Ideas for DIY placard slogans for American embassy demo'

I learn we have to make our own placards for the demo outside the American embassy on September 11(we don't have 'stop the war' resources).Would the ironic slogan... [/i]911,BUSH INTELLIGENT DESIGN?[i] be inappropriate?

I think you should be putting up the raw facts as bullet points. That way if you get any media coverage, and if any members of the public who have not been opened up to this, you'll be able to educate people.

Maybe:
• 9/11 - Hijackers alive and well
• 9/11 - Military planes hit WTC
• 9/11 - Controlled demolition
• 9/11 - Organised by the US government

I think if you took this approach it would hit home much more as oppose to the "Bush sucks" used all the time which we all know. Present the facts to as many people as you can and the majority will eventually loose confidence in the system.

Some great ideas here.

One word of caution - the embassy staff will be coming out at 1.30 pm to lay a wreath at the memorial, so there may well be some cameras.

We shall have to be silent for this bit, so we need some punchy slogans on placards. We need to remember to be respectful of the victims of 9/11 AND the 100,000s who have died in the ensuing "war on terror". We DON'T want to give the media any ammo to attack us as insensitive or whatever.

Asking questions is a good way around this. Also, the fact that we are trying to avert future wars and save more innocent lives.

So, please, be creative, but always bear our public image in mind!

Oh no - I'm turning into a spin doctor. Help.
