All they knew was that someone higher up in the ranks thought it was unsafe to stay in the building, which was a pretty safe bet since the south tower had already collapsed. They were ordered to evacuate.
No one in the fire department issued such an order, so the firemen stayed put. It is believed that many of them were not even aware that the south tower had already collapsed, or they might have evacuated as well.
If the fire department was in on it, as many people appear to believe from the WTC7 "pull it" story, then why didn't they evacuate? That's the question. |

I've never heard anyone suggest that the fire department was, "in on it". What are you talking about?

If the "pull it" story is true, it merely means that the FDNY commander was in on it. There was no firefighting in WTC7. |
