government forces over the Western-backed terrorists. Rather, the danger the White Helmets pose is a full-scale revelation on how deep their ties with Western and Gulf intelligence agencies and terrorist organizations go. Although revelations are slowly beginning to emerge, Mesurier no doubt had a wealth of knowledge on many dirty secrets related to Syria and the imperialist war against it.

So after all the devious stuff his little proteges did - he was just hung out to dry by MI6 - future employees beware - NATO intelligence - perhaps he didn't know EXACTLY what the White Helmets had been created for and got up to?

White Helmets’ founder James Le Mesurier
A fetishistic Guardian article seeks to rehabilitate the life and death of the former British soldier turned 'humanitarian', but cannot explain away his lavish lifestyle, missing money, and all the other financial irregularities.
On the morning of November 11, 2019, James Le Mesurier, founder of Syria's controversial White Helmets, was found dead in Istanbul. Since then, the Western establishment has struggled to get its story straight on the man, his professional history, the group he founded, and how he died.
The latest example of mainstream media narrative management in the ever-mysterious case came in the Guardian on October 27, in the form of a 6,000-word hagiography of Le Mesurier, authored by its veteran Middle East reporter Martin Chulov.

Martin Chulov, Middle East Correspondent for the Guardian newspaper
Many at this point will be familiar with the idolatrous portrait it paints of its subject - a heroic humanitarian committed to benevolent causes who saved untold lives, tragically driven to suicide by a "disinformation campaign led by Russian and Syrian officials and peddled by pro-Assad bloggers, alt-right media figures and self-described anti-imperialists." Nonetheless, it marks the first time the significant controversy surrounding his financial dealings has ever been explored, let alone mentioned, by a British news outlet.
In July this year, the Dutch newspaper De Volkskrant published a long-read of its own, explosively revealing how, three days prior to his death, Le Mesurier 'confessed' via email to the White Helmets' many international donors, who'd funded the group to the tune of hundreds of millions over the years, that he'd committed fraud.
The disclosure was prompted by an internal audit by a Dutch accountant of the finances of Mayday, the foundation started by Le Mesurier to find, train, and support the White Helmets. The audit found, among other things, that he had been paying himself and his wife, long-time UK Foreign & Commonwealth Office (FCO) operative Emma Winberg, "excessive" salaries and supplementing the totals with unjustifiably vast cash bonuses; that his employment of his wife represented a potential conflict of interest; and that he might be guilty of tax evasion.
While claiming this malfeasance wasn't intentional, Le Mesurier took full and sole responsibility, and expressed fears that further investigation could expose yet more "mistakes and internal failures."
Monetary misconduct
Damning stuff indeed, but De Volkskrant's seismic disclosures have been curiously ignored by all other Western media outlets until now. The Guardian's article deals with the damning revelations, both directly and indirectly - Le Mesurier, whom Chulov knew personally, and with whom he clearly maintained an intense affinity, is acquitted on all charges. Indeed, the White Helmets founder is said to have simply "unravelled under the weight of claims that would later prove to be false."
The author is at pains throughout to frame "disinformation" as fundamental to Le Mesurier's untimely demise, in terms of causing him immense "stress," which led to him "disintegrating" mentally, damaging his reputation and that of the White Helmets in the eyes of world opinion, and, in turn, stoking erroneous suspicions in donor countries that he and his company were engaged in various improper activities.
The question of how a battle-hardened military veteran could be so deleteriously impacted mentally and emotionally by "attacks on Russian television and social media," particularly if they were entirely without substance, is unasked and unanswered.
There's little doubt Le Mesurier wasn't in a good state during his final weeks. It's been widely reported he was taking sleeping pills and psychiatric medication. Less well amplified were Turkish news reports alleging he and his wife had "fought violently" while dining out together the day before his death.
James Le Mesurier Emma Winberg wife white helmets fraud
James Le Mesurier's wife and business partner Emma Winberg with unknown person
Chulov alleges "a distressed Le Mesurier" told friends just before he died that claims of Mayday's monetary misconduct "seemed to come from nowhere." In fact, questions about what purpose the vast sums donated to the company were put to, and where they all ultimately ended up, had long circulated.
While his article states that donor countries maintained their support for the White Helmets "despite the disinformation surrounding the group's work," this isn't true. In September 2018, the Dutch government ended its backing, after a damning Ministry of Foreign Affairs report outlined serious concerns about Mayday's financial practices, including an almost total lack of oversight over, and even awareness of, how its money entered Syria, and precisely whose pockets it eventually lined.
However, Chulov feels confident dismissing any and all suggestions of embezzlement, for he's in possession of a report by forensic auditors Grant Thornton, conducted at the request of Mayday's donors, which concluded there was "no evidence of misappropriation of funds" by Le Mesurier and Winberg.
Except that he isn't, because it hasn't been made public, at donors' express request. Instead, he relies on the claims of a nameless "source familiar" with the report - which could conceivably, of course, be Winberg herself.
Excessive salaries plus bonuses
It's clear Grant Thornton's report isn't an unalloyed clean bill of health, either - the auditors found "significant gaps in the administrative organization and internal control environment of Mayday" and "identified significant cash transactions that have not been (fully) recorded in the cash books and/or general ledger."
Moreover, due to Mayday's "informal" working environment, many key discussions took place "orally and over WhatsApp," meaning auditors "had to reconstruct a number of financial events and are unable to provide certainty in those cases."
Chulov is quick to dismiss the significance of these failings as nothing more than "shoddy" bookkeeping, contending "auditors found nothing to support the far more serious allegations made" against Le Mesurier - despite apparently not having actually read the report himself.
mayday rescue white helmets Le Mesurier
Likewise, he concedes Mayday's executive salaries had been "higher than industry standards", although his anonymous source familiar with the report is on hand to reassure him, and readers, "they were not off-the-scale high."In 2017, Le Mesurier informed the Netherlands' Ministry of Foreign Affairs he was paying himself a salary of €24,000 per month, before bonuses - several orders of magnitude higher than the designated salary ceiling at other Dutch government-funded enterprises. And considerably more than the $150 a day the White Helmet rescuers on the ground received.
References to Le Mesurier founding three separate companies named 'Mayday Rescue' - Mayday Rescue FZ-LLC in Dubai, Mayday Search and Rescue Training and Consultancy Services Ltd in Turkey, and Stichting Mayday Rescue Foundation in the Netherlands - are predictably absent from the Guardian's article.
Accounts aren't publicly available for any of them - the Dutch entity, while not registered as a charitable organisation, is characterised as being 'without commercial enterprise', so doesn't have to file accounts at all. Dutch 'stichtings', or foundations, are openly advertised by Dutch law firms as ideal ways for wealthy individuals and corporations to minimize tax liabilities and distribute funds internationally.
The company nonetheless complied with governance and transparency requirements, appointing a Secretary and Treasurer. As such, the UK government could plausibly claim that Mayday Rescue, to which London funneled £43 million between 2015 and 2018, was, to the best of its knowledge, fully above board.
Tax havens and tangled webs
Except the £43 million actually went to Mayday Rescue FZ-LLC in Dubai - something only begrudgingly admitted by the FCO in March 2019, in response to a Freedom of Information request, after much heel-dragging and obfuscation.
Dubai is a notorious tax haven, and FZ-LLCs - Free Zone Limited Liability Companies - aren't subject to any taxes on dividends, so they can be used to easily and opaquely repatriate profits. The entities are required to maintain accounting records, which can be inspected by authorities, but aren't required to file accounts of any kind.
It may be significant that one of Stichting Mayday Rescue Foundation's three directors, alongside Le Mesurier and Winberg, was a British Army veteran, Rupert Davis, who, in April 2016, founded the company Chameleon Global. Dissolved in October 2020, it was categorised as dormant - that is, non-operational - for the duration of its existence. Le Mesurier also founded other companies, with indeterminate connections to his assorted Mayday entities. For instance, in April 2017 he established Sisu Global BV in the Netherlands. It has never filed accounts, in breach of Dutch law. Le Mesurier resigned in November 2018, but Winberg apparently remains a director.
In January 2019, Le Mesurier registered My Zahara Limited as a dormant company in northern England, at an address belonging to a company formation agent specializing in, among other things, compliance with money laundering regulations, suggesting he intended to use the firm to repatriate money from his overseas firms.
Davis was also, until April 2019, connected to Sisu Global BV, a company in the Netherlands founded by Le Mesurier in April 2017. It has never filed accounts, in breach of Dutch law. Le Mesurier himself resigned from it in November 2018. Winberg apparently remains a director.
Chulov also, again predictably, dismisses as "disinformation" allegations that the White Helmets were "created by governments determined to remove Assad from power"; that Le Mesurier was "an agent of western intelligence, using a rescue organisation as a Trojan horse for regime change"; and that the organization was in any way affiliated to violent extremist groups.
What are matters of public record, however, is that the White Helmets were funded by the very governments avowedly committed to 'regime change' in Syria via covert and overt means; that Le Mesurier's professional history included spells as a military intelligence operative; and that the group has openly collaborated with the Al-Nusra Front, among other jihadist elements, and engaged in violent activity.
In a June 2015 speech discussing his founding of the White Helmets, Le Mesurier cited a market research agency study which found that, in fragile environments, security forces garner low levels of public trust while first responders have the highest as a key motivating factor in his decision to establish a "humanitarian aid group."
Untold millions for propaganda
That the White Helmets' benevolent image was very carefully constructed and promoted by a government attempting to achieve 'regime change' is amply underlined by FCO documents leaked by hacktivist collective Anonymous.
The documents reveal that ARK, a firm founded by FCO veteran Alistair Harris where Le Mesurier worked between 2011 and 2014, played a pivotal role in promoting the White Helmets, developing"an internationally focused communications campaign to raise global awareness" of the group to "keep Syria in the news."
Along the way, ARK, among many other endeavors, produced a documentary on the White Helmets, and ran its various social media accounts, among them the Facebook page for Idlib City Council, at one time mooted as a potential interim government to replace Bashar Assad. When Al-Nusra took the city, the White Helmets were filmed celebrating the 'victory' with the group's fighters in its main square.
ARK profited to the tune of untold millions of pounds from these and other information-warfare efforts. The same illicit file tranche also reveals InCoStrat, founded by none other than Emma Winberg, also reaped large bounties for manipulating public perceptions about Syria, within and without the country. In one file, the firm boasted of surreptitiously "initiating events to create media effect" and of "using media to create events."
One example of the former strategy saw InCoStrat produce mock Syrian currency, in three denominations, imploring Syrians to "be on the right side of history." It was intended to ensure that international opinion remained arrayed against Assad, at a time "media attention has shifted almost exclusively towards ISIS and some influential voices are calling for co-operation with the Syrian regime to combat ISIS."
The file states:
"The notes are due to be smuggled into regime-held parts of Syria once formal clearance has been authorized by HMG officials ... We will engage the international media to create a story around the event ... The message to the regime [is] covert but active resistance continues."
Another document indicates that Winberg's InCoStrat also established Basma - "a media platform providing human interest stories and campaigns that support [UK government] policy objectives" - and engaged in propaganda operations in the wake of the 2003 invasion of Iraq, training and maintaining a network of journalists who were "instrumental in reporting on events in Basra."
On the subject of propaganda, establishment efforts to rehabilitate Le Mesurier are scheduled to continue apace in future.
Starting on November 9, the BBC will transmit a 15-part radio documentary on Mayday Rescue. Over the summer, Chloe Hadjimatheou, a reporter on the project, approached a number of journalists and researchers who'd publicly raised questions about the White Helmets, asking if they wished to contribute to the program.
Several of the individuals targeted subsequently published their correspondence with Hadjimatheou, showing that the program's preordained agenda and objectives couldn't be more blatant.
What is clear is that any suggestion Le Mesurier was a British intelligence operative surreptitiously attempting to foster regime change in Syria, or that the White Helmets weren't an entirely benevolent, independent humanitarian organization will be rubbished, and all voices critical of the group will be smeared as witting or unwitting agents of the Russian and Syrian governments. _________________ www.lawyerscommitteefor9-11inquiry.org

The death of James Le Mesurier
Opinion » Columnists
https://www.pravdareport.com/opinion/144116-mesurier/
The death of former British intelligence officer turned humanitarian activist, James Le Mesurier, still raises many questions among the international and intelligence communities. The co-founder of the controversial "White-Helmets" (also known as Syrian Civil Defense) was found dead on November 11th near his apartment in central Istanbul's Beyoğlu neighbourhood at around 4.30am. Turkish media reports said he was found with fractures to his head and legs and appeared to have fallen from a balcony. Two days later the Turkish authorities revealed that none of the acquired elements could lead to a homicide-hypothesis.

The dynamics of the accident recall the one of Ashraf Marwan, the Egyptian double agent who worked for Egypt and Israel during the Yom Kippur war and who was found dead on June 27th 2007 after falling from the balcony of his fifth-floor apartment in London.
On April 29th 2014 another "accident" occurred in Cairo when 31-year old Egyptian journalist and civil rights activist Bassem Sabry fell from the balcony of a Giza apartment complex, dying on the spot. A series of deaths that add up to previous other cases occurred in the 1970's such as the ones regarding Egyptian ambassador to Britain, General Leithy Nassif, who also fell from a balcony in London and the case of Ali Shafik, an alleged arms dealer and secretary in the office of former Egyptian Vice President Abdel Hakim Amer.
Even though these cases all differ in context, time period and location, they still have a common denominator, the mysterious fall from the balcony which somehow appears as a sinister place where an accident is very likely to occur.
Regarding Le Mesurier's profile and activity, his long experience within the British intelligence and the private intelligence sector is clear and proven, with tasks such as re-integrating the UCK within civil defense roles in the new-born Kosovo. After leaving the army in June of 2000, Le Mesurier covered several roles in the private security sector in the West Bank, in Gaza, Amman and Baghdad (where he took an advisor role at the Embassy of the United States).
From 2005 to 2012 Le Mesurier worked for the British headquartered Olive Group (later merged into the U.S. Constellis Group) and for Good Harbor Consulting, led by Richard A. Clarke, formerly National Coordinator for Security, Infrastructure Protection and Counter-terrorism under U.S. Presidents Clinton and George W. Bush.
From 2012 to 2014 Le Mesurier worked for the UAE-based ARK (Analysis, Research and Knowledge) with the objective of legitimating economic, political and social aspirations of conflict-affected communities. In 2013 the British officer started a cooperation with the Turkish NGO "AKUT Search and Rescue" in order to train non-governmental Syrian civil defense teams on Turkish soil.
As explained by The Guardian, Le Mesurier was convinced that the conventional models of stabiliZation runt by big-budget contractors in the region were dysfunctional, and that the only viable path to recovery was through empowering and engaging local communities.
In 2014 Le Mesurier set up Mayday Rescue, a no-profit group registered in the Netherlands, with offices in Turkey, Jordan and UAE, specialized in training and assisting volunteer emergency first responders in areas of conflict, instability, and natural disasters. The new-born company formed and trained the well-known and initially cited "White Helmets", a group of first-responders who rush to the scenes of bombings to save lives.
The White-Helmets have been strongly criticized by Syrian, Russian, Chinese and Iranian media and institutions, often accused of working as a proxy for anti-Assad forces based in the West and to be an asset of the US and the UK. One interesting element is that the group was also banned from Kurdish-controlled areas in Syria.
One particularly suspicious aspect pointed out is the fact that the White Helmets operated exclusively in the Syrian areas controlled by rebels and Qaedist groups. Additionally, the rescue group was accused by Russia and the Assad government of staging chemical attacks such as the one in Douma (April 7th 2018).
Even though a conspicuous part of the Western media defined such accusation as "Russian-orchestrated fake news", it is interesting to notice how even Western news sites and papers such as the British left-wing Morning Star exposed the issue related to orchestrated chemical attacks:
"At least 40 members of pseudo-humanitarian group the White Helmets have admitted to staging chemical attacks in Syria, according to a new study by a Russian think tank. Spokesman Maxim Grigoriev unveiled the results of the Foundation for the Study of Democracy's research, which purported to show the group had faked attacks to provoke a reaction against Syrian President Bashar al-Assad".
The real role of the White Helmets will probably never be revealed and the issue will always remain a matter of dispute between the two sides. Additionally, it cannot be ruled out that the group might have had a double objective, without denying the humanitarian side. After all this is an era where wars and intelligence operations are frequently carried out by the so-called proxies.
As to the death of James Le Mesurier, it will very likely go down in history as an "accident". The man simply fell from the balcony of his apartment in a central area of Istanbul where he was known to the locals as an English teacher and a very kind and courteous person, no doubt about that.

The Fiasco Of James Le Mesurier’s Death
https://southfront.org/the-fiasco-of-james-le-mesuriers-death/
Written by Khaled Iskef exclusively for SouthFront
Ever since the body of James Le Mesurie, co-founder of Syria’s White Helmets “rescue organization” was found in Turkey, there’s been a lot of controversy surrounding the incident.
Initially, Russia was blamed for the killing, then it was ruled a suicide, and various facts about his transgressions came to light.
Stories and stories abounded about the death of James Le Mesurier in Turkey in November of 2019. Every now and then an article appears here and some information pops up there, contradicting each other in the details of his mysterious death. The Turkish security authorities have largely concealed the circumstances, which calls into question the truth of whether James died by suicide, as is the official version, or was he killed? Who stands behind his death and who stands to benefit from it?

This article is a collection of many written articles that will presented and win the hope to reach an important conclusion about the answers to the questions posed above. This will give an important character to the role of the intelligence services in supporting and ending the role of anyone threatening the interests of these same services. This stands especially in relation to any attempt at exposing their suspicious role that was practiced in Syria during the years of war.

Who is James Le Mesurier?
He was the co-founder of the White Helmets and was the Director of Mayday Rescue.
A lot has been said about the White Helmets “rescue organization”, but there’s been little talk about his other operation.
Mayday Rescue was established in 2014 in Turkey, a year after the founding of the White Helmets organization. Both Russia and Syria accuse the White Helmets of being biased against the Damascus government and Moscow. This comes in addition to providing misleading information received to the United Nations, especially regarding documents and testimony on the use of chemical weapons.
There is also ample evidence that the organization is active in areas controlled by al-Qaeda in the north of Syria, especially in Idlib and previously in Aleppo and its surrounding areas, while it was under the control of the Al-Nusra Front.
James was a former commander in the British army in the nineties, and he was the one who trained and founded the White Helmets organization in Turkey and then led them into Aleppo in 2013. He played a major role in Mayday in funnelling American and British money to the White Helmets.
What is the latest narrative about the death of James James Le Mesurier?
He committed suicide, according to a report by the Guardian published on November 27, 2020. It is strange that the topic is narrated in a way that the writer tries to conceal the truth of his death despite the fact that a lot of information has been presented, including falsified and forged information. The report largely disregards what was published by Turkish media and websites. This information will be listed this here in full so that it can be analyzed and one can gain some insight into the circumstances around Le Mesurier’s death.
James Le Mesurier died according to the following circumstances:
According to psychiatrists, a person committing suicide is a result of the deterioration of the psychological situation and the great pressures and the lack of anything to live for, but James. This is untrue, according to what his wife said, when they met almost a year before he died. He allegedly said that he had found his soul reconciled after his previous two failed experiences in marriage. As such, it is questionable that he commited suicide after one happy year of marriage. Martin Chulov said in his article in the Guardian that they fell in love with each other at first sight.
It is also questionable how he commited suicide by taking sedative medication, keeping in mind that on the night of his dead he took sleeping pills at 4 am and the date and time of death were set at 4.30 pm according to the coroner’s report. His wife, Emma, woke up at 5.30 under the influence of sleeping pills, according to Procar Press, the news agency that announced its closure on July 6, 2020 for logistical reasons.
According to the coroner’s report, the site of the discovery of the body was 5 meters away from the place of Le Mesurier’s presumed fall.
In addition, it was found that James’s body suffered fractures of the feet and head, and nowhere else, which is contrary to the logic of forensic science. According to simple logic, and forensic science, in the event of a free fall, the body either falls on its feet or its head and it is close to impossible to receive fractures in two opposite sides of one body at the same time. It is difficult to believe that he fell both on his head and feet at the same time.
Also, the height of the balcony is quite low, it is dubious if whether a person falling from that height would even suffer serious enough injuries to die.
It is worth noting, that according to the Turkish TRT channel, that Le Mesurier and his wife moved home one day before his death, as he used the house as an office, and his wife explained that the reasons for the move were because of the proximity of the house to the medical center in which James is receiving treatment.
In the days leading up to his death, James Le Mesurier was “unwell” and “tense”, said the old housekeeper, Jules Vizulaeva, who called James to receive treatment in a medical center near the scene of the accident.
According to a plethora of reports, the presence of the dha channel, in addition to pictures of its correspondents and their equipment, is witnessed at the site of the incident

This was the first channel that covered the police operations on the day of his death, but when the channel’s archive is sifted through, it appears that all information regarding James Le Mesurier has gone, there is not a single report on the matter.
Some media reports claimed that his death was a planned killing by representatives of a specific country, without mentioning the name of that said country. This was denied by the Turkish police through their statements that the house of Le Mesurier can only be accessed by means of fingerprint identification.
In addition, according to a Daily Mail report Le Mesurier and his wife were the only ones in their home at that time, as it was proven that no one had entered or left his home at the time of his death as it was seen on the surveillance cameras.
The Turkish Demurin News Agency reported that the police discovered that Le Mesurier’s face had been cut with a sharp object, citing the UK outlet the Telegraph.
Istanbul Governor Ali Yerlikaya told reporters that “the Turkish Prosecutor’s Office and the police are making multifaceted efforts to highlight the incident, after extensive internet searches had been carried out.
There also the testimonies of a store owner in that area, cited by the Turkish channel Sana Al-Bison, and according to the testimony of Batuhan, one of the witnesses of the accident in the area, who runs a grocery store on the street of the Ali Pasha School. They said that a year ago there was a person claiming to be a Syrian in his fifties with poor clothes and white skin, and with blue eyes, he was selling napkins in the corner of the street, in which James died. This Syrian man reportedly stood there everyday until around 6 in the afternoon.
What is striking here is that this person had chosen the worst spot napkins in Turkey. He was not very talkative and very conservative, but the individual never appeared after James died, he vanished approximately 10 days before the incident.
Arohan Fakili, one of the street vendors in the city, said that he had seen the napkin seller more than once, and stated that his name was Muhammad, as reported by CNN.

The retired Turkish investigator, Mustafa Bayram, visited the scene two days after the accident and told reporters that there are still unanswered questions. He said that it made no sense it was suicide, and that it was likely a murder.
And as one of the salesmen reported, according to the camera records in his shop, James came to him a few hours before his death happy, with a smile on his face, to buy two packs of cigarettes, wearing a white shirt and milky white pants, and his expensive Rolex watch.
These are private video recordings, and here is the question: How did he wear the same clothes when he was sleeping as his wife claimed? Can a person who went to sleep under the influence of heavy medication keep himself fully groomed and go to sleep.

The last pictures show James shopping in the supermarket, and on the right is the photo of his dead body.
Looking at the location of the balcony and its distance from the place of the body, it can be observed that James, as alleged when he committed suicide, chose to walk all that distance on the balcony to commit suicide, for no apparent reason.
Was he walking willingly, or did he choose a more attractive spot to commit suicide?
The Fiasco Of James Le Mesurier's Death
One also wonders how a former British military intelligence officer could choose this method to commit suicide from a balcony on the second floor.
At the beginning of the investigation into the death of James Le Mesurier, the Turkish government was like instructed to promote it as a murder to accuse the Russian government after Russia’s statements about James four days prior to his death. This refers to the revelations that he was a former British intelligence officer. He was an active agent in Kosovo, as it was tweeted by the Russian Foreign Ministry.
After it became clear to Western governments that the story of James’s murder at the hands of a Russian holds no water and is hardly believable, considering that there is no interest for Russia to kill him, the scenario of his death was changed. He suddenly became depressed and simply wanted to end his own life.
According to what the forensic doctor Nawzat Alkan, who first examined James’s body, said in a video interview, the location of the fall was not suitable for suicide, and his hands, feet and head were broken. This made no sense if it were suicide, and the distance from the balcony was also too far for somebody who had killed themselves.
Then, the Turkish media reported that it was a suicide, and two days later, James’s body was sent to Britain.
When his wife, Emma Weinberg, was questioned, she said that James was receiving psychiatric treatment and taking anti-depressant pills, and this was the opposite of what his friend Hamish Gordon said. He said that he had met James weeks before his death and he was in wonderful health, both mentally and physically.
Some might consider it difficult to accuse a Le Mesurier’s widow of killing her husband, but discovering Emma Winberg’s role at Mayday Rescue and associated organizations will provide a much-needed context for unraveling this complex case.
According to her LinkedIn profile that she later deleted, Weinberg worked as a political officer at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office in the United Kingdom for seven years, until 2014. In January of 2015, she co-founded a company called Incostrat, most likely with Paul Tilley, who was an associate of Le Mesurier.
Incostrat was effectively established as an external public relations contractor for the “moderate armed opposition” in Syria and was funded by the British Foreign Office’s Conflict Stability and Security Fund (CSSF) – which also provides heavy funding to Mayday Rescue and the White Helmets.
The Incostrat subcontracting document reviewed by The Guardian described the Saudi-backed Army of Islam group as one of the “moderate armed opposition” groups that received media advice and guidance on promotional strategies.
Regarding her husband’s death, accusations were expected pointed at her, as no one entered the apartment and she was alone with him. Her departure from Turkey was prohibited until the investigation was closed and she was allowed to leave a month after her husband’s death, when she returned to Amsterdam.
According to the Guardian, Weinberg took a seat at Mayday Rescue several months after marrying James in February 2018, she was a member of the board of directors, before stepping down. In May 2019 she returned to the company as CEO.
Who is Hamish Gordon?
A retired former British Army general, he is a chemical weapons expert, founder of Doctors Under Fire, and Commanding Officer of the Joint UK Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear Regiment and NATO.
Hamish Gordon previously confessed to his relationship with James.

James Le Mesurier’s friend, Hamish Gordon, director of the Doctors Under Fire campaign group, spoke to Forces News about his impression of Mr. Le Mesurier.
Gordon said, “We’ve been in the military for quite some time, he was in the military for a relatively short time, I think five or six years, and then I met him again in 2014 when he conceived the idea of the White Helmets and it’s a tremendous feat, actually akin to the services organization the NHS Global Health.
“It takes a special kind of person to be able to do this.”
Gordon said the Syrian government and its allies “could” have considered James Le Mesurier as an enemy due to his work with the White Helmets.
“I know that James has received a lot of harsh direct criticism from Russia and the Syrian government, as do many of us who are trying to help on the humanitarian side in Syria, but the White Helmets have been the focus of much anxiety and mockery from the Russians and Syrians, and as the head of that organization, I am sure of he suffered much more than that.
I saw him in person a few weeks ago and communicated with him regularly via different parts of social media, and sure enough when I saw him in person, he was in great shape.
There was no indication that he was under any psychological pressure, at least not any more than you would expect from running a very large organization in a war zone.”
Hamish stated that James’s death was a murder, denying the story of suicide, according to Forcesnet.
Investigating Hamish, it became clear that he had participated in the testimony to the United Nations, which accused the Syrian army of using chemicals in Eastern Ghouta in 2013. As such, he is a part of the team that carried out perjury. It essentially sets the stage that Gordon and Le Mesurier were against the Syrian government and Russia, and still Hamish Gordon didn’t accuse Russia of murdering him, but also denied a suicide.
Hamish Gordon also testified on the alleged chemical weapons use, in front of the UN.
Hamish also gave an interview to the BBC on the alleged chemical weapons use.
Returning to the narrative claiming James died by suicide, the Guardian stated that his death came as a result of investigation pressures over the disclosure of sums that had been embezzled by James Le Mesurier and his wife Weinberg, according to auditor Cornelis Frizewijk.
Cornelis Vrieswijk
The auditor concluded that James and his wife that they were corrupt and embezzled people. Vrieswijk stated that Emma spent $90,000 on her wedding dress and $250,000 to buy a speedboat. There were also serious doubts arose that Weinberg had withdrawn $55,000 from Mayday Resco in 2018 and did not return it. About what he said after the investigation and that Emma had worn a dress worth 1795 pounds as a gift from her mother.
The Dutch accountant discovered that leaders of the Dutch foundation behind the White Helmets, used the money earmarked for a rescue operation to reward themselves instead. James Le Missurier, founder of the White Helmets, died in what appeared to be a suicide days after that discovery, Volkswagen Krant reports based on her own research.
According to the newspaper, James received $50,000 in cash for the Flying Carpet operation on July 17, 2018, and after four days, about 100 White Helmets and their family members were smuggled from Syria to Jordan through Israel.
Al-Mayadin has an investigation in this regard after Its correspondent entered the country in disguise and conducted a meeting with the leaders of the White Helmets. 800 of them came from ISIS and Al-Nusra controlled areas through Israel. This is in stark contrast with what journalist Martin Shulov claimed in his article for the Guardian that about 100 members were transferred. This likely means that in addition 100 members of the White Helmets, 700 are from members of actual terrorist organizations.
Volkskrant wrote that fewer White Helmets could be saved than had been hoped, because the bulk of the $50,000 Le Mesurier took from Mayday’s vault in Istanbul was not used for the rescue. And the money had completely disappeared.
In the spring of 2019, a British accountant requested clarification and received receipts from James stating that after the evacuation from Jordan, the money was handed over to another manager, who signed off on it.
After that, Mayday established an emergency operations center in Istanbul, in case more White Helmets had to be rescued, and the money there was in a safe. The British accountant accepted that, as there were receipts to prove the claims.
But when the Dutch accountant went to check in November 2019, he found that the funds were missing and the receipts were forged. An employee involved in the scheme told him that James had asked him to sign old receipts. Following that, the accountant met with James to ask about the receipts, and he admitted to the fraud, according to De Volkskrant.
The next day, November 8, Le Mesurier wrote an email to the donor countries, admitting that the $50,000 had disappeared as a result of “fraud”, but added that there was no malicious intent.
“I bear full and only responsibility for that,” he wrote, according to the Guardianr. He discussed his fears that a second investigation by a forensic accountant would reveal “internal mistakes and failures” that could be in the interest of “Russia and the trolls loyal to Assad.” He left the choice of how to proceed to the donor countries, adding that he was ready to step down from Mayday if they requested it and to pay back any wrong expenditures.
James’ Companies
Le Mesurier has established two companies during 2017 and 2019, (R3 Recovery and Mai Zahra)
R3 recovery and My Zahara Limited
R3 Recovery Company, founded by James with Weinberg and David based in Amsterdam, specializes in developing and implementing resilience solutions in the rescue environment, and the company name was changed to UGlobal))
UGlobal
In November 2018, when James resigned as director, James’s potential motivation to create this company might have been to transfer funds from Mayday Rescue to it in order to find resilience solutions.
Mai Zahra Company was founded by James alone in January 2019, and it is supposed to be based in the United Kingdom, but upon registering the company in Amsterdam, he established it using the services of an agent who forms companies and is known to specialize in money laundering.
The White Helmets and Mayday Rescue assisted individuals leave the areas controlled by the armed factions to the Syrian government, these reports coincide with reports to the Turkish media that James told his colleagues at Mayday Rescue that he plans to leave Turkey in June 2019, these reasons may be related to two factors: First, it comes down to leaks from OPCW inspectors reports, and secondly, payments by companies supporting Mayday Rescue began to wane as a result of the Dutch auditors’ reports.
Mayday Rescue declared bankruptcy and shutdown on August 11, 2020, a year after James was killed without any explanation.
The conclusion:
By following up on the background of the case and the bifurcation of the parties that have a relationship with his death, the circle of suspicion goes around several sides with an interest vested in James Le Mesurier dying.
If the Turkish narrative about his suicide after taking sleeping pills is correct, and trying to portray him as a victim of depression caused by the Russian side. Why does the Turkish side have an interest in abolishing any doubts about his supposed murder? This was suspected by the British BBC correspondent Mark Urban, the incident sets out several scenarios for who is responsible for the alleged murder of James Le Mesurier.
The disappearance of Muhammad, the “Syrian”, the napkin seller, 10 days before James’s murder, raises doubts about his role in monitoring or planning to kill James.
It must be noted that no one obtained the surveillance camera recordings in that area. Despite that the camera records could reveal all the circumstances of the case, as it reveals the balcony window from which he allegedly threw himself, and in all cases, falling from the balcony at this height, likely doesn’t cause death.
Based on the foregoing through the Dutch auditor, James in fact had been subjected to pressure by Mayday Rescue’s and the White Helmets’ donor countries to investigate the embezzled funds and has already admitted to fraud about these funds.
The message sent by James expressing his fear of another investigation by a forensic accountant and his suggestion to leave Mayday Rescue made the donorss, and especially the British Ministry of Development, concerned with the step that James would take, especially after relinquishing the support and management of an organization, which participated in falsifying the truth in Syria. As such this motive for murder may hold more water. These organizations, and perhaps British intelligence agencies, assassinated him four days after James Le Mesurier’s letter and his fateful meeting with the Dutch auditor Cornelis Frizewijk, according to Guardian writer Martin Schulov.

He is just a page of the book, all you need to know about him is,
Zakharova: The White Helmets’ co-founder, James Le Mesurier, is a former agent of Britain’s MI6, who has been spotted all around the world, including in the Balkans and the Middle East. His connections to terrorist groups were reported back during his mission in Kosovo.
US, UK, Canada & Netherlands somehow find $1.2 million for terrorist-friendly ‘White Helmets’ in Syria… because corona-virus. https://www.rt.com/op-ed/513281-west-funding-white-helmets-covid/
Here is the funny thing, how far West tried to cover-up White Helmets – they made a movie of them “The White Helmets” and almost all West MSM cover-up White Helmets stories. Uhmmm I remember how almost all MSM in West calling ISIL, Al-Qaeda, ISIS, Daesh, PKK, etc in Syria and Iraq “Freedom Fighters” BUT as long those “Freedom fighters” were in ME – when those “Freedom Fighters” came to West they became terrorists.
White Helmets – Are just a link for West to send money and weapons to big terrorists groups and nothing more. They also a tool for West to start a false flag – as we all know…they are terrorists and you know that when Satanic Zion help them to run away. MSM can cover them up all they want, and only morons buy it. https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/ae8013c01f632dde9c2fa9ddf529a25de 87561d6fc83fbba867434a35323f25a.png

White helmets never has be covered.
Its even on the internet by who is who, where and what they do.
The covers systematicly are done by morons here and in ME, which never say they also replace infrastructure for all kinds of wellfare and by that fx healthcare and firebrigades. They only are described as Jihadist.
It has been both from day one. No systems can remain with no civile infrastruture and do as they used to even Assads fx are bombarding them and their production and as low as for fire against food.
The majority of Syrians dont support Assads at all and never will. I dont like the Jihadist reasons, but are there any alternatives. Well there are. Fx SDF actually are the only ones having programs for the poorest ones. Those are not accepted by Assads as well.
And there are inspiration to find in thje rest of the world too. But thats strictly forbidden by Assads too. By taking in some of those changes the supercorrupt regime even would get more money for their golden bathtubs. They are not even able to or deny that too.

Its a typical stupidist answer. You not even try to check up all the other sources saying exact same things.
No wonder there is no Syrian State anymore. one of four is not even in Syria anymore. Jihadists inside You are grown because they has been ignored as real citicens. Kurds – now as SDFs is same thing.
SDF´s wish for peacefull local selfrule, because You not even try to have structures for develloping their areas. Its very visible in the towns. Kurds, Arabs and other urbanize, because the farming is from ancient time and by that is very low productive wasting water to the sky and spread and waste fertilizers as well.
By that even home made products has no value. Fx Kurds hardly produce their own hats.
Syria today could give many a lot more farm products by fwer farmers and by that upgrade them for sales. Its also possible to export food to several neighbors by tranportaion and cooling. Those products dont have to look first class and fx same seize or color. Poor people care about nutricians.
I also wonder why Syria just sell fuel. If Syria has oil they at least vould buy used machinery and make cheep plastic buckets and like that. Thats possible because the income pr hour is very low. Other simple things can be produced too.
But it did not happen, because You are kept low and non educated. Even socalled well educated Syrians cant be used here in Denmark. They have no structure to do anything by themself. Danes do a lot by themself not being under command. They by that also has bigger responsabilities for, what they actually do. And if the are doing extra well they also gets better paid or gets upgraded by free education by the companies or the state.
To me those terrorists are a symptom made by the Assads. They have no other choise then arm themself. They mainly are the poorest in towns and in the cpuntries having no hope for a life. The only hope is to be armed and remove You.
All those were not terrorrists. You made them to by not including them. The onluy other structure they knew was and are Johadisme by random Sharia.
The only sensioble persons actually having plans for the future are the PYD Kurds, but 4 socalled countries dont like to loose them.
But a population is not lost, if they decide more themself for their own taxmoney and know what the locals being themself need.
We have that not only in Denmark but in most western countries. In Denmark we have 50% tax to the local parlaments and by the upper parts has less responsabilities. We by that can elect new local politicians every fourth year. We also know if the local public imployed are good or bad. We by that control corruption much better and by that are number one in low corruption. If there is problems in one Kommune or Region, it by that is only there, and the rest continue as usual.
I dont say You should or can copy fx Our country or west. Its easy to find ones, which are much better then Yours. So copy from there and make them to Your own.
Something is terrible wrong in Syria and several other areas in that Region. Here You show Your relation to facts for needed change is not existing.

Despite not supporting Assad most Syrians seem to have voted for him
