Perhaps people could send letters such as this one to their local papers for publication on 9/11 this year - more signatures the better. It's about as long as you can get away with in a letters section.

WTC7 and Unanswered Questions about 9/11

On this, the 5th anniversary of 9/11, we urge all readers to look up “WTC7” on the internet. World Trade Centre 7 was a 47 storey skyscraper which collapsed on the afternoon of 9/11. This building wasn’t hit by an aeroplane, and had only small fires burning inside it, yet it collapsed completely to the ground in the manner of a controlled demolition. If you see the videos of its collapse and come to the conclusion that it was brought down with explosives, consider then the case of the Twin Towers.

These 110 storey, 415m high skyscrapers collapsed symmetrically and completely in approximately 10 seconds on the morning of 9/11 – that’s a rate of 11 storeys or an average of 41.5m per second - approximately freefall speed. Professor Steven Jones from BYU University in Utah has written an academic paper which proposes the hypothesis that WTC7 and the Twin Towers were brought down with explosives. So, did Al-Qaeda place these explosives, or was it rogue elements of the US government, military and intelligence agencies? We firmly believe the latter.

9/11 is still of utmost importance: it has led to a paradigm shift in global affairs, taking us from the Cold War to the "War on Terror". It is continually referenced by Bush and Blair to justify everything from war in Afghanistan and Iraq to attacks on civil liberties here in the UK.

The official 9/11 Commission completely ignores the issue of WTC7. Before responding to this article, please watch the videos of the collapse of WTC7 and make you own mind up as to whether it was a controlled demolition.

Thats a fabulous letter (complicit with the editors content limit usually <300 words)

Lets make this the UK 911 truth movements project initiative for Sept 2006.

The letter will be despatched to my local press and freebie distributed weekly newspaper (have sent 911 letters in before but they have not been published).

I'll put any feedback of my personal efforts on this thread.

Report of outcome:-

I have seen the letter published in one of the local newspapers, The Visitor although a bit late! Published 20/9/06. It appears in Viewpoint the one page allocated for letters to the editor and has been titled by the editor, Mr Glen Cooper as "Whats the truth behind 9/11?"

The letter has been published exactly as submitted although disappointingly the editor has censored the web links at the end!

The Oxford Mail seemed interested, and I spoke with a journalist who seemed keen to incorporate 9/11 Truth into the paper's coverage of the 5th anniversary, but in the end, nothing was published.

I intend to keep in contact in the hope that something might get published in future.
