Twitter user, Amanda Hunter, who was on a bus at the time has video of the aftermath of the incident. The BBC’s reporter at the scene also said he saw someone shot by police.

Why was this convicted criminal allowed early release from imprisonment albeit tagged?
This raises questions concerning both the criminal justice and intelligence system. It looks as though Priti Patel the Home secretary and COBRA and intelligence services are party to his early release.
I must confess I did not like the smirk on her face and shaking the hands of Cressida Dick following the mopping up on London Bridge. Neither do I find re-assuring the words of Boris Johnson crowing about upholding British values- what British values is he talking about several hundred years of ethnic cleansing, genocide, imperialism and slavery and money laundering.
Secondly why is an allegedly white male plainclothes offduty policeman running away with the criminal's knife being allowed to do so on London Bridge. This is unprecedented as it will have DNA fingerprints and of central importance in any investigation. It also appears to have no bloodstains. This is actually a criminal offence and the person running away is stealing evidence of manslaughter. What on earth is going on here?

Islam does not blame the innocent civilians, and Islam should not be blamed for the wayward actions of individual Muslims.
In the lead up to the general election, just as in the recent past, a lone attacker brings the debate about security to the fore, which will inevitably be jumped upon by the politicians whose domestic and foreign policies and securitisation of Muslims have made the world so dangerous today. The media and politicians are not learning the lessons of the past, continuing to allow individuals and elite groups to hijack policy for their own selfish gains. Muslims must not accept collective blame for the attack on London Bridge, nor should we allow ourselves to be pressured into supporting one candidate over another based on robust promises to be tougher on security. Muslims must empathise with the senseless and tragic loss life, while continuing to expose the rotten secular capitalist system that lies at the root of all criminality, exploitation and suffering in the world today.
The statement that we issued in 2017 remains true, with only the specific details changing. Our advice continues to be the same today as it did two years ago:
We do not accept the lie, that being a Muslim and living according to Islamic teachings makes us responsible for the violent acts of individuals. Millions of Muslims have suffered the consequences of military interventions in Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria and Libya, through loss of life, beloved relatives and property. Despite the chaos and bloodshed that the British government policies have spread in their lands, the Muslims living in these regions are focused on trying to rebuild their lands, not targeting innocent people in Britain or other states. It is a testament to the patience and steadfastness of the Muslims that so few have sought to use material means to exact revenge for years of death and destruction.
The victims of the attack are not to blame for the world’s ills, so should not be made to suffer for the crimes of others. Grievance and blame should be rightfully directed to the power-hungry elite establishment, who are responsible for colonial oppression overseas, and who use these incidents to sow distrust about Muslims to grab more power for themselves. They then use that power as a mandate for greater oppression of innocent people both in the UK and overseas; stifling dissent and stigmatising people who would challenge them at home.
The best means for victims of oppression to challenge such criminals and their policies is to expose the flawed ideology which on one hand preaches human rights, liberty and democracy, but in practice supports dictators through arms deals, trains their security services and carries out atrocities against civilians. The example of the recent Genocide in Burma is clear proof. The blood of the Rohingya Muslims in Myanmar is still fresh but Britain continues its support, training the Burmese military and turning a blind eye to Aung San Suu Kyi’s oppression.
To avoid scrutiny on their own policies, it’s convenient for the government that the Muslim community accept blame for this attack and other crimes, in order that we appear as a danger to ordinary people in Britain. Yet it is not Islam and Muslims that are a danger to British people. The Messenger Muhammad was sent as a mercy to mankind, to show people a way out of oppression and to stand up for justice. The only people who have ever rightfully feared Islam are the oppressors and exploiters of the world, who fear the loss of their power; were their crimes against humanity to be exposed.
The warmongers of the world Cameron, Blair, May, Trump, Bush, Obama; Hague and Johnson, along with those who profit enormously from lighting fires throughout the world and turning a blind eye to atrocities overseas, such as in Syria, Yemen, Kashmir, Palestine and Myanmar today. These are the only ones who should rightfully fear the Muslims standing up for justice, as Allah told us in the Quran to do so:
“You who believe! Be upholders of justice, bearing witness for Allah alone, even against yourselves or your parents and relatives…” [An-Nisa: 135]
We urge all people, Muslim or non-Muslim, to not accept collective blame for this attack against innocent civilians, just as we also do not accept that the British public bear collective blame for the oppressive colonial plans drawn up by the elite establishment, deceiving even their own people, purely for selfish interest and personal gain.
It is time to reject this narrative peddled by the establishment and their media outlets on the back of atrocities like this. The Islamic values are not responsible for this incident, nor for the misery that the world’s majority endure as a result of secular capitalist exploitation. Therefore, Muslims should stand proud of their belief and way of life. They should see that it is only Islam that is a solution to a world riddled with chaos, oppression, death and destruction.

The Islamic State has claimed responsibility for the deadly attack near London Bridge on Friday, saying via its Amaq news agency that the attacker was one of its fighters.
The suspect in the attack had served a prison sentence for a terror conviction, it has emerged.
Police said the attacker was previously convicted of terrorism offences in 2012 and had been released from prison on licence after agreeing to wear an electronic tag.
"To the best of my knowledge, the attacker was compliant with conditions imposed after his release from prison", an officer from the British counter-terrorism police said in a briefing on Saturday, adding that the police had found no evidence that anyone else was involved in the attack after carrying out searches in Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent.
After visiting the scene and speaking with police, Prime Minister Boris Johnson said that people convicted of terrorist offences should not be "out on early release":
"It is clear to me that this guy was out, he had served half of his sentence, he was out on automatic early release, and I have long said that this system simply isn’t working. It does not make sense for us as a society to be putting terrorists, people convicted of terrorist offences, of serious violent offences out on early release," he said.
"And we argue that people should serve the tariff, serve the term of which they are sentenced. And that’s my immediate takeaway from this," he added.
London Bridge attack: what happened?
Police say the attacker had attended an event celebrating a network bringing people together from criminal justice and higher education institutions.
It was held at Fishmongers' Hall on the north side of London Bridge.
The suspect began stabbing people inside the building before continuing on the bridge, where he was overwhelmed by members of the public, police said.
A video widely shared online shows three men — one armed with a narwhal tusk and another with a fire extinguisher — trying to pull the suspect to the ground.
Another verified video shows a man standing by the suspect — holding what looks like the tusk shortly — before police shot him dead.
George Robarts, a translator who was on the bridge at the time of the attack, said an unidentified man ran through the traffic and jumped the central partition to tackle the attacker with several other people.
"We ran away but looks like he disarmed him," he said. "Amazing bravery."
Officers had been called at 13:58 GMT on Friday and had confronted the suspect by 14:03, according to the Metropolitan Police.
Who are the victims?
A man and a woman, in addition to the suspect, died in the attack.
Three other people — a man and two women — were injured and taken to hospital.
No further details have been released.
What do we know about the attack suspect?
Police named him on Friday evening as 28-year-old Usman Khan.
He was shot dead on London Bridge by specialist police officers. There were fears he had an explosive vest on, but this turned out to be fake.
Khan, whose family is from Pakistan-controlled Kashmir, was convicted in 2012 for his part in an al-Qaeda-inspired plot to blow up the London Stock Exchange. He was released in December 2018 subject to conditions
The attack comes only three weeks after Britain lowered its national terrorism threat level to "substantial" from "severe", its lowest level since 2014.

What has been the reaction to the attack?
Prime Minister Boris Johnson said that “anybody involved in this crime and these attacks will be hunted down and will be brought to justice."
Britain "will not be cowed, divided or intimidated" by such attacks, he added.
London Mayor Sadiq Khan praised "the breathtaking heroism" of members of the public who thwarted the suspect and "ran towards danger not knowing what confronted them".
He said those who intervened didn't know that the device worn by the suspect was fake.

"They really are the best of us, another example of the bravery and heroism of ordinary Londoners," Khan added.
Metropolitan Police Commissioner, Cressida Dick, said: “The empty ideology of terror offers nothing but hatred and today I urge everyone to reject that. Ours is a great city because we embrace each other’s differences.
"We must emerge stronger still from this tragedy. In doing that we will ensure that the few who seek to divide us will never, ever succeed."

I just saw a film on Youtube in which the witness of the event which was about 100 yards away with friends, says that he heard more less 20 shots. I haven't seen such an execution in western movies
