i have to recommend two regular topical news shows (both sites have archived MP3 material available)

the first is a wonderfully balanced show (1 hour each weekday) called:
Democracy Now, The War & Peace Report.
www.democracynow.org (their search engine will reveal lots of interesting well conducted interviews on a wide variety of topics... please have a look... AMY GOODMAN and her team are bloody amazing, totally committed to the cause for positive futures and a well balanced approach to journalism!)

the second is the absolutely brilliant Max Keiser and Stacy Herbert show called Karmabanque! This airs once every day (only about 15 mins but worth it!! and an hour each Saturday eve!!) this site has a great selection of archives also but not so well documented. Check it out:

this radio show is essential listening for those who want to understand the markets (stocks and shares etc...) and how they dictate political/world events and provide us with the signs of what is to come...
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE give this show a chance.... Max Keiser is a hero... he used to work on wall street, defected and now lives in France... he (and Stacey) can be volatile and absolutely hilarious and sometimes just plain pissed off... but their knowledge of the way the markets work is TRULY a blessing for us to behold!! haha... or sumthin like that!!
